this new addition to jakarta's coffee culture, had my attention after seeing that is quite close to my office area eventho the road can be very punishing. Don't be surprised that the parking can be very tight and just a few available as on this road from 1 ruko and another is very tight. Anyway, they had 2 options of house blends. They said 1 fitted for hot and anothet for ice, but might as well can be for both hot and ice. I tried that they recommend for the hot one, well quite roasty in a good way. Not too strong for me in the morning but the milk needs to be a tad hotter. I'm sure they can tackle the warmness easily. They serve pastries too for your coffee's friend. and on my second visit, they did improve the hotness and i tried the second blend. honestly it suites me better than the other one (sorry for got the name. its the right one on the menu). When i was there, they still don't have special smoking area except outside the door. Good news to non smokers right.. ooh and they are pet friendly as long as you put them on leash and take care of the cleanliness. 

This place can be consider remote. For people who don't travel to northern part, it can be difficult to reach. Even though now i'm gettin more familiar to northern part, but this area is totally new for me. Luckily pin point in google maps were accurate. At the time i arrived, the place already swarming with cars but parking still available. I imagined in school day it will be very packed for sure. As i enter, i only see couple of donuts and other pastries but not that many of choices. However i opt for the pistachio donut and not a bad choice afterall, even afterwards i found out that they have salted egg croissant. Maybe for next time. And i tried their honey cinnamon latte which i think for serious drinker or for leisure drinker is still suitable for both world. You get the fresh cinnamon taste yet the pulled espresso still gave you a kick. Good combo. i think they are promoting heavier menu to bite, so check back for what is available. 

I noticed that in this road section, they are the only place that serve specialty coffee. And fortunately i spent days staying in the nearby hospital in the area. Well during my lunch break i visited them for my daily cup of coffee. At that time, they use single origin papua, which to me was on point in taste, and the acidity that still within my tolerance. Being there during lunch break i decided to have something to nibble, and as usual, my opt went to their banana bread. At first i was getting upset because the waiting time for the banana bread was long meanwhile the banana bread was already there in the display rack. But actually they toast it again to when they serve it to you, it still warm and you'll get that extra crispness on the edges. Good call. It was a nice quick experience, and will be back during break again. Oh...they do served other menus instead of just lite bites.  

This place is somehow a bit hidden from the main road of rukos in PIK. Having that said, still parking can be a difficult part to have. Anyway, with vintage chic Mediterranean styling, it sort of quite a looking from the entrance. To chat, to hang out sure is comfy even for 1 ruko size. Though its name consist of invitation to have a coffee, for me i prefer to try their healthty juice and some scone for my day opener. The juice consist of some secret ingredients but they asure me its refreshing. And yea i must say it was. The scones was alright. Served with jam dan butter sure is enough for me and not overwhelming. Well, good enough to have breakfast here around PIK as they open their door as early as 7:30. 

​i must say, its easy to locate this shop due to its yellow door. You can easily park in front of the house but you'll know when its full house because if the parking is full then that is the sign. The feel in this place is more like a getaway house with coffee as your companion. the cappucino was good for me. Its smooth and the foam was thick and stable all the way down till bottom. With one of the kind rocket espresso machine, it still deliver a balanced coffee. If u need more info about ur cup or anything else, just buzz the friendly barista behind the bar who apparently like photography too. On other occasion I did get the chance to try their ice salted caramel latte. My first impression was foamy in a good way, well unlike any other cold coffee bevereges. The sweetness a tad too sweet but i supposed its a good company during sunny days. It wont be difficult i guess for them to be notice here compare to couples of coffee shop that already set their foot in the neighborhood. cheers guys!!

 ​Low key coffee shop in kemang. This is my tag for this place. Well, kemang usually identic wit glamour or hype place isn't it? But this one surprisingly is under the radar eventho they serve good coffee and nice lite bites. Don't worry about beans selection as they prep 2-3 selections beans from local or abroad and when they served me latte with Tanzania beans it brought up little hint of sweetness in fragrant and taste with mild acidity gives a fine character to it. Certainly fit my shoe this one. And i was drawn to the cold brew thai tea from the display fridge in front. I thought how will the taste like for a thai tea using cold brew method. At first i doubt it as they don't serve ice. What good thai tea without ice? It turns out ice may ruin the whole taste so just chillin it is enough. Well that is my thought anyway, cause it tasted delightful even not icy cold. One of the best i ever had. In the end, i had it for take away too but make sure to keep it chill or the composition will ruined. Finally i have my fav spot in kemang.

As a Jakarta's citizen, the food and drinks here consider very affordable and yet its taste isn't dissapointing. eventho i only tried their choco brownies with ice cream and cappuccino hopefully the rest will have the same quality. i'm not sure if location can be consider prime one because its not really on the main road but still close from the Toll road from Jakarta.
as i discover more, they had their beans from morph coffee with their own blend style. the result is a balanced coffee, light body and delight after taste. so combine those with the brownies ice cream, you get a nice coffee shop experience. with great value for money compare to jakarta, this place is my fav spot so far in bogor amongst other modern cafe here.

I happen to hear this place a lot but its location makes it hard for me to visit as weekdays for sure there is bad jam. As everbody knows they happen to roast themself and supply beans to other coffee shop as well. You'll be greeted by their machine from the moment you open their door. With industrialistic theme, the ambience quite gloomy and that made it very interesting if you want to take picture. At that time i was served with sumatran beans named kerinci. It was fit for me from the body till after taste And i tried their milk pie too. Need a tad sweeter but overall still fine. Maybe its just me that like sweetness. It happened that next door is one of my client's place, so i'll invite them for a cup next time and maybe their breakfast too..

Those who like baked goods, jakarta has new petite shop in Gading area. And on top of that, they served a few menu for brunch as well. I had their green tea latte with the brownies. Well lets just say i enjoy my me time with it and can spend hours more. Location may not be ideal for big party to come in but its good for those who like to be alone and just enjoying their food. They have varieties in their goods if not daily, so make sure to check with them for what is baking today.
