3.0Burgreens Eatery [ BSD, Vegetarian ]
Love their concept, flavour could use improvement though

Why you will love it ❤
1. They have refill water and don't use bottled water - high props for that! There are reusable cutleries, really love how mindful they are about the cutleries.
2. A great place that has quite lots of branches everywhere for easy access of plant based meal.
3. The rendang flavors are great, could be less spicy though!
What could be improved 🙏
1. Pricey, would love options that are both healthy on the lips and healthy on the wallet
2. Fettuccine Bolognese was really disappointing, I wish it could be more drenched in tomato sauce and possibly dried tomatoes, the texture was a bit too dry for me to chew.
3. Although the rendang bowl was great, I wish they had options for less spicy rendang. I'm not a fan of spicy things so it was quite on the hot side.
4. I enjoyed the popeye wrap every time I visit Burgreen, but the recent visit was quite below expectations.
5. Would appreciate for more non-soya options since I'm trying to avoid consuming soya for health reasons.

Why you will love it ❤
1. If you're looking for one of the best Gado-Gado you can ever ask for, hands down this should be on your list, the abundant creamy peanut sauce is one you can't miss
2. A lot of vegetable variety all well cooked and compliments well
3. Fast service and serving, we didn't wait that long and it was at a peak hour during lunch
4. Despite there were a lot of people, the Joglo infrastructure still kept it quiet and enjoyable to enjoy our meal
What could be improved 🙏
1. Despite the restaurant is cool without aircon, it was a hot day that day, they could use more fan in the restaurant
2. The portion could be bigger
3. Would be better if they don't hand out straws for the drinks, since now lots of restaurants do not hand out straws anymore for environmental sake!

4.6Imperial Kitchen & Dimsum [ Bintaro, China ]

Why you will love it ❤
1. Gao Zi is a must-order when you come here. Every branch I notice is slightly different. Some branches do not give the little bit of coriander dressing, some are generous. I love the Gao Zi here, because they are generous with the coriander since it adds that little freshness and unique flavour which goes well with the shrimp and beautifully flavoured vinegar sauce.
2. Ha Kau is a classic, never can go wrong with that. Like an old childhood friend who is always there for you.
3. Fong Zau is great here! Perfectly seasoned. I was a non Fong Zau eater, but I was converted as I ate the chicken feet in Imperial Kitchen. Now, I can eat Fong Zau. Great flavour, balance of sweet with a very slight hint of spiciness.
4. I like the chilli oil here, goes quite well with the dim sum.
5. Fantastic service, not gonna lie some places rate this branch as low… They could not be any more wrong! Service was fast, kind and friendly especially during a Sunday with so many visitors, great job.
What could be improved 🙏
Consistency of Gao Zi across branches, this branch was excellent though! Will definitely come back here.

1. Lots of branches.
2. Standardized taste everywhere, always reliable and a shoulder to cry on when you are hungry or need a friend call 14045.
3. The nuggets and fries! Make sure to get the sweet and sour sauce.
4. They make lot of innovative menus now, some are a win, some are not but they are always exciting to try.
What could be improved 🙏🏼
Did not like the berry pie, I guess this is not for everyone. Because some people really love it, I did not. It tastes like a strawberry yoghurt inside the crust. I think a nice simple custard inside the apple pie would be brilliant tbh. But then again, apple pie is a little difficult to be improved on. Classic is a classic for a reason.

1. The chocolate is generoussss. And not the overwhelmingly sweet kind of chocolate, but the kind of chocolate you do not mind drinking again and again and again and again. Kind of like falling in love, you would not mind falling over again and again for the same person.
2. Price was cheap, just 15K for their signature drink! Price vs quality, definitely worth it! I think with the price point, definitely one of the best chocolate drink in the category.
3. Lot of branches, and opening more branches. Yas.
4. Would be interesting if they have chocolate hazelnut flavour, for future product maybe would love to taste their interpretation of chocolate hazelnut, pretty please! 😉
What could be improved 🙏
1. The cashier said wifi is problematic and fintech payment options could not be used (but then it was active again! Yeay, good thing because I had not cash on me). So it would be great if they invest in a proper wifi/mobile data to ensure non debit/cash payment options are available :).
2. Lowkey brand, but I think this would be famous in no time. People need to know more about this drink, I discovered this drink because I was eating in a food stall nearby, did not know I would be magically surprised by this sweet drink.

