I really like their effort in the interior details, you really got the Japan vibe.

MUST ORDER :

Chicken Namban
- Legit fried chicken, crispy even after 30 minutes passed. Sauce is just the right balance of umami, some tartar sauce can be very overwhelming, esp with oily food.

Tuna Maguro
- They offer fresh sashimi and I like this one, they give us thick slices of fresh tuna ♥️

Green Tea Mille Crepes
- Love the cream, its not just plainly sweet but also have some hints of bitter taste — which is a good thing. Also, it has some red bean paste in the middle so it adds another flavour dimension 👌🏻

Oh, their Miso Soup is also tasty, not too salty! And I love how they have more fillings like Tofu Skin & Mushrooms.
Also, I find their service astonishing, quick and friendly. 🥰

The chef and head steward were Japanese made us felt flown away to Tokyo. Layout and facade are too real, arrived here you were in Japan with no question asked.

Hamburg (8/10): Japanese style hamburg steak, it is a super thick burger patty.

Seafood Okonomiyaki (10/10): Definitely an authentic okonomiyaki with light batter (fake one are the ones with heavy flour and taste like a pancake). Filled with plenty of shrimp, squid, and cabbage.

Yakimeshi (8/10): A nice sides option for Tepan foods.

Matcha mille crepe (9/10): A Well-balance dessert. Sweetness of cream, mixed with a slight bitternes of matcha and a hint of sweet ogura (red bean).

Konichiwa! Today I would like to share my lunch experience in Furusato Izakaya. Me and my friend had lunch set menu which available from 11:30 am to 14:30 pm.

The first sight of the exterior building reflect a Japanese cultures, very authentic & beautiful. The sliding wooden door and the beautiful lady welcome me when I step into the restaurant.

We move the Tatami Room on the second floor, it’s private room that can filled 4 - 6 person. It’s clean, tidy & full aircon.

1. Tuna Sashimi
This is the best Tuna sashimi, the cutting are very big, thick. Very fresh & juicy, perfect cutting which no finer, so it’s smooth and easy to chew. The best with wasabi & soy sauce.

2. Maguro Katsu
It’s Seasonal Menu from Furusato Izakaya. Tuna that is cooked perfectly with sautéed mushroom. Beautiful colour, its firm yet soft and melted in mouth. Perfectly seasoned. You will defenitely love this

3. Cheese Menchi Katsu Minced Meat Cutlet with Cheese
It’s my favourite ~ The katsu very crunchy & tasty. The beef is filled with Mozzarella cheese, dipped in special sauce. The beef is very tender, juicy & tasty. This set menu come with fresh salad, macaroni, Soup, Rice, & fruits. Perfect meal for lunch, such a comfort food, I am so satisfy and happy with this set menu.

4. Grilled Beef Hamburg
My friend love this Japanese Beef Hamburg, the beef is so juicy, soft, tender & perfectly cooked. This set menu also come with soup, salad, rice and fruits.

5. Matcha Mille Crepes
Beautiful piece of mille crepes in authentic Japanese Matcha. Every layer of this cake is super moist, fluffy, soft & creamy. Love the smell of matcha. It’s light and delicious. There is always room for dessert. I love this Matcha mille crepes

Overall the food I can rate 9/10, the service are excellent, very friendly & fast respond. The plate also covered with plastic sealing, very clean & safe. It’s an awesome lunch experience with Furusato Izakaya. OISHI ~

Have a super great lunch session here! Tempatnya agak terpencil di area sudirman suites, but once kita sampai dari luar uda keliatan banget restoran ini punya bentuk dan interior yang sangat otentik jepang banget. Pas masuk nuansa kayu-kayu dan tumbuhan ada disekitarnya super comfy banget dan di tengah ada khas area sushi bar izakaya dimana konsep asalnya umumnya tempat orang jepang minum dan mencari makanan ketika sepulang kerja.

Kami ditempatkan di area private di lantai 2 dengan konsep tatami. Tempatnya tenang dan bener-bener nyaman buat kita makan disaat pandemic seperti ini, yang ingin nuansa private atau untuk meeting bisa mencoba book yang tatami area di lantai 2.

Untuk makanannya kami mencicipi cukup banyak varian diantaranya:

- maguro katsu: maguronya walau dalam bentuk gorengan tapi sama sekali tidak oily, lembut meleleh di mulut dan tumisan jamurnya juga perfectly cooked ada rasa butternya. One of my fav dish dan ini menu yang khusus hanya ada di bulan november.

- Beef mechi cheese lunch set: untuk lunch set yang kami dapat ada miso soup, nasi, creamy fettucini dan japanese pickle beserta pilihan main dishnya yang berbeda. Untuk mechi cheese ini modelnya beef slice yang juicy dilapisi dengan mozarella cheese dan dibalur dengan model deep fried. Beef dan mozanya match in mouth banget ditambah dengan dipping saucenya dan seperti ada hint beefnya di bumbuin jadinya ga flat di mulut, so tasty!

- Hamburg grilled lunch set: lunch set ini juga mirip dengan yang beef mechi set. Lupa mention kalau nasi mereka juara karena bener-bener wangi dan pulen! Hamburg mereka modelnya yang flat, ga terlau meaty tapi well seasoned jadinya sama sekali berasa dry ataupun terlalu padat dagingnya, easy to chew and Suited with my taste

- Hokkaido matcha mille crepe: untuk mille crepe disini terasa light, manisnya juga ga berlebihan dari rasa matchanya ada hint manis dari creamnya. Kalau crepe matchanya lebi dikasi hint pahit dan agak tipis akan lebih perfect

- Maguro sashimi: plattingnya cantik banget! tuna sashiminya terasa sekali bahwa masih fresh karena warnanya tidak pucat dan tidak ada bau amis sama sekali. Slicenya juga tebal dan pas digigit lagi-lagi sensasi melelehnya dapet 👌🏻

Service disini oke banget, waiternya ramah, cepat dan tanggap ketika di call dan diminta tolong, tempatnya super nyaman karena hidden, well decorated place with good and beautiful food, 5 stars for me. Cheers!
