After dine in, the waiter told me that Sushi! Kiosk is actually from the same company as Sushi Tei. The place was quite small. It's more like a to-go restaurants where they put on a display of sushi if you wanted to buy some and got home. Their sushi was actually not that bad. The taste and everything, but the freshness, I can't lie that Sushi Tei gave you better sushi. This is the economical choice, I guess. And one other thing, their wasabi was a paste, and wrapped in plastic like individual chili / tomato sauce. The price was affordable, so, not bad.

They made pretty good pasta! Every time I went here, I always ordered their pasta, or baked rice. Their pasta was cooked well enough, and the seasoning were always fine. Not too bold, not too plain. Their baked rice was smooth, gooey, and creamy. The place was quite cute as well. Made a resemblance with a barn, with a bit touch of vintage. Friendly waitress.

Ini sop buntut sungguh enak sekali :) Saya sudah beberapa kali kesini, terakhir kesini kemarin malam. Saya pesan Sop Buntut kuah (Rp.65.000), Iga Bakar (Rp.55.000), Mango Smoothie (Rp.22.000), Es Jeruk (Rp.11.000) dan Liang Teh (Rp.4.000). Yang menarik dari makanan disini, jujur aja, adalah kuahnya. Kuah kaldu yang aromanya benar-benar terhirup saat dicium. Di dalamnya, mereka mencampurkan wortel, kentang, dan tentunya micin yang banyak. Saya yakin karena itu juga rasanya jadi terlalu sedap. Minyak juga cukup banyak tergenang di atas kuah, namun hal tersebut cukup lazim dilihat, layaknya makan soto. Kemarin saya makan iga bakar, berdua dengan pacar satu porsinya, karena kebetulan, saya sudah makan malam. Tapi ya namanya juga suka makan, jadi makan lagi deh :) :p Iga bakarnya dimasak dengan baik, dagingnya lembut, dan cukup mudah untuk disiwir. Diatas daging, dituang bumbu yang menurut saya cukup luar biasa rasanya. Bayangkan sambal dicampur kecap dengan sedikit rasa BBQ. Kental, pedas, dan perpaduannya cukup seimbang jika dimakan dengan kuah supnya. Jangan lupa pakai emping, pakai jeruk nipis, siram kuahnya ke nasi, ceduk sedikit sambal dan daging. Bersantap rasanya sungguh sedap! Oh ya, ada satu lagi menu yang saya beli kemarin yang cukup nikmat juga, Mango Smoothie. Saya gak nyangka rasanya akan pas seperti itu. Rasa mangganya tidak terlalu mendominasi sampai waktu menelan tegukan pertama, langsung dapat merasakan campuran susu dan gula maupun sirup di dalamnya. Teksurnya halus dan dinginnya pas. Cocok buat penyegar tenggorokan sembari makan yang pedas-pedas.

This place is one of my perfect place to chill, having light conversations, or even read. This place located in a book store so the place were very conducive for you to relax and have a good time. My favorite spot was near the glass window, when you could spot people walking by downstairs or across the street.

I tried their mushroom soup, quite watery and creamy but unique at the same time. They're actually aware of this so they served you with a bigger semi plate bowl. Their pasta was wonderful, and their chicken breast were just amazing. Newest things that I tried here was their lava cake. It was good. The cake were soft and smooth, while inside chocolaty melt came right out with its goodness.

The waitress were friendly and nice. Sometimes when this place are crowded we had to ask more than once, but still considered ok.

Marugame is always been one of my fav udon. So this time, we tried their family's bowl which was so big! The taste were the same as eating in one bowl. But the sensation, were different. We got to take from the big wooden bowl in the middle with some kind of a giant fork which looked like a brush. Then, we put it into our own little bowl. Quite an experience!

This bakpao is a legendary bakpao! My mom one of their regular. If you're willing to buy and choose between all of their flavor, don't come later than 7.30pm, because they'll probably sold out most of their bakpao. I love to take it away, for next day breakfast. Love the chicken, chasiu, and tausa. The bread was so soft and smooth, and inside, when you eat chicken or other meat, you can pour sambal too. So delicious!

AMBIENCE

The room was a little bit small compared to Karawaci's branch. Their signature was red sofas. Yellowish lighting.

FOOD

We ordered four of their promo's menu that day, includes two Apple Lemonade. The drinks were just refreshing! Sour and sweet at the same time with a little bit of sodas. Their Caesar Beef Fusilli was okay, not bad but not that good either. Light in taste, they use salad toppings for the sauce. Which made this pasta taste more like a salad to me. Their Tor-tel-lini soup were quite delightful. My first fork just caught its mozzarella, stretched out long enough to make me had to cut it with the spoon. Yum.

Their pizza were just delightful of course. The cheese were yummy! the dough were great and the topping is just tasty.

SERVICE

Not bad for the service. Pizza Hut was one of the restaurants that trained their servers to a standard rule like bow, use friendly tone, use uniform, one server per table, and such.

AMBIENCE: 3.5/5

Went here because of the tempura specialty poster that posted in front. It was neat restaurant, Japanese style, with transparent glass separating the seats and their kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. The lights were quite yellowish, and the smell of fried tempura swirled amongst the room.

FOOD: 4/5

We tried their chicken rice and also their fried udon! The chicken rice were so delicious. Japanese sauce with a bit ginger that you can add on the side. Yum. Their fried udon was quite delightful on presentation. It was served on the hotplate, and this is my first time experiencing fried udon. It was quite wonderful!

SERVICE: 4.5/5

First waitress that taken our order were just the worst. I'm gonna give 1.5/5 for that if she's the one who served us till the end. Impolite manner. But then, afterwards, it seemed new waitress served us and she was like the best. So friendly, always smiling, came and filled our tea without being asked, and although she looked like she ran all the time because the place was quite busy, she not once forgot what we asked and came in appropriate amount of time, with her cheerful face and humble tone. Big tips we left for her. Haha.

This Re.Juve is basically a cold-pressed juice, you know, when you have this kind of machine at home, you have to shove down many fruits and the outcome juice were quite little. So it is fresh and healthy. They got quite many combination for the taste, we tried 3 of them:


[Green Almond Milk Rp.45.000]

It was the combination of almond milk, spinach, and almond coconut sugar. The taste was kinda weird at first, but you'll get used to it afterwards. It was thick, more like avocado juice in texture but milkier and smoother.

[Copacabana Rp.43.000]

Pineapple and coconut sea-salt. Taste a little bit like pina colada but with less milk. You can tasted the salt pretty well, actually it tasted familiar if you like to eat pineapple and wash it before with salty water.

[Orange-Carrot Rp.43.000]

Tasted like regular orange carrot juice. Thicker, of course but still watery like a juice not a smoothie.

This Dominos are one of my favorite fast-food pizza. I'm talking about their taste, about their service, about their price and promotion, everything. Not only that their taste was so tasty and delicious (I love their thin-crust pizza, cheese bread, and I didn't even afraid try new menus every time because it mostly tasted wonderful), they never ceased to promote new stuff!
