Goods Burger

Ever since the reviews went up from fellow foodies, I was interested to try out this newly opened burger joint under Goods’ wing. I mean, take a look at those pictures! Aren’t you tempted?

Food and beverage: 4/5
After a deliberate consideration (I wanted to taste so many of their menu), my boyfriend and I finally settled on J.L.M (Jakarta Loco Moco), Mac and Cheese Dog, and Arnold Parmer. J.L.M was the star of the show, hands down. Fried rice topped with beef patty and medium raw sunny side up coated with cream, this dish upped the rice bowl game. Fried rice alone was seasoned right, had the right balance of sweet and savory with a little bit of spice. Patty was a great addition to the whole dish although it was a little overcooked hence it wasn’t as juicy as I expected. Sunny side up was divine, you know that moment of yolk slicing and it just melts everywhere. The cream complemented every aspect and tied the whole thing splendidly, but they could reduce the salt since it was a bit too salty. Mac and Cheese Dog - I had pretty high expectation on this but sad to discover that, well, it was just decent. Not as good as I hoped for. It tasted like regular hot dog, but their mac and cheese was quite alright. Arnold Parmer is half iced tea and half lemonade which combines into: iced lemon tea. It was very refreshing. Went so well with J.L.M. Next time I come here, I’ll try out their coffee-rubbed burger and cheese burger bowl.

Quite affordable! Portion was moderate and fits the price. J.L.M costed IDR 60k (if you’re thinking whether a deconstructed fried rice is worth that amount, the answer is yes), Mac and Cheese Dog IDR 50k, and Arnold Parmer IDR 30k.

Ambience: 4/5
It’s very easy to spot this burger joint. It’s located in ground floor Citos, right next to TRS, with colorful neon signage. Their whole menu is displayed on a black board behind the bar. I love the tropical vibe they offer, with hanging plants above the mirrored pane and posters on the opposite wall. There’s an option of outdoor seatings (smoking) and indoor seatings (non-smoking) - both of which only wooden chairs and tables are available. They don’t have air conditioner but the ceiling was pretty high and there are fans so air circulation is still good and cool. Bright lights and rainbow glasses makes the whole shop cheerful. Power sockets and WiFi are available.

Service: 4.5/5
Waiters and waitresses were friendly, skillful, and attentive. I love how they didn’t need to write our orders (save paper!) but still repeated to make sure it was right. Food came fast, hot, and fresh!

Highlight: Jakarta Loco Moco yum yum yum! Definitely will come back for this along with a refreshing glass of Arnold Parmer.

My favorite restaurant to eat Loco Moco! For those of you who don't know about Loco Moco, its contemporary hawaiian cuisini. Consist of rice, beef patty, egg and mushroom sauce. And here in goods burger they use fried rice instead of white rice. You can request whether you want the patty to be well done or medium. You can have double patty as well if you want. Yummy!!

Goods Burger ini baru buka di Cilandak Town Square.  Berbeda dengan Goods Diner di tempat ini Burger
adalah speciality. Interiornya sangat simple dan modern, kental dengan nuansa tropical
yang ceria. Berada di tempat ini terasa kita lagi liburan di daerah pantai deh.
 Di sini juga bisa pesan Fresh Coconut
yang masih ada batok kelapanya lo. Kalau kita datang ke sini dengan baju santai
dan pesan Fresh Coconut lengkap deh berasa seperti lagi holiday J Datang ke sini dengan teman2 dan nyobain :

*Coffee Rubbed Burger  (65k) – ini
favorit burger saya dari jaman Goods Diner baru buka di PP dan di Bengkel /
Fairgrounds. Beef pattynya itu dibuat 100% minced beef yang berkualitas.
Sehingga meskipun pattynya agak dry untuk saya, rasanya enak banget karena mixed
antara Coffee dan homemade BBQ sauce, beef bacon dapet semua… Recommended.

*Tropical Burger (65k) – Burger dengan smoked beef bacon, dill pickle,
dan grilled pineapple.  Ini juga enak
karena ada rasa sedikit asam dan segar dari nanasnya.

*Portabello Cheese Burger (45k) – Burger dengan topping jamur portabella
local yang di grill dan swiss cheese. Yummy juga.

*Mac and cheese hot dog (50k) – Kalau ditanya saya suka burger atau
hotdog, sebenarnya saya lebih suka hot dog.  Langsung dong pesen Mac and Cheese hot
dog.  Dari tampilannya saja sudah sangat
menggugah selera. Hot dog dengan topping  macaroni yang cheesy, cheesenya sempai luber2
gitu. Macaroninya al dente, sosisnya juga enak bukan yang murahan, cheesenya
juga nga terlalu asin dan tidak bikin enek. Pokoknya must try banget.

*J.L.M (Jakarta Loco Moco) (60k) – menu ini juga unik. Ini sebenarnya
nasi goreng kampung yang toppingnya beef burger, telor ceplok disiram dengan
creamy mushroom sauce. Benar benar enak dan unik. Jadi kalau ada yang tidak
suka burger atau hotdog, bisa nyobain menu ini. Untuk sunny side upnya kita
bisa request mau yang matang atau ½ matang. Kalau saya lebih suka yang ½ matang
karena kalau di belah akan meleleh dan enak banget kalau sudah tercampur dengan
nasi, burger dan creamy mushroom saucenya.

*Baileys Milkshake (50k) – Pencinta Baileys pasti suka, meskipun tanpa alcohol
taste Baileys terasa ok juga.  Kalau
makan Burger minumannya paling enak dan pas memang Milkshake . Jadi harus cobain
signature milkshake disini salah satunya Baileys Milkshake ini. Saya pernah
nyobain ovomaltine di Goods diner itu juga juara.

Untuk servicenya ok staffnya ramah dan juga cekatan.  Fyi, kalau lagi mau take away dan males
nunggu di sini, mau jalan2  atau belanja
di area yang selantai dengan Goods Burger, di sini ada remote device yang bisa
dibawa. Jadi kalau sudah pesanan sudah ready alatnya akan nyala dan bunyi juga.
Penasaran deh sama menu Cheese Burger Bowlnya. Next time pasti akan balik lagi
ke sini dengan keluarga.
