Yolk Belly

Salted Pork Belly with Rice. How often you find pork belly with salted egg? Not that often right? I did try this and it's quite good. Fatty and bit creamy from the salted egg yolk. However, it's not as good as the chicken one. 

The chicken was plump, juicy and crispy. The appriance wasn't as good as the pork one, but the taste was far tastier. So if you happen to come, I'd definitely recommend the chicken one.

To complete the bowl, they did give an egg, cassava leaf and a bowl of sambal matah. The egg wasn't runny enough. 

If it were, it'd taste even better. The cassava leaf was good. Soft and have such earthiness to it.

If you pass the stand, you'll realize that the stand is literally next to one of the biggest salted egg branch, so you may change your mind and buy that one instead. I'm here encourage you not to do that. Try this one, you can compare both of it and you'll find that they're completely different. They all have their own strength. 

Nyobain menu Hotplate Salted Egg yang isinya rame dan katanya buat 2 orang. Udah dapet nasi dan sambal matah, isinya cukup banyak dan cengli sih buat harga 85k. Rasanya sebenernya enak tapi cenderung biasa aja, cuma ga suka telurnya yang nempel di plate jadi kering gitu. Imho, enakan dimasak terpisah terus taruh di plate jadi ga berantakan sih.
Suasana karena di pasar gitu, gerah banget. Kotor sih ngga karena ada petugas yang selalu keliling buat bersih-bersih.

Taste was okay, but they use yellow yolk egg. Probably the dream of the millenial foodies, pofk belly and salted egg combined in a bowl. You can choose to have your egg half done. Around 50k per bowl.

Tertarik banget pas pertama kali denger Pork Belly dengan Saos Salted Egg karna biasanya Salted Egg dipadukan dengan Ayam. Dalam 1 menu itu uda dapet nasi putih, pork belly salted egg dan telor mata sapi. Rasanya sih gurih, cuman gua pribadi lebih suka chicken salted egg sih dibandingkan dengan ini. Tapi Worth to try lah.

Tempatnya ada di Food Plaza PIK dan bukanya di sore hari.

Cobain salted egg pork bellynya dan rasanya enak. Pork bellynya empuk dan salted eggnya juga pas rasanya. Apalagi dimakan pakai sambal matahnya. Suka banget sama sambal matahnya, enak.

Ada sayurannya juga. Kayak daun singkong gtu.

Kita penasaran banget buat cobain @yolkbellyjkt ~ Apalagi mereka merupakan The 1st Pork Belly Salted Egg di Jakarta! Ternyata oh ternyata, sangat cocok loh! Pork Bellynya garing dan gurih, Salted Egg disini tipe yang kering dan itu berasa banget ~ Dan uniknya disini mereka menyajikan dengan Sambel Matah! Matahnya enak bangett dan fresh, cabenya pedes ~ Bikin tambah nafsu makan loh. 😋😋 Selain itu mereka juga ada Chicken dan itu salah satu yang terbaik dari sekian banyak yang pernah kita coba!
