So on the Friday night, I visited GIA for the first time for dinner. The interior is cozy with a dimly lighting across the restaurant. The waiter greeted me and brought me to my table. On the table there was some tableware like fork and knife along with the sherbet and also a spring of rosemary (maybe for extra fragrance haha).
I chose Arancini Cacio e Pepe for appetizer, and San Danielle & Burrata Pizza for my main. The arancini is served on a little pan, consist of 5 pcs. Arancini is a fried Risotto ball filled with mozzarella cheese that is really popular in Italy for snack. It was really delicious tho.
For the pizza, it was served with generous amount of San Danielle prosciutto and also burrata cheese served with tomato sauce. I really love it because of it's flavour and texture. That's how Italian pizza should be done.
The Executive Chef Tommaso Gonfiantini came out to greet me and he said that he would make a complimentary dessert for me which I happily agreed. And it turned out to be the classic Italian dessert Tiramisu served on a martini glass. The tiramisu was light and not overpowering, with a right amount of flavour and sweetness. Perfect.
Dining at GIA was a good experience, the food was delicious and also the staffs were also friendly. Will come back to GIA again next time to try the other menu.
