Came here because we wanted to see the place and taste classic Javanese Dutch dishes. Keep your eyes open and be alert if you want to visit - the place is kind of hidden on plain sight. Seriously lokasinya very unlikely and nothing actually giving away the place. Also the entrance is hidden.. found "do not enter" sign in places but truly the main entrance is the little yellow door to the right side 😂 hidden, looks like they are not open and no sign.

But the interior is very unique, indeed was a traditional colonial house with genuine materials and furnitures. It is even mentioned not to drag the chairs but to lift them up. They also creaks here and there. We went in at 12 and were the first one in - although the few tables filled up later in the day.

They serve quite a range of food and ended up trying recommendation from the server - bistik djawa and chicken steak. They tasted great actually, bistik djawa has the bistik chopped, which i enjoy less than the chicken steak. Eating here reminds you of classic Java-Dutch cuisine in Braga Permai / Rendezvous. The portion is also quite big. Their poffeetjes were also good!

We sat for some time and ordered rounds of drinks (tea and coffee), took some pics inside and on the balcony before leaving. They are quite famous for the coffee too, which the server mentioned is quite strong. Do recommend to visit for the experience (unique space), good food with fair price!

Had family dinner and wanted something soothing so went with chicken herbal soup. It was the perfect choice and everyone was happy with it! As usual everything is fresh and delicious, we enjoyed everything thoroughly!

We did reserve a table and got in right away although it's not as packed. Service was swift and attentive. Additional order also came shortly after order. Overall think the prawn paste tasted ordinary, the rest was exceptional.

Kalau suka dengan roti jadoel dengan tekstur lembut, do try Potadou out. Memang kurang hype dan lokasinya jg di ruko pasar 8 alam sutera aja tapi rasanya YUMZ!

Went there on weekend afternoon - tapi opsi rotinya sedikit. It's quite unfortunate but perhaps also does not matter karena rotinya ga bisa tahan lama. 1-2 hari kl gasalah selebihnya perlu di freezer.

Beli yg keju and oreo, and both are superrrr good!! Generous and tasty filling, and the bread - soft and just tiniest gumminess which is PERFECT.

Do hope they have more stocks and variations, will definitely be back

Back here again pas pengen hotpot, pesen the usuals sup tiga kombinasi, daging2an tidak lupa sapi khas haidilao dan saos ala haidilao (minta dibikinin) 😋 yum did not disappoint!

As usual puas lah makan disini rasanya konsisten dan kenyang sama cemilan2nya juga. Our fav adalah suikiaw babi udang - must try! Makan sekali lahap, pas digigit ada kuah yg meleleh dr dalam suikiawnya, what an experience! Umami bomb 😍 so glad we tried and ever since selalu pesen. Pas kesana kali ini ga ada jamur yang bisa diambil di counter pdhl enak juga..

Do sign up for membership too! Kita makan beberapa kali with family and friends dan dapat poin yg cukup lmyn untuk bayarin makan kali ini, ultra happy ☺️☺️

Here for light bites on weekend afternoon. Ga begitu rame tempatnya tapi disuruh book dan DP dl (large group) but okay deh biar safe..

Sebetulnya udah ngincer mau pesen basque cheese cake BUT GA ADA 😭 so sad jadinya pesen fries aj sama chilli dumpling. The food took its sweet time to arrive to the table ya. Simple dishes (my group ordered burrito wrap, salad, beef noodle, burger) took so long to come but luckily we are not in a hurry or hungry.

Taste wise jg biasa aja sih honestly nothing noteworthy. The chilli dumpling yaaa very spicy 😂 kebanyakan chilli oil digarnish diatas dumplingnya. They even serve the same chilli oil as companion for the beef noodle jg 😂

Did not take pic of the tea BUT gile sih 1 portion tea cost 30k and they serve it on a borosilicate coffee server with open lid - not even half full 😅 It was very sad looking, and cm bisa refill 1x 🥲 so I'd assume maybe dijatah 500ml buat 1 porsi dibagi dua... just maybe not refill and do 1 serving and size of the teapot&cup as well 😅 and the tea actually lmyn fragrant.. did sampling sniff dulu so we knew but the taste of brewed tea was actually pretty light (too diluted for my taste)

Got to complement their waiter though, very attentive (suggesting our second dumpling buat pisah chilli oil cos she saw kids) and also offering to bring their tea selection for us to sniff when picking out from menu. We were offered seating too when waiting to be picked up. Very good service.

So would suggest to come for coffee (bar looks legit) and dessert (hope they serve full menu) - gorgeous place and lovely people.
