Set menu valentine yg super ga enak

Pas valentine makan disini. Ga memberikan kesan oke sama skali.
Pertama soal wc. Ga ada perbedaan gender buat wc nya. Jd kondisi lg ada event gitu kan rame orang ya, buat resto sekelas begini ga wajar si klo kebersihannya ga terjaga. Weks!

Kedua soal makanan, sumpah judulnya set menu valentine. Tp bnran sorry to say, GA ENAK

heran jg set menu begitu brani dipatok mahal.
Balik lagi kesini?ogah. Buang2 duit bgt.

Saking ga enaknya, dessert nya ga abis tuh. Cuman mood da keburu ilang jd fotopun males.

Why you will love it ❤
1. The best dish of the night was Crispy Potato Pave. At a glance, even though the dish has a beautiful presentation, it looks simple. But once you taste it, it's an epitome of a dish that highlights the magnificent taste of each ingredient. Eat it whole in one bite to obtain the perfect experience! The potato stacks adds an interesting element of crunch, spicy beef tartare is just a bit spicy to add that slight kick and black caviar on top. This is the dish that love songs are inspired by. It's exquisite, intriguing and and definitely an experience you will never forget.
2. Carpaccio Al Tarturo looks lovely, but it tastes even better than it looks. With beef tenderloin, black truffle and garlic roasted aoli the dish manages to feature the balance of taste of all ingredients. It has even a slightly cheesy taste, but nope it's actually the garlic! The truffle is also quite generously given on this dish. Italy on a plate.
3. Funghi E Pepperoni. What makes it special is the dough has rested for two days, this allows the yeast to work on itself and won’t trouble our stomach. The dough is served with beef pepperoni, mushroom meddley and mozzarella. Since the chef is always going around the restaurant to talk with the guests, now we know the right way to eat pizza! Eat with your hands, fold it, eat the topping and a bit of the crust so you get a nice balance.
4. Seafood Linguine Piccanti is made of chili linguine, clams, mussels, prawns with spicy pink sauce. They keep it simple here so it’s all about making sure the ingredients are the star and skillful cooking technique that shows off the taste of great ingredients.
5. Cotoletta Ala Torinese is a bit on the saltier side, but turns out that is because they add a sprinkle of sea salt on top. It’s chicken cutlet using turkey ham and provolone cheese. The pasta uses angel hair, but for all the menu here you could request if you would prefer another kind of pasta instead. The angel hair pasta is rich in truffle flavour, but I think it would be interesting to see this dish with another kind of pasta. One of the favourites in this restaurant.
6. For drinks, the Mediterraneo was delicious. That combo between kiwi, passion fruit, cranberries and sparkling water is refreshing. It's quite sour, so if you prefer your drinks sweet, do order something else. But if you like it sour and refreshing this is it!
7. For desserts, I had Tiramisu Classico and Affogatto Alla Nutella. Tiramisu is great if you do not like dishes that are too overwhelmingly sweet. Affogatto Alla Nutella is better if you enjoy sweet fudge brownies, paired with hazelnut semifreddo and espresso crema inglese. If you like both, order both. Life is too short to not enjoy two desserts in a meal, no?
8. Service is friendly, attentive and the staff can explain the menu well. Always appreciate restaurants that train their team well. The warm staff really ensures you to be spoiled and enjoy a fine-dining experience, including the chef who often comes around the tables asking how you find the dishes.
9. Lovely ambience, it’s classy and elegant, a reflection of the food and service they have here.
10. For thursday, friday and saturday they have live music. The restaurant is closed on sunday, so plan your visit accordingly.

