1. Flavour depends on seasonality and availability which is a good thing for me because that means you are getting only the best and freshest ingredients of that season!
2. Plenty of seating.
3. Best flavour goes to: Nocciola! Other notable shoutouts: Cioccolato Crocante and Pannacota.
4. They care about the sustainability aspect here so that is always a plus: not just gelato but they use natural ingredients, no GMO and locally use only locally grown fruits
What could be improved 🙏
Price is on the pricey range, however if you use promotions that are available across various platforms it is a great deal.

What could be improved 🙏
1. The cheese did not compliment the drink to be honest because it was a bit too sweet for my liking. However, this would depend on your preference. If you like the cheese on the sweet side, this place is for you. I like it when it is just slightly savoury (not too much though) to ensure it balances in flavour with the sweet berries.
2. This is on the pricey side compared to the quality but there are fintech payment options.

1. Generous portion! One kwetiau can be shared by 2-3 people.
2. Lots of protein, for the kwetiau goreng spesial they were super generous with the liver.
3. Strategically located.
4. Plenty of seating.
5. Super fast cooking!
What could be improved 🙏
1. Taste. The taste of the noodles could use more improvement. It was more on the bland side. Not salty. Not spicy. Not sweet. Not a lot of things going on.
2. Texture of kwetiau. I wish were a bit more firm. For me it was too soft and were not too enjoyable. I do enjoy my noodle that is not too soft has just a bit of chewiness.
3. Lots of aircon in the restaurant, but somehow it does not really work and the place is a bit hot. Considering this kwetiau is on the pricier side, although the ambience is not too important in a comfort food restaurant like this, a working aircon is a must!

1. Located in a strategic place in Kemang.
2. Plenty of seats.
3. Large parking space nearby.
4. Lots of unique and innovative gelato flavours you can choose from kemangi, klepon, martabak to rujak aceh!
What could be improved 🙏
The gelato melted very easily which made it not too enjoyable. But the taste lacked that extra bold flavour I thought it would get from an ice cream joint this popular. While this does not taste bad, but it is not great either. Good if you want to try exotic flavours, but I do not see myself coming back here.

1. Lots of branches
2. The flavour is consistent across all branches.
3. Love the donuts, so light and you can eat three at a time sometimes because it seems like you are eating a fluffy airy donut.
4. Tuna puff pastry is awesome. Get this if you like tuna make sure it is warmed though. Great deal.
What could be improved 🙏
Tuna puff pastry used to have a more generous filling of tuna. I don't expect the tuna to be overflowing or anything. But a great tuna to pastry ratio would be awesome.

1. Chicken teriyaki here has the right balance of sauce. Not too much that the rice is super soaked in sauce but not stingy. Just great. The taste is the right amount of savoury with sweeetness of the teriyaki that dominates. Chicken is crispy and perfectly cooked.
2. Ocha here is super flavourful!
3. Seared Egg with Pollock Roe is great, it is sweet and goes well as the ending to the meal.
4. Plenty of seating.
5. Friendly service.
What could be improved 🙏
The salmon was not as fresh usual. Still good, but usually in Genki Sushi it is a tad bit fresher. With that being said, it was still an enjoyable visit.

Why you will love it ❤
1. The appetizers are awesomeeee. The ones that stood out were the pomelo salad which had beautiful balanced flavour of sweet, sour and spicy. Tied together with the fresh coriander and pomelo and crunchiness of peanut.
2. Crispy Imperial Rolls also deserve a shoutout! It was nice and crispy with a dipping that complimented the rolls. I will try the Southern Rolls next time as they ran out during my visit there.
3. Super friendly and attentive service considering there was only one waiter I believe it was like a one-man show (besides the kitchen team of course). Brilliant. Had a wonderful visit here, will definitely come back.
4. Nice and cozy interior.
5. Portion of noodles are quite generous.
What could be improved 🙏
1. I wish the pomelo salad had a bit more coriander! The pomelo salad was beautiful but if it had more coriander it would have created the taste to be next level awesomeness. Also the pomelo was a bit on the bitter side as opposed to sour. Would be great if they chose the type of pomelo with a hint of sweetness and just a bit of bitterness (the level of sourness was already great).
2. Quite on the pricey side, but if you use promotions, becomes a great deal.
3. The Spicy Hue Australian Beef Noodle was okay but not special. Portion was generous both noodles and protein (beef and innards) but could have been improved with more seasoning and coriander! It tastes great only when you bite a coriander and there is this bombastic explosion of flavour in your mouth. But once the coriander are gone it is your average noodle soup.

1. Dum Dum has so many branches, you can find it anywhere!
2. Service is friendly and I think considering it is a one-man show who is the cashier and the tea maker, he is doing a pretty good job.
What could be improved 🙏
1. Their taste varies from one branch to another. I think it really depends on who makes it. This one... Lacks the tea flavour. That is the thing about Dum Dum only few branches have great taste, the rest needs improvement. Maybe it was not my lucky day, or maybe this branch needs to step up. I have only visited this place once, maybe it would change.
2. Only one person handling cashier and making the drinks which is why queueing is a bit long on lunchtime.
3. There is only ovo here, no gopay. Less options for customer.

2.6Akasya Express [ Lebak Bulus, Indonesia ]
Cumi hitam is overrated

1. They serve homecooking style dishes, comfort food.
2. Lots of seating though this place is often crowded because it seems to be a favourite lunch spot.
3. Dendeng belado is soft and tender, great if you like your meat lean. Seasoning is on point. Sambal Embe to me tasted more like fried onions and that is it. I think it needs a bit of kick and tone down the garlic just a bit.
What could be improved 🙏
1. Quite pricey, I ordered Dendeng Balado, Bakwan Jagung and Sambal Embe with Ice Tea cost me around 58K (tried the cumi hitam from a friend cause they were sold out). Would be great if they partner with fintech payment options and provide discounts so the price would be up to par with the taste. Personally, the taste was just okay but with the price range to me it is a bit overpriced.
2. Do arrive before 12 if you want to get the cumi hitam which seems to be their specialty which sells out fast!
3. Bakwan jagung could be better if it were slightly sweeter.
4. Cumi hitam lacked seasoning. I think it lacked the depth of taste I expect in cumi hitam. It was more on the bland side actually. Not really spicy/savoury. Just an okay at best.

It was almost closing, so maybe they waited until all tables were cleared. But it would be great if they maintained a good standard of cleanliness and tissues/paper were not on the floor.
