Review Pelanggan untuk Lac Mei Che
Authentic Chinese food resto, particularly if you’re craving sichuan or hunan food. The portions were huge and dishes were abound in spices, msg, and oil lol😚. Don’t forget to reserve as they get quite packed!

麻婆豆腐Ma Po Dou Fu (78k) 7.5/10
Quite a faithful take on mapo tofu, can taste the doubanjiang (spicy fermented bean paste). They were very generous with the sichuan peppercorn and chili oil, so it might be too spicy depending on your heat tolerance.
芥蓝Steamed Kailan (68k) 6/10
Ordered this to get some green amidst all the oil and chillies. However, as per traditional Chinese dish, dish was super oily despite being steamed😛.
辣妹子烤鱼Grilled Fish (198k) 7/10
Served in huge deep-dish tray reminiscent of Chinese buffet alongside three sides (we picked tofu, caisim, and fishball). They gave us generous amount of cilantro, chili peppers, and peanuts. Unfortunately fish was not as fresh as I would have liked.
蚂蚁上树Ma Yi Shang Shu (78k) 6.5/10
Translated quirkily in English as ‘Ants Climbing a Tree’, this is a stir fried vermicelli with pork, named based how the ground pork clings to the noodles looked. The noodles used are mung bean based vs more common rice vermicelli. Similar taste to the mapo tofu, as this one incorporates doubanjiang and ground pork as well.
京酱肉丝Peking Shredded Pork with Tofu Skin (138k) 6/10
Pork strips fried with salty sweet bean sauce, meant to be wrapped with the tofu sheet alongside julienned cucumber (similar to Peking duck). Pork strip was rather thin and quite tough to chew. A bit too peppery vs the mainland version.
