Roma Osteria & Bar

Heard conflicting reviews about Roma but imo the foods were decent, though standouts’ are the zeppole and ricotta . Ambiance were super chill though, which is reason enough for me to keep coming back.

Cow Milk Ricotta (135k) ⭐️9/10
Must order when in Roma. The sweet-salty combinations were 💯, plus ricotta was super smooth and creamy. The mountain honey was very fragrant as well.

Zeppole (90k) ⭐️8.5/10
Reminds me of beignet just in different form. Zeppole is made using puffy dough using choux pastry and deep fried like doughnut, only the insides are hollow. Traditionally served with sugar icing, Roma served this with nutella sauce and whipped cream. The chocolate sauce was quite thin and didn’t really taste like Nutella though. Highly recommend to eat this while hot.

Bucatini Amatriciana (185k) 7.5/10
Favourite pasta in Roma as it’s very flavourful. Yummy, yummy guanciale, nice thick cuts with strong and rich flavour. Tomato was quite sour and sauce definitely had some heat. The only downside is I think they didn’t give enough pecorino.

Angel Hair Truffle (225k) 7/10
Reminds of of lighter version of Osteria Gia’s truffle pasta (less eneg for me). Strong truffle scent as well. Extra point for managing not to overcook the angel hair🤣.

Crab Rigatoni (225k) 6.5/10
Tomato based sauce with crab meat, a bit sweet, sour, and spicy. Generous amount of crab meat, tasted fresh and not fishy too. In a way kind of similar to the amatriciana but I prefer that one.

Bigne (95k) 6.5/10
Had high expectation but didn’t quite deliver. The choux was too hard and dry. They were very generous with both the ice cream and pistachio sauce, however flavour got flat after a while.

dan salted caramel chocolate cake nya juga enak manis nya ga manis banget, cocok buat yg ga terlalu suka coklat tp masih mau makan coklat gitu

Buratta Pizza nya favorit banget sih!!

Dipanggang nya wangi banget, tekstur nya ga terlalu tebel, ga tipis pas banget.


Buat pasta nya, oke lah.. so so.

Caesar Salad nya surprisingly ENAK! Gw dulu ga pernah merasa caesar salad di bbrp resto itu wow. TAPI ROMA OSTERIA PUNYA WOW!
Rahasia enaknya ada di cheese pilihan, dan ada fried anchovies yg which is ngeblend banget loh sama sayurnya.

Suka banget vibes dan music nya di sini, cocok banget buat hang out and spend weekend di sini!
Tapi buat cocktailnya, menurut gw dari 3 yg dipesen, ga ada satupun yang gw suka..(padahal semua rekomendasi dari resto)

Roma osteria ini lokasinya di sequis tower. Tempatnya bagus deh, dia deket taman gitu jadi ada area yang indoor dan semi outdoor. Interiornya modern tapi ada sentuhan classicnya juga. Tempatnya nyaman banget aku suka deh suasana  disini, kekinian, keren, betah deh disini. 

Roma osteria ini masih 1 group dengan union. Menunya cukup bervariasi. Aku dan keluarga coba beberapa menu diantaranya : 
- tiramisu : wouw ini tiramisunya enak juga loh, aku lupa pastinya seperti ini ada alkoholnya. 
- spaghetti carbonara : carbonara disini tidak terlalu creamy, ada campuran egg yolk, keju khas italia dan topingnya pork cheek. Enak deh ini spaghettinya al dente, tasty dan pork cheeknya juicy.

- homemade angel hair : angel hair disini house made jadi mereka bikin sendiri, al dente, dan mix with light butter sauce and black truffle. Simple but tasty!

- tartufo nero : one of the best seller pizza. Tipical pizza yang tidak terlalu tipis dan tidak terlalu tebal, topingnya mozzarela, alba black truffle, fontina cheese dan scramble egg. Enak ini cheesy dan creamy. Tekstur pizzanya empuk

- zeppole : dessert khas italy, kayanya aku baru nemu menu ini di Roma osteria ini. Jadi ini roti goreng tapi lapisan luarnya tipis, dalamnya tidak padat, berongga dan teksturnya agak kenyal, mirip seperti propertjes. Disajikan dengan sauce nuttela dan whipped cream. Enak banget menurutku. Wajib coba! 

- untuk minuman kita coba piccolo,  strawberry smoothies, sama ada 1 cocktail yang aku lupa namanya. Tapi overall semuanya enak

Well, puas deh lunch disini, selain makanannya yang enak, tempatnya juga bagus dan nyaman. Next time pasti balik lagi kesini

Sudah kesini mungkin 4-5x? Home delivery mungkin udah 4-5x juga? Super love their angel hair pasta with truffle, and bisa additional pork cheek juga enak. Pizza truffle with portobello mushroom juga enak and tiramisu juga enak banget. Shrimp juga ok, Burrata juga enak, Prime shortrib with balsamic nya juga enak. Oh iya, dessert mereka semacem bomboloni juga enak (lupa namanya apa)
Jadi hampir semua makanan yang dicoba ga failed. Service juga ok. Harga masih ok utk ukuran restoran union group.

For those of you who want to hang out in Jakarta after work , this place maybe good idea to come. Roma osteria is located Sequis Tower Ground Floor in the middle of Jakarta city Office. This bar services western food with a verryyy good taste , dedicated for simpel pleasures eating and drinking😍 I am so satisfied. This place good for casual dining, ROMANTIC dinner , Hang out, Bar and lounge. Home cooking by Chef Luca Pezzera 🥰
