I like their ham & cheese croissant. It was tasty and cheesy but not overwhelming. The Caramel Macchiato tasted good too. Not too sweet. The place was small but still comfortable and cozy.

OldTown Spaghetti
A typical spaghetti bolognese served with boiled vegetables and garlic breads. The texture of spaghetti was just right for me and the sauce was good enough. But I think the portion was a little too small. Personally, I like the garlic bread better than the spaghetti. The garlic bread was tasty and crunchy.

OldTown Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken
A fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk served with deep-fried chicken, fried anchovies and peanuts, grilled fish paste, sambal, boiled egg, cucumber slices and crackers. The fried anchovies and peanuts were a little bit too dry and hard to chew. The deep-fried chicken was so good. It was flavorful, crispy on the outside, but still moist on the inside. I really like it.

Overall, the food was good enough with affordable price. They also serve various dishes on their menu, so you'll have many choices to pick from.

Prime Tenderloin with Black Pepper Sauce - IDR 110 K ++
A medium well prime tenderloin steak served with green beans, corn, french fries and black pepper sauce. The steak was tender, juicy and well-marinated. It goes well with the side dishes. Every bite was a divine gift.

Bergyu - IDR 90 K ++
A delicious burger with thick patty, french fries and homemade mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce was good, creamy but not too thick.

Overall, It was a satisfying dinner. Every dish is worth every penny. And I definitely will come back. 

You can have self service snack while waiting for your order to be served. It was free and can be taken as much as you want. But don't forget to finish it. :) 

Beef Hot Ramen - IDR 33 K
A bowl of ramen topped with beef teriyaki, half hard-boiled egg, bean sprouts, fish cakes and chopped leek. You can choose the level of spiciness according to your preference, from level 1 to level 4 if I'm not mistaken. For this one, I chose level 2. It was not spicy at all. The texture of noodle was good and the taste was okay for me. Neither satisfying nor disappointing.

Gokana 2 - IDR 37 K
Gokana 2 consisted of beef teriyaki, sauteed vegetables and fry mix. The beef seasoning was good. But it was kinda overcooked because the beef is quite chewy. 

Beef Original Bento - IDR 37 K
A bento box consisted of rice, beef teriyaki, chicken katsu, deep fried veggies and salad. 

Overall, the food was good enough with affordable price and fulfilling portion.

Baso Super Special Jumbo - IDR 30 K
A bowl of meatballs with clear broth, fried dumplings, noodle and vermicelli. The soup broth was tasty, but the meatballs were a little bit too tough to chew.

Mie Ayam Pedas Istimewa - IDR 33 K
The noodle's texture was quite smooth and moist. The chicken topping was well-marinated and tasty.

Nasi Goreng Ikan Asin - IDR 34 K
A fulfilling portion of fried rice with salted fish, pickles and crackers as companion. It had a nice fragrant and was delicious.

Overall, I was quite satisfied about the food. The food tasted good with affordable price.

The place was spacious, comfortable and had a nice ambience. There were seating places that you can choose, either on chair or lesehan.
We were seated in the saung (traditional Sundanese house) by the fish pond. While waiting for our food to be served, we enjoyed the view and fed the fish. It was refreshing and relaxing!

Gurame Bumbu Cobek - IDR 85.5 K ++
The bumbu cobek was confusing. I didn't expect this kind of bumbu cobek when I heard its name. I thought it would be like a sambal chili sauce. The taste was also confusing. I couldn't describe it btw. 
I prefer this mangga (mango) muda sauce than the previous one. This one was refreshingly good. Anyway, the fried gourami was okay and didn't have a muddy taste. 

Kerang Bambu Saus Pedas - IDR 35.5 K ++
This dish is bambo clam with spicy sauce. The sauce was delicious and not too spicy, but the clam was a little bit too chewy.

Kepiting Soka Goreng - IDR 80.5 K ++
The fried soft shell crabs was delicious, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Overall, the taste of food was just average. There was nothing really stand out. In my opinion, the food portion was too small and the price was a little bit expensive. But the nice ambience makes it a place worth visiting. If you want a refreshing and relaxing dining experience with your family or friends, then give it a try!

Located at Ruko Pinangsia, Karawaci. It was not really spacious but homey. On my visit, it was packed with Korean expats.

Gunmandu (군만두) - IDR 60.5 K
Gunmandu (군만두) is a pan-fried dumpling which is often filled with minced meat, tofu, green onions and garlic. Mandu are usually served with kimchi and a dipping sauce made of soy sauce, vinegar and chilli. This mandu tasted light, delicious and crispy on the outside. It was tastier after dipping it in the sauce. Such a good start!

Jjajangmyeon (짜장면) - IDR 66 K
Jjajangmyeon is a Korean Chinese cuisine. It is a noodle dish topped with a think chunjang (blackbean paste) sauce, diced pork and vegetables. The texture of noodle was perfect for me. It was generously served and tasted light. I couldn't compare it with The Legend of Noodle's jjajangmyeon because I've never been there. But comparing to the instant jjajangmyeon that I usually eat, the instant one was tastier than this.

Meun Tangsuyuk (매운 탕수육) - IDR 165 K
Tangsuyuk is a Chinese sweet and sour pork dish adapted Korean taste. It can also be made with beef. This is tangsuyuk with sweet, sour and spicy sauce. We ordered the small portion but actually it was not that small. The serving plate was big and almost full with tangsuyuk.
This one was definitely the highlight and winning dish. The pork was moist and juicy. The sauce was finger lickin' good. I was satisfied and full.

Overall, I was satisfied with the food, especially the Meun Tangsuyuk. I plan to come back here to try their Jjampong and other menu.

Bihun Goreng (Fried Vermicelli) - IDR 38 K
This dish was a stir-fried vermicelli served with vegetables, scrambled egg, squid, fish balls, chicken liver and chicken gizzard.

Cumi Goreng Tepung (Fried Calamari) - IDR 42 K
I thought the breading needed more seasoning and the squid itself was a little bit tough to chew.

Fuyunghai Kepiting - IDR 53 K
This one used crab meat for the filling. Unfortunately, I couldn't really taste the crab meat. The sauce was sweet. This was not so bad but I just don't like it.

Gurame Asam Manis - IDR 95 K
This dish was a deep-fried gourami fish served with sweet and sour sauce. The fish had thick meat and the sauce was ok.

Lindung Cah Fumak - IDR 48 K
This dish is one of my favorite dishes. Yummy.

Overall, it was not that bad in taste. But I think it was too pricey for such an ordinary taste.

Bakmie Goreng Malay - IDR 35.2 K
This one was the winning dish for me! It had a smokey fragrant and incredibly delicious. A good combination of salty, sweet and spicy. This is a must try menu!

Lumpia Udang - IDR 60.5 K
With a generous amount of shrimp filling and the crunchy breading, these was undeniable.

Lindung Kumak - IDR 49.5 K
The seasoning of the veggie was good and the accompanying fried eel was also great.

Cumi Cabe Garam - IDR 41.8 K
This chilli salt squid had both a good texture and taste. The squid was neither chewy nor smelly. Only one down point was the fried chopped garlic which tasted a little bit bitter.

Bistik Sapi - IDR 52.8 K
This was a fried beef steak served with fried potatoes and sweet and sour sauce. Beef was not dry and still juicy. But I think the sauce and seasoning can be improved.

Overall, I was completely satisfied dining here. The food was delicious with reasonable price. I will come back for sure to try another menu.
