Bakmi Karet Planet is one of my fav noodle! What I love about this noodles is its texture. I clearly remembered my first bite on this noodle. It was on my university year, they got this bazaar, and you could choose tons of food outside, lining up ready to serve. I tried this Bakmi Karet Planet for the first time, it was Chasiu sprinkled on top, and it was amazing. This is actually my first time eating home-made noodles that actually quite representing its name "karet". The noodles was bigger than the regular noodle, but not like fettuccine, and it was gooey and chewy, absolutely not soggy since they separate the soup too from the noodle. Taste tasty enough even if being eaten alone without the soup. This noodle has been one of my regular ever since. Most of the times I ask for delivery if I'm feeling hungry, and you know, wanted to have some relaxing time at home after work and tutoring some kids, watching some comedy TV series and eating some noodles. Yum yum yum.

AMBIENCE:

This place got warm ambience, with some cute grandma and some women graffiti-ed on the white brick wall. We got our own pot to boil some water and cook the food, just like what you can find in most of restaurants serving suki.

FOOD:

We ordered their seafood combo, veggies, and also some pork belly. We got 2 different broth, one chicken and one shark fin. The different is the shark fin soup is a bit tastier than the chicken, and the chicken broth was clearer in color, and more plain in taste compared to shark fin broth. Their seafood was fresh and yummy. Their veggies too. What I wanna highlight is their sauce. Heaven of sauce! You're able to pick sambal, tomatoes, chopped garlics, peanut sauce, siomay sauce, and even cilantro leaf (I know, they got different name here but I always forgot what to call it in Chinese). Cilantro. One of my favorite herbs that made Tom Yum and Salsa sauce so delightful. You can get a handful of those here. Combine it with the sauce and put it in your soup. Yum! Their pork belly was also beautiful. They made thin slices out of it, so golden brown and crispy for the skin and so smooth and tender for the meat. Mouth-watering indeed. Their dessert was rather unusual. They use Chinese herbs and one that you can find in Chinese medicine for soup on it. One was like tofu and one like jelly.

SERVICE:

Qtalk is a bubble tea shop. You can find them anywhere, includes in Bandara. We tried their Kumquat Lemon Juice. It was so refreshing, a bit sour but in a good way. The portion was standard. The price was okay, it actually a light drink, pretty good to be drank when you're thirsty.

This Roti'O is kinda like its competitor, Roti*o*. The place was quite small. Bread stall. But you can smell their good coffee when you're passing by.

They got a pretty good coffee bun. The portion was okay. The coffee is not too overpowering, the aroma were really nice. It was soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. But I taste just a little butter inside.

So when you eat at Zenbu, you gotta pick the right time and menu. If you come here at peak hours, the waitress were just not delightful, but if you came here while this place isn't so crowded, you'll get a fast service. The food is quite delicious too. And has a very appealing presentation. The rice is soft and smooth, the veggies were much, the beef were soft smooth and tasty, and the eggs were delicious!

Craving for chicken snacks and want to try something new. So I tried their chicken and their drinks. BBQ chicken for 40k, when I looked the pic, I thought it would be big, but turned out it was quite small for its price. The taste was okay, the chicken fried okay too. We had to wait for quite awhile though there's only one or two customers other than us. The bubble drinks were quite refreshing, though. Tried their Honey Lemon (20K), asked for less sugar and the sweetness were okay, taste sweet and sour.

Dim Sum Inc has an upbeat ambience for hanging out. It also opened till late. I tried their Shiu May [Rp.22.900] and Apple Tea [Rp.25.000]. Their dim sum were okay. The portion was a bit small, the texture was so-so. The chilli were nice. The service, unfortunately, was quite slow.

Hoka Hoka Bento was rebranding, their named changed to HokBen and they did some renovation on their interior and the made the price more expensive, to fit its new image of cafe-like, which I actually think is not really a good idea. But talking about food, I'm in love with their rice, egg chicken roll <3, and beef teriyaki. I always ordered their simple set (packet hemat) or beef teriyaki set, along with teh botol. They mayonnaise is one of the best! Combine it with their salad, I think it is safe to say that side salad of HokBen is one of the best amongst its competitor. Talk about their rice, you gotta try it first along with the beef or the egg rolls, then you could find yourself eating it all up in no time :)

J.Co serves you a very light airy doughnut. Which I love! Sweet, light dough and playful toppings. The dough melts in your mouth, and were smoother that its competitors.

My favorite were the chocolate glaze and almond. Their chocolate were so amazing, not too sweet and the glaze were so attractive too. Their almond were crunchy and delicious!

Their price was affordable too. It only cost you around 70K for a dozen, or 119K for 2 dozens.
