Middle Eastern delicacy is something close to my heart. Upon learning that Cipete has D'Izgara that offers AYCE Middle Eastern style bbq with terra cota grill and charcoal, I just had to visit and unleash the carnivorous beast within.

D'Izgara is one of those ayce restaurant that's worth more than it's charging. All of the package they offer comes with the option to pick up various selection of Middle Eastern appetizers and deserts from the buffet. Though they are very tempting, don't let them distract you from the main purpose of your visit! (Though, I recommend you to try their sambosas and their egg dish. To note that they also have coffee machine!)

Bon(d) had their regular package which protein consist of marinated chicken, blackpepper beef, meltique beef, and Moroccan spice beef.

The grilling process was just enjoyable. The heat and meat met causing that satisfying crackling and sizzling sounds.

In the taste department, D'izgara is also winning. Their meat is just the best! Definitely worth another visit!

A cute coffee shop in the same floor as its sister, Midore Japanese Restaurant and Bersih Sehat. Midori Coffee has cozy interior with wooden floor, tables and chairs. A nice place to linger around enjoying a lazy day.

Midori Coffew coffee offers mainly coffee, tea and pastry. I had their Royal Milk Tea and croffle.

The Royal Milk Tea has the perfect balance of creaminess, sweetness and the taste of the tea. The sweet croffle was the perfect companion.

Life is strange sometimes #Tastebuddies, We took a wrong turn one day but rather than turning back, we decided to go on and find this cozy coffee shop in Tebet.

@darlinghabitsignature is located in the suburbs of Tebet. It has a cute interior, the kind that makes you feel like you're in your own room. It also has wooden floors that creaks when someone walks on them. It must be the same floors that Poe described in of his stories. Darling Habit also has a cozy outdoor section.

We had their Black Mamba and Mini Croissants. Black Mamba was a strong coffee with crushed oreos inside of it. The sweet and savory croissants definitely made our afternoon a better one.

Lisung Resto is a cozy resto to linger around located in Dago Pakar. It offers the beautiful horizon city view of Bandung and serenity. At night, you can hear cicadas and see the stars.

I went here yesterday, expecting just to enjoy lingering around. Aside from the scenic view, they're offering, the food was also great.

I had their Ayam Kecombrang with Pucuk Labu, Tahu Rawit and a drink called Nice Dream. Ayam Kecombrang was great, the Pucuk Labu part which was the vegetables compliment the savory taste of the chicken well. Tahu Rawit was also a great snack, though a tad bit too salty, its spicy and crunchy texture made it a great food to munch on while waiting for the main course.

Sir Loin is one of those restaurant in Jakarta bearing an elegant industrialist theme. The spacious restaurant with an ample amount of wooden tables and minimalistic chairs gave an aesthetic vibe. It also has a witty name, perfect for a restaurant with steaks as their speciality.

Bon(d) went to this place a couple of weeks ago for a lunch. We were craving for steaks and was interested with this place's reviews. Though Jalan Bumi is home to a lot of interesting restaurant, Sir Loin is among those you must visit!

Bon(d) had one of their shared steak selection which was drizzled in sizzling butter when it arrived in our table. It was priced by 100 gr, however the cut that came to us was enough for two which was probably around 400 gr. We also ordered their creamy spinach and mushroom sauce on the side and truffle chicken bites for appetizer.

The steak was great! They nailed the medium doneness of the steak. They managed to seared the crust on the outside with juicy inside. The sizzling butter increased the "smoothness" of the steak itself. The creamy spinach deserved a standing ovation on its own, the savory taste of the sauce definitely has made that lunch a better one!

Hey #Tastebuddies! A few weeks ago, we stumbled upon this aesthetic restaurant called Kolonial in the Menteng vicinity. Having interior dominated by red brick and wood surely has made Kolonial a cozy place to linger around in.

Kolonial has a spacious indoor section and a smoking room with a living tree in the back. Their parking space was adequate so finding a parking spot shouldn't be a problem.

Kolonial offer mainly western style food, but don't worry they also have various local culinary delights such as Panada. We had their pasta and Montreal Chicken with garlic cream sauce, and some calamary on the sides.

Their Montreal Chicken was a treat! The juicy chicken works well with the creamy garlic sauce. It also comes with baked potatoes on the side. I definitely recommend you to try this dish!

7 Speed Coffee is an edgy coffee shop in the Panglima Polim vicinity. It is quite spacious with a lot of ornaments that managed to make this coffee shop a homey place. Paintings, plants are aplenty in this place.

They offer various beverages such as tea and coffee, and also food that will make your mouth anticipate deliciousness.

Yesterday, I had their Peach Tea and Lasagna for brunch. The atmosphere made me linger for a tad bit too long, while the food added the lazy element to that day.

Saturdays is a cute coffee shop with a lot of pastel colours for their interior. It is located in Grand Indonesia next to a big glass windows from which you can practice "people watching". It is actually has become my favorite spot from all of Grand Indonesia.

They mainly offer snacks such as cookies along with tea and coffee.

I had their package of Earl Grey Latte with a large cookie. The Earl Grey Latte was perfect. The right amount of sweetness and creaminess. The cookie was chewy, a perfect companion for a slow day.

Shophaus Menteng is one of the best place to go if you want to have a great meal but you haven't decided what kind of meal to get. Shophaus is a collection of various restaurant with shared dining space. It has burgers, noodles, chicken wings, even gelato. It has also has outdoor sections in the ground and the second floor. Though it is quite spacious, Shophaus could get very crowded in peak hours.

I went here a few weeks ago, wanting to get a great dinner.The choices available overwhelms me as I wanted to try everything in Shophous. Alas, a man could only eat so much at a time so I decided to try Demie 69 which was located in the second floor.

I tried their Mie Karet Ayam Jamur and Liang Tea. The noodle was tasty. It was like if your typical 'mie ayam abang-abang' has managed to get a scholarship and passed its thesis defense with a great score. Definitely naik kelas.
