Sate Khas Senayan is one of the best place to have Indonesian cuisine. Though its name has "Sate" in it, sate is not the only culinary delights they offer. They offer various traditional dishes almost from every part of Indonesia, from Nasi Bali, Nasi Liwet, Nasi Uduk, Nasi Bakar, Soto, Sop and many others.

This place is quite roomy though will only hold a limited amount of people due to Covid-19 health protocol restriction. It's usually almost full especially during lunch time.

I had their Nasi Liwet for lunch. What came was more than I had expected. The meal was presented beautifully. Though Nasi Liwet is a common meal, "Sate Khas Senayan" has managed to elevate the dish up several notch. The plating has made "Nasi Liwet" feels classy.

On the taste department, their "Nasi Liwet" was tasty and authentic. The elements combined beautifully.

Remboelan is one of the best place to go for upscale Indonesian cuisine. Their restaurant is very decent yet the food is still offered in the affordable price range.

Their interior which were mostly made of wood gave a fancy atmosphere. Wooden ornaments on the wall also reinforce the vibe.

They offer various Indonesian delicacy such as Soto Betawi, Sate, Nasi Goreng Jawa and many others. The variety of the menu they offer will give you a decision fatique, but don't worry though as all of the food they offer are delicious.

Remboelan also had options to replace rice with shirataki. For those who are cautious of their calories intake, this will make your lunch felt less sinful!

I had their Nasi Goreng Shirataki which tasted great. Definitely deserve another visit.

Happy Cowlories is a new kid on the block. Located in the Tebet Barat Dalam area, this restaurant is certainly a fresh place to dine in. It has a lot of antiques decorating the place such as chandeliers, creepy tray and many others.

Happy Cowlories mainly offers steak and burgers. A few weeks ago, I had their Australian Tenderloin which came with salad, mashed potato and mushroom sauce.

The steak was juicy and tender. The chef managed to nailed the doneness perfectly, the medium doneness steak tasted great.

Definitely a must visit for steak in Tebet!

Warung Ngalam is a Malangnese restaurant in Jl. KH Wahid Hasyim. It is located just in front of a well known Japanese restaurant.

Warung Ngalam offers Malangnese cuisine loved by many. They offer Tahu Telor, Rawon, Asem Bandeng and many other interesting authentic food.

I had my Tahu Telor and Es Cendol for lunch today. The Tahu Telor came in a generous portion covered in vegetables and peanut. It also came with its signature sauce amplifying its taste.

Ayam Bakar Megaria is one of the tenant in the Metropole food court. Other than one of the best place to watch movies, apparently this complex is also perfect to grab a quick and delicious lunch!

I had their humble "Ayam Bakar" a few days ago. The prepared the food swiftly without sacrificing the taste.

In the taste department, their Ayam Bakar is quite sweet, Jogjanese style Ayam Bakar.

Definitely a great lunch!

Bonbin Terrace is an awesome find in Cikini. Located just above Tijikini Lima, we were greeted with "Kita berbeda dengan Tjikini Lima, ya."

I guess it's easy to mistakenly thinks that this place is an extension Tjikini Lima as the place used to be the second floor of the latter.

Bonbin Terrace offers a wide array of food. They have seafood, ramen, coffee, cocktails etc.

That time, I had their Miso Ramen which was a great meal! The broth tasted rich umami flavour, the chicken chasu was perfectly prepared and their soft-boiled egg was flawless. Tastewise, Bonbin Terrace managed to surprised me with their awesome ramen!

Sushi is one of the most missed food during PPKM. Ordering sushi out just doesn't feel right hence I haven't had sushi since the restriction of dining in.

As the pandemic situation gets better (or at least we hope it gets better), the government implemented a more relaxed restriction. A limited dining in a restaurant is allowed, though no more than 50% of the restaurant's capacity and only for 30 minutes at a time.

Sushi Tei in Kota Kasablanka is one of the first restaurant I visited. I had a lot of their sushi, including my favorite onigiri yakiniku and chuka wakame.

I don't think it's necessary to describe Sushi Tei's food as they are already well known.

Por Que No is one of the best place to get some dinner and chill out in Menteng Vicinity. Located in the top floor of a building with a spacious outdoor section, this place is best to visit during sunset. As they also serve alcohol, it would be an ideal date site to talk about the future.

Their spacious outdoor space is also decorated with assortment of things and murals makes Por Que No a unique place.

I went to this place a couple of days ago. Though the night is still young, PPKM restriction made Por Que No closed at 8 PM.

I had their Falafel Sandwish with a bottle of beer. The sandwich was fulfilling and perfect for those with special affinity to vegetables.
