Lagi parah-parahnya ngidam sashimi, jadi pas ke PIK avenue langsung deh ke sini buat beli sashiminya. Well, it was not that crowded karena mallnya juga masi sepi but the selection was kinda wide. Looking at the price tag make me want to buy them all!
So I tried this platter for 59k. Consist of salmon nigiri, kani nigiri, salmon maki, kyuri maki, tamago maki, kani maki, a big chunk of tamago, tobiko gunkan, spicy salmon salad gunkan, ebi gunkan, unagi gunkan. The salmon was fresh but it lacked of buttery taste that I usually seek in sashimi. The tamago was very sweet, but I like it. Spicy salmon salad was good! Didn't get to try others because I bought this for share.
I also tried the individual sushi, such as chuka idako which is delicious and others salad gunkan. Overall, they manage to control the quality of the sushi eventho' it is a pre-made kind of sushi. The price itself to was cheap compare to sushi restaurant. Will come again and try the other station.

I was kinda confused with the low rating because Shin Men has been my favorite place to have ramen. Interiornya mostly kayu-kayu dan ada sekat-sekat yang divide between table.
My favorite menu is of course their speciality ramen. I always opt for the shin men soup which come from chicken broth. The broth was sooo thick and taste strong. Bisa minta miso soup buat cairin supnya dikit. I usually ask for cabe potong to make my ramen spicier. The best part of it is the delicious soup. The other item was mediocore but complete the soup very well.
Price wise it is still affordable compare to other ramen restaurant. They also serve a big portion eventho' I order the regular one. Waitress nya juga ramah-ramah banget. Definetely my favorite ramen stall.

Daridulu udah ngehits banget nih tongkrongan anak Jakartahhh. Still wondering how the mas mas bisa gain profit by selling 10k/portion. Mau ngga mau pasti bertanya-bertanya "daging apa nih???"
Anyway, emang dagingnya mostly tetelan dan tulang muda. Kuahnya santen, ngga begitu asin which is good karena mas nya sediain garam terpisah. Tambah kecap manis sama sambel biar makin enak. Apalagi tambah kerupuk warna-warni, favorite banget. Trus bisa request mau pake tahu/tempe.
For me 1 porsi udah cukup, apalagi kalo pake tempe (bukan pencitraan, perut saya karet lol). Biasa kalo abis makan syantikkk trus belom kenyang, boleh deh ke sini.

Kalo soal menu mozaru dan teppanyaki, sepertinya no doubt kalo Zenbu expert in those 2 menu. This time, karena lagi pengen makan sashimi I order Chirashi Bowl.
It contain rice topped with raw salmon & tuna, prawn, squid, tamago, avocado, and little bit of chuka wakame. The description look like a party in a bowl but and yes it is indeed. The picture might look like there wasn't enough sashimi but it actually quite a lot. Sashimi itself was not so fresh, the avocado was buttery good, tamago sweet and tasty, personally not into prawn so no comment on it, squid was tender, chuka wakame b aja and last but not least rice was good.
Service was good, fyi Zenbu just finished renovating their place into a more modern and wider place. Next time will stick with their mozaru or teppanyaki menu just because they serve it best.

Ke sini lagi because I was still can't forget the catfish salad. It was definetely a memorable menu. So this time I tried:
Catfish Mango Salad

Pesen ini lagi just because the catfish was super delicious and memorable.
White Tom Yam

Baru pertama kali nih nyobain tomyam yang warnanya putih. Well basicily sih bumbunya sama semua except they use coconut milk instead of regular water. Jadi rasanya kaya duh gimana ya to describe the taste. It was unique and different. I like it. Kalo disuruh pilih lebih enak merah apa putih, dua-duanya enak!
Rice with Chicken Basil

Jadi ini kaya menu khas Bangkok banget. Nasi putih, lauknya ayam cincang dimasak pake basil, dan telor ceplok. Ayamnya enak sih, sooo flavorful. Cocok banget dimakan sama nasi hangat.
Salted Egg Squid

Oke ini parah pecah pol. I like everything salted egg, so I might be bias. If this is healthy, I can eat this everyday

Came here for drinks and pizza, ngga sempet cek-cek soal restorannya so I was really impress with their exterior and interior of Sofia. Sofia itself was the restaurant located in the first floor, meanwhile in second and third floor is the Gunawarman hotel. We made a reservation beforehand, jadi pas dateng langsung bisa duduk. So, here's what I tried:
Welcoming Bread

Mediocore, b aja gitu. And they only give us a little slab of butter.
Quattro Formaggio Pizza

Size was relatively small compare to its price and topping. Isinya cuman keju yang tebal dan melimpah. Crustnya tipis dan rasanya manis. Their pizza suit my liking.
Sweet Corn Mocktail

Vanilla milkshake dengan toping butir-butir jagung, corn candy, dan cornflakes. One thing was weird, mereka pake es yang biasa dipake di warung tenda. Yang gede dan bolong tengahnya. I mean the glass was small, and yet they use a big block of ice. But, overall it taste good.
Tried my friend mocktail too which taste fresh and sour. Berry something and greentea something. All taste good and refreshing. The greentea one was definetely unique.
Service was top noch. Really like the ambience of Sofia. Will come again to try their cake selection.

Located in the ramen village, yang persaingannya seketat pertokoan mangga dua. Untuk menarik pelanggan, toko-toko mulai menawarkan promo-promo menarik. Well this time, I came to Tabushi yang letaknya persis paling depan.
Order their Chasiu Ramen, the portion was quite fulling. Kuahnya enak dan kental, irisan chasiunya juga suprisingly banyak, well telurnya setengah matang tapi tiba-tiba pas lagi aduk kuningnya ilang semua. Ditambah condimentnya seperti daun bawang, cabe rawit, bubuk cabe, dan irisan bawang putih jadi makin enak.
Overall, Tabushi ramen adalah salah satu ramen di kawasan ramen village yang tetap survive dengan mantain rasanya. Btw, di sini juga ada refill mie sepuasnya.

Jadi abis makan shantikkk di daerah senopati dan masi belom kenyang, jadi akhirnya melipir ke taman Suropati buat nyobain this famous fried rice. Honestly, nggabisa terlalu review banyak karena saya anteng di mobil. Yang turun pesen temen saya.
Saya pesen buat bawa pulang, 1 sterofoam penuh sampe tumpah-tumpah. Yang makannya banyak boleh minta nasi gorengnya dilebihin, kata mas-nya nasi gorengnya mah gratis. Untuk gila nya isinya sosis, baso, telur, yang diaduk-aduk pake kecap dan lain-lain. Pesen pedes jadi ada beberapa ranjau. Rasanya gurih banget, ya mungkin pake mecin kali ya. Karena saya abis makan langsung tidur jadi gak berasa kalo aus.
Untuk 1 porsi nasi goreng gila, saya cukup bayar 25rb which is masih oke lah considering mereka udah famous banget. Jadinya juga cepet karena nasi gorengnya udah ready, tinggal nunggu oseng oseng sama telor ceplok.