What could be improved 🙏
1. The greeter in front should always be present. When I entered, seems like he/she was busy. Since the restaurant is on the higher-end, the greeter to direct guests to the seat would be fantastic.
2. Seafood Linguine Piccanti tastes beautiful. With that being said, the pasta was a bit on the oily side. Turns out, this is the oil from the seafood (which is great because all that flavours, yum!), but you can request to reduce the oiliness here, so don’t worry about that. We like the flavour, but if it were less oily, would have been even better.
3. For us, Cotoletta Ala Torinese was already good even without the little sprinkle of salt on top. Do request for sea salt on the side (if you would like to add a bit of salt on top), so you can control the saltiness level yourself.
4. The price is a bit higher here, but this is a fine-dining experience, and if you take into account the ambience, service and of course the fantastic food, every Rupiah you spend here is worth it. It’s not just eating, but an experience you will always remember.

Best dining experience ever

GIA is located at Ground Floor of South Tower Sampoerna Strategic Square. I was having a great dining experience here with fellow foodies last Tuesday night. GIA is one of restaurant from ISMAYA Group. The moment from I entered the restaurant, I feel that excellent service from the staff. No doubt, so far, never had bad experience with service from Ismaya group restaurant.
When I came, the restaurant was not so crowded.
I really enjoyed the ambience as well as the food from GIA.
As informed by the chef, everything at GIA is freshly made. No wonder if the price is considered high. It is all worth it, guys.


Crispy Potato Pave
This could be one of great choice for your appetizer.
The topping doesnt taste like a raw beef, it was juicy and kinda spicy. Well marinated.  This should be eaten in one go.

Piadina Al Pomodoro
This dish is DABOMB. Seriously. The sliced tomatoes were perfectly marinated, I didnt even taste tomatoes flavour, which is good. The tomatoes texture were so soft and the taste was well combined with cream cheese. PERFECT!

Marinara Bresaola
This Pizza is kinda unique as they put potato chips as the topping. The chips was yummy and crunchy and well seasoned. I couldnt stop eat this lol. The marinara sauce was one of the best i have ever eaten.

Gnocchi Alla Bolognese
Major love with this dish. Can I have more? lol.
The highlight here was the Gnocchi. Omg it was so soft yet so fluffy in the same time. When the sauce was made from short ribs ragu combined with pumpkin and completed with salsa verde. The short ribs was simply amazing! The executive chef told us that instead using minced meat, theh prefer to slice the short to keep the great texture of the meat. And yeah, it gave us another sensation in enjoying the sauce. Meat was super tender and fragrant. Also, not to forget the crunchiness of the cheese on top. This dish really gave us so many texture in one plate.  Omg, i dont know how to describe it further. It was simply perfect.

Cotoletta Alla Torinese
Well actually this one is deep fried breaded chicken filled with ham and provolone. The chicken was really crunchy on the outside and soo juicy in the inside. Provolone cheese was yummy and gave another taste to the chicken and ham. While for the pasta, they used angel hair pasta and it tasted great. The truffle sauce was soooo good.

White Truffle Panna Cotta
One of the best Panna Cotta I have ever eaten. I swear. The texture was sooo soft. Pistachio nutella tasted amazing. Not too sweet and the pistachio flavour gave another sensation. Perfect!

Apple Tarte Tatin
Served with vanilla creme and cognac flambe. Such an honour Chef Tommaso was the one who served the cognac flambe on that night. I love the combination between apple and cognac, vanilla cream balanced all the flavour.

For the drink, I ordered Mediterraneo. Kiwi, Cranberries, Passion Fruit and Sparkling Water combination made this drink so refreshing!

Well overall, i have no complaint towards the food. GIA really let me had the best dining experience.

Awesome italian food

Senang banget bisa berkesempatan untuk mencoba menu baru yang akan launching di GIA Restaurant ini. Restoran yang masih satu grup dengan Ismaya ini spesialisasinya adalah Italian Food, dimana chefnya sendiri adalah orang Italia. Saya datang kesini weekend malam, disarankan sih reservasi dulu supaya tidak kena waiting list. Tempatnya bagus dan suasananya juga menyenangkan. Menu yang saya coba : 

Welcome Bread -Focaccia : disajikan dgn pesto dan satunya lagi sprti whipped butter(kalau tdk salah). Rotinya empuk sekali dan saus pestonya juga enak, ketika seluruhnya dimakan berbarengan,wah enak.

