IKEA has been opening lately this year, as usually huge enthusiasm for new place in town. As i know this brand is come from Swedish with their furniture and home living products.

But what new is, in this IKEA, we are available to have lunch or dinner by Swedish foods. This place absolutely crowded, not easy to find a spot at parking lot. my advise is you better earlier to get there.

long line at the food counter, they are not offering lot of menu, only few kind. Swedish meatball has become one of favorite, it is taste good indeed, and quiet huge portion for person. Mushroom sauce is thick and tasty. Another famous is Swedish Poached Salmon with Chives Sauce. This has beautiful presentation, salmon has nice color, great texture and sauce is tasty.

Green Tea has become one of top flavor that we could find in many kind of dishes. Cake, Cookies, Yoghurt, Drinks, Pancake and don't forget an Ice Cream. One famous dessert spot in Jakarta is Shirokuma. From the name, we can assume it's Japanese theme, and it is!

Shirokuma has been opened several branch in town. First was at Pantai Indah Kapuk area, but now they are available at few malls. Last time i tried was at Grand Indonesia Mall. Usually after work, went out with friends is such a good moment. Hanging out together, sharing our life burden :-D. So we took place at Shirokuma, rememberin they have great desserts.

As the name Shirokuma means White Bear. And it is using cute white bear as an brand icon. From concept, they are trying to put Japanese cuteness theme by using bright soft colors. Don't forget, the cuteness also appears on their dessert dishes. Mostly they are offering Green tea flavor as the main and raftly the menu are desserts. But they also got some meals, a hotdog in variant taste.

At that evening, it was quiet crowded since it's friday night. So here some menus we were order.

This one is called Tasting Plate, it's offering Matcha ICe Cream mixed with vanilla, Matcha cake and tiny bowl of red bean soup with two mochi balls. Ice cream is taste good, kind of sweet as green tea flavor not really sweet in real. And Matcha cake is same taste as well, common sweet cake, but it does has good texture. Another is sweet red bean, i am not sure this is set of menu or been customized. But can say 3 dishes served on this set, all contains sweet taste.

Next is Matcha Cake Partfait.

This one is just like usually Parfait, but in Matcha flavor. As previously, the ice cream mixed between matcha and vanilla. And don't forget the matcha cake, also bunch of corn flakes poured at the bottom. The Kuma Candy Parfait. As the name, this dessert has beautiful sweet mixed colors among the green and white, matcha and vanilla ice cream, yellow star cereals based at the bottom and colorful marshmallow candies.

And last is Oreo Mochi Waffle. It's looks stunning, Warm Waffles, topped with matcha ice cream, stick by two chocolate pocky, poured with oreo powder, and beautifully served with red strawberry and oreo for last touch. among the others, this one could be bigger portion of dessert. Double waffles gave enough for half of belly, then quiet tall ice cream stand on it. Sure you would be satisfied for dessert tonight.

Desserts are good, For Green tea fans, i am not sure how to recommend this. It is Green tea flavor from it taste. But let say if you're prefer bitter green tea like real green tea taste, this would not be your favorite. For me, i do enjoyed this, ice cream is my favorite and green tea flavor can be first choice amongs other flavors.

Another recommended chinese food restaurant in town. Putien is at the Pecenongan area where we could find many authentic foods there. Last time i went there with my family, we were ordered quiet alot menus there start from fried taro taste sweet, sesame bun filled with shredded meat either chicken or pork. others variant main course as usual chinese cuisine. Allover, foods are good, very tasty, and they served quiet fast to the table. i may say they have nice service
