Have you tried Peranakan cuisine? I’ve tried some, but this was my first time trying @rantangmalaka ‘s Peranakan foods. The Malaka Crispy Chicken is seasoned with some spices (very similar to Sambal Matah), it’s quite tasty, the chicken and rice quite fragrant from its spices, and it has loaded portion. But honestly i like the Butter Cereal Dory better than the chicken. There’s a lot of flavours in a box, sweet, savory, and the dory fish is very tender. All rice box include fried egg. Also i love their box design, and the packaging. They put tags on every box which lists the menus. And now they’re available in the outlet and also at Go-Food! The one and only @ikkudoichi ’s Halal Outlet! I’m not a ramen lovers, more like bakmi bangka person🤣 But this one is super classic and taste good to me! Been eating this since highschool, and i suddenly think why i never write a review about this ramen😂 Their ramen broth is really special, not too oily, salty, savoury and comes with a great portion. Also it’s quite affordable for ramen. Me and my friends were ordering Tori Kara, Tori Signature, Tori Karaagemen and Tori Kara Miso. No wonder they always have long q for these ramen noodles, cause its really worth the queue😋🍜

One of people’s favorite ramen! Finally i tried this Ramen with my bestie (cause she loves ramen to death). We ordered Toripaitan Ramen Extreme with Egg. By the name “Extreme” is actually their #1 favorite. Their broth are made from chicken broth, seafood oil mixed with vegetable oil that makes it more salty and savoury, and thick. But sadly, this one is not my best version of ramen. But since this is good, this worth to try!

💁🏻: So, this is called “Kue Pancong” or “Betawinese Coconut Cakelet” yes, it is originally from Jakarta, and many people eat it as breakfast/morning snacks. Nowadays, many outlets make Kue Pancong with a modern-making level. It usually topped by granulated sugar, but now it usually spread by nutella/ovomaltine jam, cheese, condensed milk, etc. And from picture above, that’s part of modern Kue Pancong but without the toppings. It isnt made from the grated coconut. But it still one of Jakartan’s favourite cheap street snacks! Don’t forget your coffee while you eat Kue Pancong! Yumm!😋