I CHICCETI -Crispy Potato Pave : baiknya dimakan dgn tangan supaya dalam satu gigitan bisa dapat semua rasanya. Menu ini wow banget rasanya. Kentangnya enak, digoreng sampai crispy tapi lembut di dalam. Utk beef tartare sih pertama kali coba, ga nyangka sih kalau ini raw beef yang dimarinate, enak dan ga amis. Sangat recommended hidangan yang ini.

GLI ANTIPASTI -Piadina Al Pomodoro : tak disangka hidangan ini bahan utamanya adalah tomat. Jujur ga suka tomat utuh,cuma bs makan kalau sudah jadi bumbu, tapi ini enak sekali. Basenya crispy crackers,lalu ad cream cheesenya juga, jadi sprti makan pizza tapi lebih ga ngenyangin dan ga heavy, recommended banget. Ada versi vegannya juga loh utk menu ini.

LA PIZZA -Marinara Bresaola : pizza ini menggunakan beef bresaola, yaitu daging yang dikeringkan selama jangka waktu tertentu (cured beef). Rasanya asin dan biasanya dipotong menjadi lembaran tipis. Baru pertama kali mencoba juga beef bresaola ini, dan buat saya dagingnya asin soalnya sempat nyicip dagingnya saja, tapi begitu dimakan dengan pizza dan toping lainnya baru lebih pas.

LA PASTA -Bottarga Crown Ravioli : ravioli dgn isian sea bass mousseline, salah satu menu favorit saya malam itu. Isiannya full dan enak sekali, ikannya lembut dan ga amis, lalu sausnya agak sdikit pedas asam, enak sekali!

-Smoked Gnocchetti Sardi in a Jar : simpel tapi rasanya wow. Gnocchinya homemade warna warni, jadi saat mau disajikan jarnya dikocok dulu supaya tercampur semuanya, kemudian diberikan parutan kacang walnut. Rasanya ga bgitu creamy sehingga ga eneg, saya suka sih. Lalu ad parutan kacang walnut yang tnyata jadi ad tekstur garingnya di makanan ini.

-Apple Tarte Tartin : setiap penyajian dessert ini bakal ada pertunjukan api karena ada cognag flambe yang disiram ke dessert ini sebelum dimakan. Rasanya manis asam, utk manisnya ga over sih jadinya enak. Sausnya vanilla cream inglese yang ad rasa2 alkohol dari cognac flambe tadi, yaampun ini sausnya enak banget sampe kita kerokin habis.

-Cheese Cake (lupa namanya) : beruntung sekali bs mencicipi menu ini karena menu ini belum dirilis(soon to be) dan chefnya membuatkan buat kita supaya kita bisa icip2. Agak lupa isiannya ap, tapi ad cream cheese(tentunya), raspberry sauce, pine nuts, almond, biscuit crumble,sisanya lupa hehe. Penampilannya seperti deconstructed cheesecake dan harus dimakan dalam sekali suap supaya bisa merasakan semua teksturnya komponen dessert ini. Gila sih, ini enak banget, mau nangis saking enaknya. Rasanya ga pengen sharing kalau makan dessert ini, patut dicoba kalau sudah rilis!

Utk minum saya direkomendasikan La vita e’ bella(Black Grape, Cranberries, Fresh Lemon Juice, Orgeat Syrup, Mint Leaves) dan Malena(pineapple puree with honey & blackpepper). Utk yang malena mirip pineapple juice rasanya, kalau yang satunya saya ga coba.

Overall menurut saya makanannya ga ad yang failed, enak2 semua! Suasananya enak, pelayanannya ramah2 dan menguasai menu, dan disini juga ad Live Music setiap hari Kamis-Sabtu mulai jam 10 malam. Oh iya, saat saya datang hari sabtu ini juga ad free flow Gin & Phonics dimulai dari jam 6 malam. Bakal kembali kesini lagi tentunya, sangat puas dengan makanannya!

