    Padang meets Japanese indeed

    First time eating padang food with japanese style!!

    Actually it wasn't so bad! I imagined the taste was kinda meeehh, but they proved me I was wrong.

    I order tamago balado roll, cheesy cheese beef donburi, gulai ramen and for the dessert I choose ovomaltine taiyaki 😀

    My favourite was the cheesy donburi! It was so cheesy and yummy. (I am a cheesy fans). Unfortunately the ramen wasn't that good enough, I personally didn't like the taste, but maybe for some people they will love it haha.

    I disappoint with the taiyaki, it was so small with high price. The taste itself was quite good actually, but, for me it wasn't that special for me to do the repeat order.

    The service is quite good but they should really separate the smoking area with non-smoking area. It is quite bother the people who want to have a good experience in the restaurant.

    Well, one thing for sure, this restaurant really change my mind about the combination between padang and japanese!

    JJ Royal Brasserie [ Karet Kuningan, Barat ]

    Unique place to hangout

    First, the interior is unique.
    Second, I love how they designed the whole place with a woman in traditional dress from several countries.
    Third, I love the foods!

    We order several types of fried rice, because I just love JJ's Fried Rice haha.
    I forgot the name but well, it is a fried rice (nasi goreng), everyone love Nasi Goreng isn't it? 😁

    The tea is so charming with the beautiful cup and comfortable chair. I promised I will go there and try the cakes for sure, because the cakes are so charming! 😊😊😊

    The price quite high for me, but it's worth to try.

    St. Ali [ Setiabudi, Kafe ]

    New Coffee Shop in town

    Went to St Ali with my friends and got the white coffee with cherry crumble.

    This shop is a MUST to go, because they served several unique coffee to the customers.

    Although, I was disapointed with st ali service, well, I need to order the same drinks and foods forth times before the barista told the kitchen. They also give us a no smile service which makes us feels so dissapointed.

    At last, our orders were out! I like the taste of st ali's coffee, it's a little too pricey though.
    The winner was cherry crumbe pie!
    I like its taste 😀

    Overall, the barista on st ali were fashionable and have to smile more!
    Try to bring more good service to the customers. ;)

    Cassis [ Tanah Abang, Eropa ]

    Great Ambience, Great Service and Great Food

    Cassis Kitchen is the great fine french restaurant in Jakarta

    I love the atmosphere, it kinda brings me to another different world with the interior, ambience, and foods (of course)!

    I order the infamous caramelized duck, pan seared salmon, one pasta (I forgot the name!), with banana choco sphere as the dessert.

    As for the taste I love Salmon the best, for me the caramelized duck is not as special as I imagined to be, but it is so tasty I must admit. The pasta is kinda like ordinary, however, it keeps me to want more and more. The infamous banana choco sphere, I must admit, this was the reason I came to Cassis! Surprisingly, it is not into my liking, it's sweet and tasty but not that great.

    As a starter, we got raspberry sorbet (if I recall correctly, this is the name. Pardon me if I'm wrong) well, this one is my favorite. It sweet and fresh. Note: this one is Free of Charge!

    The one that really amuse me is the service in Cassis. They always ready to help us in every occasion with smile in their face!!

    I recommend cassis for you out there who want to get a great experience in french restaurant. 😊😊😊
    Psst, We got another sweet gift in the end!
