Why you will love it ❤
1. The classics I usually order: salmon maki, chuka wakame gunkan, inari tuna salad, lobster salad gunkan and aburi salmon roll if I am feeling super hungry.
2. Great service.
3. The place is newly renovated I believe, albeit smaller I think they rearranged it so the capacity is bigger (?) and the interior is cozy.

What could be improved 🙏🏼
Sushi Tei is famous for their queues. But then again, this is a testament to their quality right?

Why you will love it ❤
1. The duck is perfectly cooked. Does not smell weird (actually smells rather amazing with the sambal and everything). It is tender and fall of the bone fantastic. Bebek rempah pedas is good if you like your duck spicy and mozarella for you who are a bit adventurous has plenty of chilli but somehow the mozarella is not as much as the picture/influencer photos but… still good!
2. Free refill ice tea/green tea, girl you are gonna need it! This is super spicy so refillable drinks is a dream come true.
3. Like the sambal pencit here! Tangy but not overwhelmingly spicy, great paired with the duck.

What could be improved 🙏
1. Would be great if they do not use plastic containers for drinks.
2. The Sambal Korek lacked flavour - was expecting a bit of sweetness to balance the spiciness.

Why you will love it ❤
1. Chicken Teriyaki is loveeee. I am a creature of habit: I like the same thing and I have a tendency to not want to move on from things I love #lahcurhat. So I always order this dish, almost always when I go to Genki Sushi because it has the perfect combination between crispiness of the chicken yet still find a way to be juicy and that sauce which is the right amount of savoury and sweet.
2. I also like the Ika Maruyaki! Not fishy and quite nicely cooked with the sauce slathered that brings out the taste of the squid.
3. Great service! They refilled our ocha without us asking and patiently answered all of our questions.
4. Using a tablet to order, so that is always fun and efficient.
5. Various branches available, great that they are expanding!
6. Love the salmon sushi as well, they are fresh.
7. Seared Egg with Pollock Roe is also my favourite, because the egg is perfectly cooked and has just a hint of sweetness.

What could be improved 🙏🏼
1. A little on the pricier side for sushi, however, this is worth it.
2. The pannacota was not very pannacota, that tasted more like pudding. I wish they just advertised it as pudding, so my expectations were met :’)
3. I did not enjoy Inari Spicy Salmon too much, I think the spicyness did not compliment the salmon too much and each element tried to shine on its own, like a boyband full of Zayn Malik and all of them wanted to do solo.
4. The chicken teriyaki could do with a bit more sauce, I have had branches with sauce that is more generous. I don't expect the sauce to be overflowing but a bit more generous on the sauce never hurt 😉, just a bit more would make the dish perfect!

Why you will love it ❤
1. The interior design of this coffee shop is unique, there is a terrace overlooking outsixe where there are lots of wonderful plants
2. If you're in the mood to have a laid-back day with family or alone time, this place is a great destination
3. Really friendly and fast responding baristas and waiters
4. Great, GREAT, pempek. Who knew a bistro serves one of the best pempek around Cirendeu area? We have tried a lot of pempek specialized parlor around the area and we found the greatest one yet in a bistro.

What could be improved 🙏
1. The blend of the espresso is a bit too bitter for me. Maybe it's ristretto, lower grade of beans or they specialize in making milk-type coffee beverage to give an extra jolt. I didn't expect much from the coffee though, since being a bistro is their brand
2. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud indoors, would really appreciate a quiet yet still slow nice music in the background
3. Would really appreciate if they give more cuko for the Pempek

Why you will love it ❤
1. The ayam bakar… you gotta order it here! It is super flavourful even when you order the chicken breast the seasoning goes all the way to the middle of the chicken that is rich in flavour with a bit of that smokiness which is always a treat.
2. The sate padang is next level here! The downside is sometimes they run out/don’t make it. Be sure to order it here. The sauce is fantastic and the satay is nice and tender.
3. There is a large door which is quite aesthetic actually, not typically found in a Padang restaurant.

What could be improved 🙏
1. Sometimes the food here is too salty (not all the time, just every now and then), which is a shame because their seasoning is often on point. Consistency could be improved.
2. The staff sometimes miscalculate the food which happened quite a few times during my visit.
3. Parking slot is available for for two cars only.

Why you will love it ❤
1. RENDANGGGGG. Enough said. Whether it is meat or chicken the rendang will make you come back to this place over and over and over again. I used to think BBC’s nomination of Rendang as the best food in the world was a bit too much (it’s great, but there are other food also worth-mentioning) but when I tasted Pagi Sore’s rendang… I believed it.
2. Ayam goreng has a nice spicy soy sauce flavour do make sure to order it while it is hot!
3. Free-flow rice, you are gonna need it if you eat Padang (Palembang) food this good!
4. Nice aircon restaurant.
5. Plenty of parking, though during peak hours it is usually full.

What could be improved 🙏
The waiter/waitresses to table ratio perhaps could be improved. While the Pagi Sore in Cipete is more responsive compared to other branches, it is a bit annoying to ask for the same menu/beverages again and again. With that being said, the service despite the large number of customers is still great and pretty responsive and attentive.

Why you will love it ❤
1. The hazelnut flavour is strongggg. You will love it. Combined with a chocolatey flavour which makes the drink taste super awesome. This is the kind of drink which will make a bad day great and a great day perfect. The equivalent of Ferrero Rocher in drink flavour, just lovely! I have tasted this in various branches, and while the thai tea varies among different branches the Hazelnut Chocolate tastest the same across the branches I have tasted.
2. Reasonable price.
3. Dum Dum is everywhere, yas!

Hopefully Hazelnut Chocolate is not just a seasonal menu, we need this every day!
