Macaroni House [ Puri, Italia ]

    Macaroni Schotelnya Lumayan Enak!

The cafe was so good, but it wasn't so spacious. They have such a great ambiance around there, and also play good songs so it somehow made me easier dine in here. They have a cute decoration on the wall and unique shape of chairs. The wifi was also good.

They are claim to be a specialist of macaroni, so why don't give it a try?

    - Smoked Beef Macaroni Schotel: Despite the beef that rarely I saw in it, it tasted great, really. They served it warm as it should be, the portion was fair, and quite fulfilling. I even didn't think about my diet and went straight finishing the dish. The cheese also was not overpowering the taste of the macaroni.

    - Super Cheese Crispy Pizza: The appearance is not as well as ordinary pizza that usually comes with a round shape. I personally think that it shouldn't named pizza, because it was more like pastry or puff. It was too flaky to be a pizza and had so many layers. The texture kinda reminded me of the one that usually came up with zuppa soup. Based on the name, I expected it could be more cheesy but turned out, it wasn't. Too pricey for the teeny tiny portion

    - Original Fish and Chips: I took a bite and it tasted just like any other fish and chips you usually find. The portion was fair compared to its price. The salad was still so fresh and they gave something crispy to their mayonnaise.

The place was not huge enough, not to mention they only have around 5 tables only. The service was quite good, they were so helpful, but unfortunately they didn't take any credit cards. They also limited to some of debit card.

Menu yang dipesan: Smoked Beef Macaroni Schotel, Super Cheese Crispy Pizza, Original Fish and Chips

Harga per orang: Rp. 50.000 - Rp. 100.000

    Hard Baguette!

What I love the most about had a lunch in here is its ambience. Sooooo warm, cozy, comfy, and homy. They serve fresh breads every 7 am everyday. For coffee hunter and tea addict, you should pay a visit here because they offer many kinds of coffee and tea. They also sell infused water, too.

    - Chicken Quiche:
Not the best quiche I've ever had, it served a little bit cold, and it looked pale. The taste was a little bit bland and the crust was quite heavy with the fillings were so thin. Suprisingly, when I asked for sauce, they turned back giving me three kinds of sambal. I never thought I would have a quiche with sambal. Weird fusion LOL. It were sambal ijo, sambal merah (like usually you could find in Lele Goreng or Ayam Penyet menu, really) and also tamarind sauce. I don't know, either they are trying Indonesian-French fusion, or they were just running out of sauce and chilli. But the sauce didn't work out at all

    - Plain Baguette: It came cold, as well as the presentation. The dough was so rough, and soggy. I tried to cut it with fork and knife, but it was like a rock... even I had to use bare hands. It also were so hard to bite and chew. I expected some French-bread experience in my tounge, but it was just like plain bread, or white bread. Really, they should have to warm it up first, no need to wait for the customer to ask it

Almond Chocolate Danish: This is the saviour dish of all! It came warm, as my friend learned my experience with my plain baguette, so she asked the waitress to warm it up first. The outer layer was flaky, it had some sprinkles of sugar on top of the almonds. Not too sweet even it named chocolate danish. Perfecto!

    - Oven Egg (something): This was my friend's order, but I took some bites. It had a foccacia as a based, somehow it reminded me like lasagna from the appearance. It completed with roasted baby potato. I loved it, they sprinkled salt on the baby potato, and they roasted the skin well .

We wanted to try their Almond Croissant, but they were running out of it. The waitresses were all so friendly and helpful. The place wasn't that spacious, there were two long tables which is meant to be shared tables with other customers.

Menu yang dipesan: Individual Quiche, Almond Croissannt Danish, Oven-Baked Egg in Fresh Tomato and Basil Sauce, Half Baguette

Harga per orang: Rp. 50.000 - Rp. 100.000

    Delicio [ Tebet, Kafe ]

    Kind of Disappointed

I've been bookmarked this cafe in zomato for about a week if I were in a Tebet area. This cafe is about a few walks from train station.

The area is divided into two, smoking and non-smoking. We chose the smoking area because it was more spacious than the non one. The choices wasn't that variant, but they also sell breads and cakes. I personally ordered their Vegetarian Sandwich. My friend's orders were Wagyu Fried Rice and Tuna Sandwich. The sandwich came in a 'humble' presentation, and there wasn't any special, just two slices of toast bread, the fillings were slices of tomato, lettuce, and cucumber, completed with cheese shredded. For the fried rice, my friend said that the portion was quite petite for fried rice, and unfortunately they didn't gave any 'kerupuk' :(

If you are looking for a nice place to spend your time waiting for the train, you should probably come to here, since they have a light-bites menu and also good wifi connection!

    Ippudo [ SCBD, Jepang ]

    Umami

When they newly opened, the choice of ramen is not vary enough, there are only about 3 kinds of ramen. We ordered Shiromaru Ramen and Salmon Salad.

The shiromaru's broth was tasteful and rich. Not too heavy, but also not too light. The broth is one of a kind. The ramen itself was chewy enough and it was also thin. The portion was fulffilling enough.

When I ordered Salmon Salad, actually I didn't expect something high. From the appearance, I could tell that the veggies were still so fresh. When I took the first bite, I fell in loooove, it was better than the one that Sushi Te* sell, I think. I was also enjoying to eat with the mayonnaise, because it was light and not too sour.

Although it was not that spacious, but the servers were quite quick. They also have waitresses that was being helpful even we didn't have to ask them to refill the ocha, they initiatively moved their a*s

Menu yang dipesan: Shiromaru Chashu, Salmon Salad with Japanese Dressing

Harga per orang: Rp. 50.000 - Rp. 100.000