Fine dining

Just couldn’t get enough for the food.. awesome Italian food.. nice interior so cozy and free flow drink from Wednesday until Saturday.. kitchens are very clean also had 2nd floors for vip.

Starting with the antipasti..

The name’s of the food very long “ piadina croccante, vintello, parmigiano e tartufo “ must be wonder what’s is it.. it’s actually like a crispy cracker with some of ingredients of black pepper veal tenderloin, cheese and white truffle oil.. recomended!!! First bike just make me fall in love with the awesome taste..

The other dish is pappa di pomodoro, podomoro means tomatoes.. a classic soup ate with bread.. it was tasty and healthy tho..

For those who love pizza so much..
here I’d recomend you the San Daniella & burata.. so crispy outside with some ham, mozarella, burata & basil.. the ham is the besttt, slides very thin & tender..

And if you like the sweet one “pizza Nutella” is the best choose.. I’d never ate pizza Nutella aswell but this is just awesome tasty.. top with Nutella, peanut butter, fresh peanut and maldon salt.. also this is limited edition only for Friday!!! So mark it please..

Next is pasta.. the black pasta is homemade everyday.. why is black ? Because the using quid ink, mixed with some chili, Molica and tomatoes.. super good but be careful a little spicy.

For you who like fish.. this is must be suit with you the salmon gratino is totally juicy and couldn’t get enough..

Dessert lovers don’t ever skip this one, the affogato alla nocciola, got some brownies, ice cream halzebut semifreddo and espresso coffee.. so good!!! Also tiramisu Classico is sweet and lovely..

Kali ini dapat kesempatan untuk nyobain menu2 baru yg bakalan launching di GIA Jakarta.

Suasananya sendiri nyaman dan pelayanannya juga memuaskan.

Kali ini gw nyobain beberapa menu barunya, yaitu :

-Tartare Potato Pave
Beef tartare on crispy potatoes with black caviar. Love it. Beef tartarenya empuk dan rasanya manis dicampur kentang yang ms crispy. Yummm

-Vitello Tonnato
58 degree veal, tuna sauce, capers, and caviar. Yang suka beef carpaccio pasti suka jg menu satu ini. Mirip2 cm beda di sauce nya. Creamy, tapi ada asem2nya, dan jg ada rasa manis dari daging sapi mudanya. Tuna nya sendiri jg fresh bgt.

-Tagliatelle al Tartufo
Homemade dry porcini tagliatelle, truffle cream. Bagi pecinta truffle harus coba menu satu ini. Truffle creamnya berasa bgt n wangi, tapi gw merasa pastanya agak sedikit ketebelan.

-Bone Marrow Spaetzle
Spinach spaetzle, roasted bone marrow, hazelnut brown butter, and beer crudo. Pas liat penampakannya mirip sm cendol. Baru pertama kali ini nyobain pasta dipadu sm bone marrow. Rasanya enak! Gurih... Buttery... Dan ada crumbnya garing2. One of my fav!

-Sea Bass Cartoccio
Chilean sea bass en papillote, caramelized onions with italian parsley purée. Ikan sea bass nya fresh dan lembut banget. Pas dimakan kaya lumer di mulut. Sama sekali gk amis. Bagi gw yg kurang doyan sama parsley, untung bgt krn rasa parsley purée nya gak begitu medok.

-Apple Tarte Tatin
Apple tart, cognac flambé, vanilla crema inglese. Saat penyajiannya ada sedikit atraksi, krn apple tartnya akan diguyur dengan brandy yang di flambé. Rasa segar dr apel, manis, dan ada rasa pahitnya juga. Bagi yang gk gt suka dessert yg terlalu manis, harus coba menu satu ini. Rasa keseluruhannya balance antara apple tart, cognac n vanillanya. Melo likey!

