Makan disini pas dinner, suasananya sangat sangat nyaman untuk nongkrong lama. Makanannya datang dengan relatif cepat. Rasanya juga sangat otentik jepang. Very reccommended! Pelayanannya sangat ramah dan baik (ngobrol ngobrol dengan servernya, atas nama mba Fia yang ternyata juga suka KPop, baik banget)

Rasanya sangat hangat dan comforting banget. Nasinya lembut pulen ga kelembekan, salmonnya banyak dan seger, rasanya bener bener comfort food. Sangat rekomen

Chicken thigh kusiyaki
Daging pahanya lembut, matangnya pas, masih juicy dan gurih. Harganya juga murah untuk ukuran sate yg ginuk ginuk

Cheese potato mochi
Rasanya lucu, kaya perkedel keju tapi lebih halusss. Cocok buat snack

Assorted tempura
Tempurnya garing, isinya juga ga cuma tepung doang. Enak buat cemal cemil

Lokasi resto ini agak tersembunyi di kawasan Plaza Senayan, di lantai basemen masuk dr food hall.. Resto ini lumayan luas setelah di renovasi

Resto ini menyajikan yakitori yang sangat enak.

Kinoko Mushi - mixed mushroom baked in pot, makannya dikasih peresan lemon, enak.
Oyakodon Reguler - rice bowl dengan topping ayam dan telur
Ramen - Kaldu ayamnya gurih dan enak.
Tebasaki Karage - sayap ayam goreng dengan saus asam manis

Untuk yakitorinya aku pesan dibakar dengan bumbu manis :
Kokoro Tare - chicken heart
Momo Tare - chicken thigh
Nagima Tare - chicken and green onion
Tsukimi - chicken meat ball

Sebagai desseet, aku pilih warabi Mochi - enak banget

For best value for money, do come during lunchtime as they have sets available. We specifically wanted to order these two dishes and both were only available ala carte so we went with that option. You still get complimentary chawanmushi at the beginning.

Umena Tendon (120k) 7.5/10
Batter was very nice, thin, airy, and crispy. You can really feel the crunch when you bite into the tempura. Japanese rice was super pulen as well (really a huge compliment cause I dislike rice😂). What really elevates the dish is the sweet sauce drizzled on top though, very tasty to eat with the rice just on its own.

Sake Miso Kamameshi (128k) 7.5/10
Enjoyed this more than I thought considering I am not a huge fan of rice. Generous with salmon and the roe without tasting fishy. Just make sure to mix it really well otherwise the miso paste is going to be uneven and you’ll have some salty some bland parts. The burnt bits at the bottom are truly the best part. Recommend to eat this with kushiyaki or in my case the tempura as it can get monotone.

Kamameshi-nya enak banget no debat hampir mirip kayak yg di Torigin Ginza Tokyo, cuma bedanya ini rada lbh asin, terus aroma rebungnya sdikit kurang dibanding yg di Tokyo. Tp enak bgt beneran. Dari dulu nyari2 kamameshi yg autentik ga nemu2, akhirnya sudah ketemu, senang sekali. Dulu ke berbagai restoran di Jkt semuanya fail, rata2 cuma nasi pake telor orak-arik dan kecap manis dong wkwk.

Kake soba juga enak. Rasanya gak macem2 tapi enak rasa kaldunya.

Yakitori enak tp ya agak standar. Masih kalah sama yakitori di tempat chain sushi-terenak menurutku (restoran sushi yang ada dekorasi kabut2nya ituu hehe).

Bakal balik lg demi kamameshinyaaa.

The setting was comfortable with a Japanese traditional open kitchen concept gitu. Di lunch time, banyak orang Japan yg makan disini. Cocok buat klean yg mau cari jodoh canda doh😂

Dalem 1 set ini lengkap dari miso soup, chawan musi; ini enaa.. dashi nya josss😩
Side salad; mini sized salad, 2 yakitori skewers; well seasoned, perfectly cooked, the chicken was juicy yet the skin remained crispy, THE CHAMP✅ theres also some kind like acar (?) again we’re sorry we forgot this one too🥲 too busy makan sampe kenyang😢😢😢 ehe. Terus ada buah potong and the last but not least.. dessert. We got ogura ice cream which quite bland yet refreshing👌🏼

The seasoning for the tsukune was umami, salty and sweet. Perfect balance. Similar to the one for salmon ya. But for us salmon was better than chicken it had some texture but still moist🤤

Emg udah lama penasaran sama tendonnya soalnya d indo belom nemu yang enak. Pesen yang mix udang sama vegetables. Isinya banyak banget dan ternyata ada ayamnya juga dapet 2, menurutku kebanyakan sih ayamnya. Tempuranya oke sih, saosnya juga enak apalagi dituang ke nasinya yang supeerr puleen👌🏻👌🏻 tsukunenya ok lah
Ke sana pas hari Minggu. Rame banget sih untung masih ada seat waktu itu jadi ga antri. Pas pulang br cek bon dicharge 2 items yang kita ga pesen. Akhirnya wa ke restonya dan direfund

Restoran nya sepertinya selalu ramai jam makan siang weekdays. Makanannya juga enak enak terutama yang Kushiyaki nya. Rasanya lebih kearah otentik asli jepang juga. Tempatnya nyaman, porsi sedang saja tidak besar. 

Location wise quite hidden as a few traffic passing by (esp on weekend) but it seems to always full when I was going to other restaurants next door. After years of curiosity finally I got a time to try. They specialize in Kamameshi and skewers. A bit of retro ambiance with the decor and they played old Japanese songs too. Kamameshi itself is a dishes popular in the late Taishō period, amplify visitor to be back in pre-war era Japan.

Ordered:
Gomoki Kamameshi (9/10): It is a rice claypot cooked with soy sauce and choices of protein (mine was chicken and seafood). A rare to find in Jakarta and my first time tried it as well. It has unique taste and happy to be back again trying other options.

Nankotsu with Soy Sauce (8/10): An Izakaya staple of chicken cartilage. Didn’t expect the portion to be this small when take into account the price of 29.8k++. Thankfully it taste great, would be 9-10 if it was larger 😂
