Tempura Tendon Tenya has been a specialist for tempura dishes. They have several tempura menus started from Tempura Tendon untuk Tempura set. In this fasting month, i was with some of my friends had a day breaking the fast together at there. we ordered some different menus while it has a Ramadhan package. once order food we got a wakame salad, jelly and drink Ice tea. from food, it's ok, Tempura is quiet good, portion is quiet enough for dinner, and miso soup is fine as well. But one thing is the Squid is too chewy, it's like take quiet time to finished it. But all over is good. Let's say if you're tempura lovers, this place is quiet recommended for you to try~

Itadakimasu, by the name we know this is Japanese concept restaurant. Actually they are specialist in curry dishes. My first time try since it is been trending around the town. As looks on social media, everyone eating this and posted many cute pictures.

For my curiousity, i think to visit there with my cousins. Actually foods are looks cute indeed. curry with lovely rice in panda shape, and each menu has story such as starving panda or sleeping panda. 

It has quiet full enough portion for one person, but what disappointed is taste absolutely not recommended, curry is thick enough but it is too salty and i can't taste it is curry. As curry specialist this should be lame.

Place is quiet good, cute bright color and minimalist. Service just fine, nothing much compliment neither complaint.

Cute, lovely place. it's obviously from its interior, concept and all stuff there.bright yellow color is an icon. it's one of famous spot for having dessert. Indeed they have many various of ice dessert start from shredded ice, shaked ice, ice cream or even mixed. i was with some friends last night, we had Nutella bomb, one mixed grass jelly with green tea ice cream, big boba, red bean, mochi, taro and sumo bomb ball and also sumoboo kakigori. from taste, all dessert absolutely delightful, colorful and cold! My favorite is their green tea, it's taste real green tea, not sugar sweet.

Thai food is one of my favorite type of culinary. Thailand food is popular by sour and spicy taste. Seafoods one of best dishes we found in Thai restaurant. In town, Jitlada is one of restaurant i recommended. Jitlada is specialist in Thai cuisines. From it concept, Jilada has offering many variant of traditional foods of Thailand, either appetizer, main course, meats, vegetable and even desserts and drinks.

Jitlada has open in several malls in town. I had been tried some of it actually, but in this chance i'd like to tell one at the Grand Indonesia Mall. From it place, it's obviously in Thailand theme, typical ornament, the chair and tables in classic style by wooden, feels like in typical Thailand bistro. All waiters wearing Thailand attire, so it does has Thai symbian.

So i ordered some foods during my dinner, i was just order few of main course, and here it is.

It is Tom Yum Koong, famous Thai Sour & Spicy soup. Usually, this soup using few kind of seafoods like prawn, squid, or fish. But in Jitlada, they are serving each soup is for one person only and the only sea creature i found there is only a prawn and some of mushrooms, few seasoning leaf. From taste, it is good sour and spicy, great seasoning. But one bowl is not full enough for my tongue to taste :-) Then we have Basil Beef.

 It is pan fried minced beef with crispy basil leaf. Beef taste great, nice seasoning, some chilli made spicy and smell of basils really good. And last dish is Mayonaise Soft Shell Crab.

Fried shell crab looks stunning. It is very crispy, but just little under seasoning, even though its served with mayonaise sauce, but more seasoning for the crab should be better. 

And also, there's a smell of scorched. Taste like, the oil used before to cook another dish. I am not sure if it smells from the crab but it does affected the crab under seasoning. All over foods are good, but the crab can get better i hope :). Basil beef is one of best. Place is fine, even though the lights bit obscure, but it is suitable with the concept restaurant. The price, it is not cheap as traditional food compare if visiting Thailand, we may found their foods much cheaper just like street foods here. But as it restaurant, we pay more for better service and place :-). Thai food lovers, should try this at least.

As the title, yes i was waiting over a hour for having lunch dim sum. Lately, there's new opening Dim Sum restaurant in PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) one of most trend hang out spot in North Jakarta. First, i did not have a plan to take a dim sum, but since my plan going to another cafe for lunch was disappointed, in 11.00 am the waitress said the menu was not ready, I think when you're ope the restaurant, you should have set all foods ready.

So i just went to Tim Ho Wan, one of restaurant with one Michelin star in town. It's specialist in Dim Sum menu. I was surprise when get in the restaurant and it was absolutely crowded. I just ask the waitress how many customers before us, she asked to wait on the 3rd floor. Then i took an elevator just going up, and what even shocking, got around 30-40 people up there same as me waiting for turn to having lunch.

Such a crowded and loud sounds, everyone talking and some complaining how long they've been waiting.Absolutely over a hour until my turn. After long time, finally i got my chance to start a lunch. We juts go back downstairs and ready or our table. We were just order fourth the special menu in Tim Ho Wan. First Pan fried carrot cake, i am not sure how to described this food, it juts looks white, bit fried surrounding the dish. But what i know this is very good! Natural sweet and typical taste of this dish.

Next food is Steamed Egg Cake. it's beautiful color and like a sponge cake but it's very soft and taste egg indeed. Also i had a Vermicelli roll filled with pork liver. For me not fan of liver, i can't say it is delicious. But my friends said it's good! so i assume if you're meat lover you would love this.

Last food i had there was Baked bun filled with BBQ pork. this one of my favorite dish there. the bun absolutely good texture, taste soft and sweet. Perfect with pork filling with very good seasoning, salt sweet taste mixed in it, melted in mouth.

I can say this one of good restaurant specialist burger. Huge burger with various choice, don't forget french fries. Place is fine, just like normally fast food restaurant. 

Service is fine as well, not really friendly but what unique is in certain time, all the waiter & waitress would be dancing with fun cheeky song. Price is not for you save month budget, each person would be spend about Rp 100,000 with drink. Even some burger are over than that. 

But what i am saying, it's worthed high price for huge tasty burger is absolutely pleasure!

One of i recommended spot in Ambassador Mall. Even though CO3 cafe at the corner side, but it appears turned out better. We could see city view right up through the windows. Place much suitable for hanging out with companies, friends, mates or family. i have tried some menus e.g. Fried Chicken Rice with Basil, it's originally Indonesia Fried rice but it does smell really good with basil leaf and completed with tasty piece of chicken. Then i had Fish & chip which is good crunchy and i had green curry with rice, it's absolutely have nice seasoning and flavor. All over foods are good, and it won't cost a lot. It much reasonable price than other mall restaurants. Don't forget also to try their various drinks, i had Vanilla Grape Yoghurt that time, it cold delightful taste. Sure i'll have another time there~

Just by the name, we know this restaurant is one of typical chinese indonesia restaurant. The place is easy to found around Daan Mogot Street, you would see many cars parked from the outside.

This is not an exclusive restaurant, it just a wooden with semi concrete wall, and no air cond here btw. But don't worry the restaurant not just edge of the street, it is about 3-4 meter inside.

From  the outside, we could hear loud voices of people talking, ordering and cooking. Sounds like everyones are talking each other in here. Place is just fine like typical restauratan in small town, no exclusive table, no formal attire of waiters, we just sit on table with paper based and we ready for order.

Even though service not great, but i may say they work fast. only took about 10 minutes, foods are ready even there's many customers coming. Food are good, tasty, absolutely has authentic taste that we couldn't find in formal chinese restaurant.

Price not really cheap for home classic food, i remember couple years ago not this expensive. But times is pass on and everything comes costing, so just go with it. I sure would c0me back here for many times.