3.4Nasi Cumi Hitam Madura Pak Kris [ Gading Serpong, Indonesia ]
One of the best nasi cumi hitam in Jakarta/Tangerang.

Why you will love it ❤
1. Great nasi cumi hitam! Not as good as the one in Surabaya/Malang, but this is great if you miss the flavours there. The nasi cumi hitam here is great and the ink to rice ratio is good, so they are not stingy.
2. You get other proteins/carbs like noodles, srundeng, clams and peyek to complete the dish. You can order the complete one or the one with the proteins you like only.
3. The place in Serpong is the nicest because it is airconditioned and clean, plus there are lots of other stalls nearby for dessert #thinkahead.
What could be improved 🙏
1. Quite expensive. Maybe I visited during the price increase transition or something, but the nasi cumi kerang in Fatmawati and Meruya was only 45K while this one is priciest, maybe this is the cost of airconditined room (?).
2. Consistency of taste of clams. While the star of the show, the squid tastes the same across all branches, the one in Serpong the clams were not as sweet compared to Fatmawati & Meruya. I do prefer a slight sweetness in the clams, but great news is it is the less fishiest tasting here.
3. Also, the googlemap direction seems wrong. I had to walk an additional 150m because I parked near a convenience store, it is near the uturn actually, but the walk is worth it for nasi cumi hitam Pak Kris.

1. Large parking space available for cars.
2. Order the siomay here, it is better than the bakso I believe.
3. Bakso is savoury and has quite a nice broth but it is not the most special bakso on earth. If you are looking for a good, cheap bakso this could be it. But for me personally, this is not the best bakso out there.
What could be improved 🙏🏼
1. Quite hot during the day, actually really hot! But this is also the beauty… it adds to the ambience.
2. More varieties of krupuk please! :) I also prefer saos abang-abang compared to the store bought saos, so it would be good to have this as an option.

1. Tried the squid here, it was on the chewy side. Had more egg inside than squid. Although it was quite decent, it is not the most special food I have had.
2. The sayur nangka here is great! Soft taste that allows the taste of nangka to shine while the spices do their magic and alleviate the overall taste.
3. Lots of parking available.
4. Large restaurant, you can choose airconditioned or not, up to you.
5. Quite fast service.
What could be improved 🙏
They often run out certain items on their menu - either a testament to how good they are, or they do not prepare lots of certain menu.

3.0Lontong Medan 1000 Dinar [ Bintaro, Indonesia ]
The lontong sayur was okay, but the sate kerang won my heart.

1. Lontong Sayur Medan has so many components which is fun to eat, tastewise and texture wise.
2. Love how it has more vegetables/proteins compared to lontong. So good lontong to protein ratio here.
3. The sate kerang is magicallll. You pay by the skewer, but they will put five in one plate on your table. Sate kerang is only available on weekends though!
What could be improved 🙏
1. The place is in the Pasar Modern Bintaro area, so a bit hectic here. Was a bit difficult for us to find turns out we passed it just as we enter. It's near the entrance of the electronic store, so park around that area.
2. Parking in Pasar Modern Bintaro always makes me want to internally cry and pretend to be in a music video while looking at the glass while it is raining because it is quite difficult to get parking here for cars.

1. The classics I usually order: salmon maki, chuka wakame gunkan, inari tuna salad, lobster salad gunkan and aburi salmon roll if I am feeling super hungry.
2. Great service.
3. The place is newly renovated I believe, albeit smaller I think they rearranged it so the capacity is bigger (?) and the interior is cozy.
