Caffe Milano

Visited PIK’s branch when they first opened and thought that the GI’s branch tasted better. Recently went back and sadly my opinion remained the same.

Chicken Parmagiana (150k) 7/10
One of the better dish we’ve tried there. Chicken was thick and nicely fried, creating a thin yet crispy batter while keeping the meat inside juicy. Tomato sauce had a nice boldness to it that was complemented by parmigiano reggiano on top. The chicken was served with arugula, which was a good choice of greens for this dish as the slight pepperiness complement the acidity of the tonato. Fries were crunchy and had the right amount of flavours.

Caesar Salad (120k) 6/10
Just a basic caesar salad, with slightly more generous portion of cheese vs other places. Prefer bistecca’s caesar salad over this. Quite filling from the chicken and croutons though.

Pizza (195k) 5/10
They had a promotion of buying 1 pizza (we got the USA prime roast beef) to get 1 margherita pizza (worth 110k). Sadly, I could not really recommend the pizza here as the dough was hard to chew and taste was very bland for both pizza. The tomato sauce seemed watery and lacking that sweet-sour taste you would expect. Since it’s new on the menu, they probably still need some time to get the consistency and taste right?

Orange Cheesecake (85k) 6/10
Nice cheesecake with your typical sweet and slightly tangy flavour. Would prefer more dominant orange notes though, as they tasted almost identical to regular cheesecake. Really enjoyed the crust, which was surprisingly my favourite part if the dessert.

Ambiance 7/10
Really nice casual bistro vibe, with semi outdoor area that provides ample sunshine and wind while still being cozy from the AC indoor. Good place for friends or family meet ups.

Service 6/10
Friendly staffs but somewhat hard to get their attention. Some staffs lacking in product knowledge.

Aku order beberapa menu mereka kaya Penne with Kurobuta Pork Bolognese, ini enak sih. Tomato saucenya bener" medok plus cheesy juga tp gabikin eneg 👌🏻Aku jg order Margherita Pizza 🍕Tekstur pizza nya oke sih tp utk rasanya b aja 🫢 Yang paling bikin aku penasaran itu Tiramisu mereka. Aku order Baileys Tiramisu nya dan okelah ini enak 😋Creamnya light gt dan gabikin eneg 👍🏻 Manisnya pas, tp baileys nya kurang mantep. Porsinya imut bgt, tp harganya ga imut 🥴 Aku lebih prefer tiramisunya Osteria Gia >>

The ambience was nice and okay. Tp pas itu aku dtg pas siang dan cuaca lg agak panas. Jd kek ga gt berasa AC nya 🥵 Utk servicenya bagus dan helpfull 👍🏻

Btw ternyata mereka gaada welcome bread 🥖❌ Awalnya aku kira bakal ada karna biasa makan di fine Itailan resto bakal dikasih welcome bread dl kan sblm dianterin makanan lainnya yg kt order. Turns out gaada 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kalau kesini harus reservasi dlu, aku dtg Sabtu jam 17.30 an. Gak terlalu rame, tempatnya sih enak buat ngobrol ya, cuman karena dia konsepnya indoor room space tpi kebuka gt, agak panas.

Aku pesen sea bass dan segrafedo gt. Sea bass nya ukurannya besar, isinya ada clams dan tomato sauce. Enak sih, ikannya fresh sauce tomatnya juga fresh. Segafredo nya biasa aja, not a big fan. Oh ya sama ice lychee tea, enak gak terlalu manis.

Makanannya keluarnya cepet, tpi menurutku pelayanan disini kurang oke, waiters nya ada yg beberapa jutek pas melayani.Total abis makan buat ber 8 1,9 jt an. Ya okelah average makan di resto kayak gini.

Ke sini untuk snack, dan akhirnya pesan garlic bread.
Duh rasanya enak and flavourful banget.
