Thanks to go food, which finally made me try this famous sandwich sub. Located far away from the house, and way beyond the location i often visit, makes me late to try this. And today i finally had a chance to try this as my dinner.

My Ordered was 1 Zesty Steak 9" with wheat bread and 1 Chicken Baja 6" with rosemary wheat bread alongside with their waffle fries. And i must say, i am satissfied with all the sandwich subs that i had, even hubby says it was yum. (My hubby never like wheat bread, even if it a plain wheat toast he wouldnt ate it. But Quiznos was too yum he even cant resist).

The portion was also super big, and we can choose how many part we want to divided our sandwich. I only able to finish 1 and half part of the sandwich while hubby had 2 parts of sandwich from total 8 cuts of our ordered. The zesty steak has rich flavor and a lil bit similar with philly cheese steak. But i must say it was my fave compare to the chicken baja. Waffle fries is also taste good, eventho is not as crisp as a dine in fries, i still can taste the rich herbs flavor of the fries. And yes, if you are a fan of sandwich subs. Do try this. Especially if you are familiar with the well known sandwich sub, "su**ay" you must have like quiznos.

Went there few days ago. I still remember the old days when mom and dad used to take me to this restaurant. But then, i thot the resto isn't exist until now, till i saw reviews from my fellow foodies.
So, as i passed Menteng, i decided to stop by, and bought food for takeways. I had Gohyong sapi while i was waiting for my food to be done. The gohyong is deff a bomb digity, the seasoning, the meat, the sambal was taste so good. I could kraaayy to tears
For the takeaways i bought mie goreng seafood, ayam nanking, sapo tahu, capcay, fuyung hai, and a portion of their shiumay. The food came in a big portion no wonder the price is not so cheap for a chinese food. But then again it is worth every pennies. All of the foods taste so good. Even i still had the sapo tahu during today's breakfast and it is still taste good after an overnight. Deff my new favorite chinese food resto.
Ps: they do serves pork, but the pork is not written in the menu. But i did make sure to the waiter that all the foods that i order must have to be halal

I have written my review about taichan at plaza senayan. And from that you may know that me and my parents have been eating taichan ramen since i was still in a kindergarten, bcs ps was really near to my school. And until now we keep eating taichan, loving the ramen and gyoza, as well as the rice set. Besides the ramen and gyoza my favo rice menu at taichan is their Beef teriyaki set. Taste good, tender meat and has rich seasoning. For ps i gave 4 as my rate, but for PIM only gave 3,5. Because the smoking area at PIM is so humid, and it is located inside a glass room so it is deff not friendly for a non smoker who has smokers companion like me

As asked by my friend, I went to queen's head lastnight. And i noticed this place is a recently open cafe and lounge at kemang. Walked inside the restaurant i was a lil bit surprised because the place is really big and spacious. The greeter asked me whether i want to have dining or just coffee. And they politely letting us know that the dining area is all non smoking. But if you want to have dinner at the lounge it is also welcome. Since we already had dine at our relatives house, so we just decided to have coffee and snack at the lounge. The lounge indeed is very spacious, they also have high ceiling to make the smoking area not humid. Then that a plus point for me. The place is also very comfortable. Spacious sofas with a nice modern touch of interior really caught my attention. The PR lady is also very nice, she came to my table talking a lot about the event that will being held's there, and sure yes she's a very friendly lady.

For the food i only had snack which was a carbon chicken (80k) a boneless chicken wings coated with black carbon flour that taste yum, there's a hint of spicy as well as cheese

underneath the chicken. And for drinks i had fresh juice mocktails 'digestion' (55k) which was the combination of apple, orange, and papaya perhaps, and it taste fresh. A friend of mine also had green juice which also taste good. Others only had ice cafe latte and beer.