Tiramisunya cukup light dan manisnya gk over. Jadi gk bkin enek sampai suapan terakhir.

Btw, GIA ada Live music loh.
Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday start from 10 pm. Cocok bgt bagi yang suka dengerin music jazz, nongkrong n nyantai2 bareng teman dan pasangan sambil minum wine/alcohol lainnya.

Dan mereka jg ada promo :
Thursday: Thirsty Thursday (free flow wine)
Friday: Pizza & Martini (free flow pizza & martini)
Saturday: Gin & Phonics (free flow gin tonic)

Overall gw puas dengan makanan, suasana dan pelayanannya. I will be back soon!

GIA fans, ada menu baru yang about to be launched. Tenang saja, walau belum ada di menu, sudah bisa kalian pesan jika dine in di sana.

Menunya sebagai berikut (ditulis sesuai urutan saat dihidangkan. Jadi ada urutan makanan niy dalam Italian culinary)

Welcome bread: focaccia
Jika kalian memesan menu main course (I Secondi) maka akan mendapat welcome bread: focaccia.

Hidangan small bites yang bisa dijadikan teman minum. Yang dihidangkan pada kami adalah:
-Tartare Potato Pave
Beef tartare & black caviar on crispy potatoes
Disarankan makan gak lama setelah dihidangkan & dicomot saja dengan tangan, lebih nikmat.

Baru deh masuk ke appetizer & yang dihidangkan adalah:
-Vitello Tonnato
58 degree veal, tuna sauce, capers, and caviar.
Aduh dagingnya lembut bener, tambah lagi dgn creamy tuna sauce...

MAIN COURSE terbagi:
Bisa pasta atau pizza dalam hidangan utama ini, dan kami menikmati sbb:
-Tagliatelle al Tartufo
Homemade dry porcini tagliatelle , truffle cream.
Pasta time! Ini pertama kali mencoba tagliatelle... temen2 makan pada sepakat pastanya rada gede.

-Bone Marrow Spaetzle
Spinach spaetzle, roasted bone marrow, hazelnut brown butter, beef crudo.
Melihat warnanya yang hijau dan baca spinach, yang terbayang adalah... pasta rasa sayur. Looks can be deceiving. Dan yang saya kira roti ternyata yaaa bone marrow...
Paling sukaaak yang iniiii... paling gurih & yummy, IMHO.

Bagian dari main course, hidangannya mengandung berbagai macam daging seperti ikan, ayam.
Yang kami nikmati adalah:
-Sea Bass Cartoccio
Chilean sea bass en papillote, caramelized onions, Italian parsley purée.
Saya gak pernah gak suka sama menu ikan. Ikan sea bass nya fresh dan gak adalah itu bau amis.
Italian parsley purée bikin tambah nikmat menu main course ini.

Meledak yaaaa... Akhirnya kita masuk ke dessert atau I DOLCI
-Apple Tarte Tatin
Apple tart, cognac flambé, vanilla crema inglese.
WaH apple tart on fire! Itulah saat cognac flambé dituangkan ke apple tart. Cocok buat yang ingin menikmati dessert tapi gak suka yang terlalu manis.

Bukan menu baru sih, tapi dessert favorit, favorit saya pastinya. Walau manis tapi dijamin gak akan bikin kalian eneg.

Untuk minuman saya pesan juice mangga yang bikin seger.

Suasana di dalam khas restoran group Ismaya, penerangan yang gak jreng banget alias temaram. Pas ke sana sedang ada yang merayakan ulangtahun jadi ramai beud.

Pelayanannya bagus, kami diterangkan mengenai menu makanannya. Makanan juga gak pakai menunggu lama untuk dinikmati.

Setiap hari hingga Sabtu ada event2 termasuk live music. Hari Minggu tutup dan ada jam2 buka jadi pastikan dulu kehadiran kalian ya. Reservasi direkomendasikan. Enjoyable experience banget deh.