Overall i had a nice experience, came at 8 pm and went back home at 1 am in the morning, talking and mingling a lot till i forgot the time. The bad points is just, my car stuck for half hour just to get out from the parking lot because it was saturday night and the place was too full. Other than that i will still coming back to queen's head to have dinner

My favorite "go-to" snack other than crepe.. i just like waffle as much as i like pancake. And when the hype of HK style waffle finally ada di Jakarta, jadi semakin sering beli. Selain ini ada satu vendor lg setau saya yg jual wafel semacam ini. And in my opion, 2'2 nya enak. Yesterday i had the black forest with cheese topping. So cute, warna nya hitam2 dan rasanya kaya oreo coklat. Tekstur waffle sendiri kaya gabungan kue cubit dan waffle, enak sih, cuma buat penyuka manis menurut saya sih kurang manis yah.

My favorite bakmie since i was a kid. Tho the location is not really close from the house, i still often go to bakmie alip just to eat their delicious and halal bakmi. The bakmie texture taste so so good. Their chicken topping and chicken broth are also yummy. And yes another thing you have to try there is the bakso goreng. Do make a call first for the bakso goreng. Because they prefer the pre-booked customer for the bakso goreng.
Bakso gorengnya itu enak banget, dulu sampai ada sodara yang lagi hamil ngidam2 minta beliin bakso goreng mie alip karena enak nya itu, salah satu tujuan utama saya ke daerah batu tulis ya bakmi alip.

Pas awal buka di eluh2kan kalau bakwan jagung disini katanya lebih enak dari sarang oci, tapi beberapa hari lalu saya kesini buat beli takeaway, beli bakwan jagung, ikan tude dabu2, cakalang woku sama sayur apa nggak tau, mama yg pilih.
Pas makan dirumah cakalang dan tudenya enak, yaa standar resto manado lah, tapi saya tetep lebih suka ca tu ci sih. Terus pas bagian bakwan jagung, hmmm menurut saya sih blm ada yang ngalahin sarang oci, jadi menurut saya tempat ini msh butuh improvement banyak supaya bisa sustain kaya resto2 manado lainnya.

Kemarin pas kebetulan dateng ke wedding party di mulia, pas selesai decided buat duduk2 di bleu8, kali ini nggak coba kopinya tapi coba cemilan, es2an dan mocktails.
Hari itu coba:

Club Sandwich - sharing with hubby, tapi menurut gw rasanya biasa aja,kaya sandwich biasa bikin dirumah..

Es Teler - ini enak, dan porsinya banyak kayaknya buat sharing aja oke banget.

Mix Berries - ini jenis mocktails tapi rasanya lebih mirip smoothies, ini tuh gabungan antara cranberry, blueberry dan strawberry, tapi kayaknya ada banananya sedikit deh, aga asam, tapi emang sehat banget.
Overall bleu8 selalu menyenangkan sih,  dan sekarang ini one and only cafe di mulia yang provide smoking area, selain coffee shopnya ya. Tadinya di bar nya il mare bisa, tapi sekarang udah nggak bisa lagi. Oia during my last visit service nya tapi agak lemot ya, agak lama banget, apa karena kita last order atau gimana nggak tau juga, tapi club sandwich nya hampir di cancel karena sampai minuman udah mau abis nggak dateng2.

Ini tuh bakmi favoritenya tantenya suami, alias tiap ke pp atau dharmawangsa square, maunya makan iws terus. Bakminya enak, asinnya pas, dan mienya homemade. Yang unik dari mie ini kalau ditambahin bawang merah tambah enak. Semacam acar bawang merah. Bakmi iws ini salah satu bakmi mahal yang gw tau, bakmi ayam seporsinya 50k apa 75k gitu, kurang tau pastinya, karena selalu kesini bareng tantenya suami. Dan selalu di traktir. Tapi emang mie nya enak, jadi biarpun mahal tapi gak rugi.

My 3rd visit to genki sushi. Selalu kesini kalau lagi crave for sushi tapi mau makan ringan2 aja. Porsinya dan ukurannya pas dan mengenyangkan bgt.. harganya juga budget friendly.. dan rasanya enak. I much prefer salmon cheese disini.. daripada di itacho GI. Selain salmon aburi cheese kepiting soka disini juga enak. I

Konsepnya juga menarik. Dan pesenannya cepet bgt datengnya, dulu resto ini rame banget, tapi sekarang gatau kenapa kok sepi padahal makananannya enak.