Salah satu member Ismaya group, Italian restaurant yang berlokasi di lobby sampoerna strategic square, kebetulan saya kesini saat dinner dan ini adalah beberapa menu GIA yang saya cicipi antara lain :

Rice croquette yang dibuat bulat bulat dan diisi dengan parmigiano dan pecorino cheese. Pas digigit rasanya pecah bangett, kejuny meleleh. Makannya pake cocolan gorgonzola sauce. Enaakk banget sebagai makanan pembuka. Recommended!
• Burrata pugliese
Burrata adalah nama keju yang berasal dari kota pugliese, Italia. Nah menu ini memang menonjolkan di burratanya. Awalnya saya kira putih on top itu adalah putih telur ternyata kejuuu 😅 menu ini mungkin semacam salad karena disajikan dengan heirloom tomatoes dan pesto basil sauce. Menu ini juga favorite saya.
• Quattro formaggi & tartufo pizza
Pizza dengan topping 4 macam jenis keju yaitu gorgonzola, parmesan, mozarella dan pecorino cheese ditambah truffle oil, pine dan telur omega 3. Pizza ini super lezaat, trufflenya berasa banget, must order klo kesinii.
• Ricotta e capanota pizza
Pizza dengan topping ricotta cheese, mozarella, eggplant, red n yellow capsicum caponata dan basil. Pizza ini juga lumayan lezat tapi saya kurang suka karena ada sedikit rasa asam karena ada campuran caponatanya.
• Pappardele al ragu bolognese
Homemade pappardele pasta yang dimasak dengan bolognese sauce yang berisi campuran wagyu short ribs ragout, parmigiano and chives. Suka banget sama pasta ini, ald dente dan rasa bolognese saucenya juga menyatu sempurna dengam wagyu short ribs ragoutnya. Lezat!
• Linguini piccanti allo scoglio rose
Pasta linguine dimasak menggunakan spicy pink sauce dengan campuran clams, mussel, prawn and baby squid
• Affogato alla nocciola
Ini menurupakan menu dessert, chocolate brownies dengan topping hazelnut semifredo ice cream dan espresso coffee.
• Tiramisu classico
Classic tiramisu yang disajikan dalam gelas cocktail dan diberi cream diatasnya bertuliskan GIA, keewwl!
Overall sangat puas dinner disini, ambiencenya fancy dan bagus banget apalagi buat romantic dinner, servicenya juga memuaskan mulai dari greeter hingga table service.

Weekday Dinner at GIA Jakarta

Diundang Ismaya Group untuk dinner di salah satu resto fine dining Italia, yaitu GIA. Ini merupakan kunjungan kedua gue ke GIA setelah sebelumnya pernah datang untuk Christmas dinner. Kebetulan pas ke sini lagi weekday, jadi ga begitu ramai, dan kalau mau dine in ga perlu reservasi dulu.
Selain di Jakarta, ada GIA Dubai juga loh yang baru buka tahun 2018. Keren nih Ismaya Group restonya ada yang buka franchise di luar negeri! Dan nama GIA sendiri berasal dari nama seorang model terkenal di Italia. Jadi, ga ada arti khusus yaa..

Yuk intip apa yang kami coba!

Otto e Mezzo
Untuk minuman, gue cobain dari salah satu mocktail yang merupakan campuran dari mangga, markisa, low fat yoghurt, dan chia seed. Tesktur minumannya kental, rasa lebih dominan mangga, ga asam dan ga terlalu manis. GIA sekarang udah menggunakan sedotan stainless juga loh. Dan ini pertama kalinya gue minum pakai sedotan ini. Rasanya yah belum biasa sih, malah kadang suka nabrak-nabrak gigi 😂

Cacio E Pepe Arancini with Gorgonzola Sauce
Berbentuk bulat digoreng dengan tepung yang isinya itu nasi croquette seperti risotto, keju parmigiano, keju pecarino, dan gorgonzola sauce alias blue cheese. Rasanya enak dan kejunya berasa banget.

Burrata Pugliese
Inilah appetizer yang menurut gue mewah. Jadi, burrata yang bewarna putih dipotong menjadi dua ini merupakan Italian cow milk cheese yang terbuat dari mozzarella dan cream. Kalau diliat mirip putih telur, teskturnya ini kombinasi padat dan lembek. Burrata berisi cream cheese dan ditaburi dengan chives, disajikan dengan tomat, caviar, dan saus pesto basil. Penyajiannya ini dingin, rasanya segar mirip kayak salad.

Quattro Formaggi & Tartufo Pizza
Terdiri dari enam slice pizza semi thin crust yang toppingnya terdiri dari gorgonzola, parmesan, mozzarella, pecorino, truffle oil, telur omega 3.Pizza inilah favorit kami. Truffle oilnya berasa banget.

Ricotta E Capanota Pizza
Enam slice pizza semi thin crust yang toppingnya ada keju ricotta, mozzarella, potongan terong, basil.

Pappardelle Al Ragu Bolognese
Pappardelle pasta yang bentuknya tebal dengan pinggirnya aga keriting disajikan dengan wagyu short ribs ragout, keju parmigiano, chives dengan saus bolognase.

Linguine Picanti Allo Scoglio Rose
Pasta linguine yang bentuknya mirip spagetti tapi lebih tebal, disajikan dengan kerang, udang, baby quid, dengan saus yang agak pedas. Buat seafood lovers, pasta ini enak daan seafoodnya fresh.

Affogato Alla Nocciola
Ini juga nih salah satu menu yang jadi favorit dan recommended, datangnya dari dessert! Cokelat brownies yang lembut disajikan dengan es krim hazelnut dan dituangkan dengan saus espresso.

Tiramisu Classico
Menu dessert ini mirip sama mousse teksturnya lembut terbuat dari tiramisu dan atasnya ditaburi dark chocolate, terus di bagian atasnya ditulis GIA berikut dengan lambangnya.

Amazing Dining Experience

After hearing many good reviews from my friends, i decided to visit this high end restaurant. The service was excellent & it has an amazing ambiance, cozy and modern 👌🏻

Few menus that i tried :
1. Salmone Gratino
Indeed, the highlight of the day. Salmon was baked perfectly. Perfect caramelization on the outside. The parmigiano & bechamel sauce was somehow rich but not overpowering the taste of the salmon itself.

2. Spaghetti Al Nero Alle Vongole
This black squid ink aglio e olio has a kick of spicy & garlic taste which i love, not too oily & you can taste the freshness from the ingredients. Well seasoned & pasta was cooked al dente

3. San Daniele & Burrata Pizza
What i love about this dish is the addition of basil, which brings freshness & aroma needed from the rich san daniele ham, mozzarela, and burrata cheese. The pizza was hand made woth traditional oven, such a rustic & humble pizza

4. Tiramisu Classico
Classic Italian Tiramisu. It has a rich & bold flavor of cocoa and coffee. A nice italian dessert for sure

5. Piadina Croccante, Vitello, Parmigiano e Tartufo
One of my favorite as well. Crunchy pladina cracker goes really well with veal tenderloin and white truffle oil, so aromatic ! The addition of parmigiano cheese gives the saltiness needed to the dish.

6. Pappa di Podomoro
Light & humble tomato soup with bread, basil, and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil on top of the soup. What a nice appetizer

7. Pizza Nutellarich
Sweet pizza is all i need ! Thin crust pizza with nutella, peanut butter, fresh peanuts, and maldon salt. I mean.. what to hate from this dish ? I ate two slices 😂 lmao

8. Affogato Alla Nocciola
This hazelnut semifreddo with espresso coffee & chocolate brownies is such a sweet and dessert. Perfect for the ending !

Overall i truly had a pleasant dining experience at GIA, will i come back ? Definitely, for sure ! What an amazing and sophisticated dinner i had at GIA :)
