Animale Restaurant

New restaurant in town, my first impression of ANIMALE looks - luxurious, earthy yet expensive (and yes it is!). Please do reservation in advance to avoid disappointment (open time: 5.30-10.30pm, and it's definitely a great place for having dinner with partner or friends). And please note that each reservation has time limit (2 hours max, like absteak so secure your place and use your time well!)

The service is great and attentive, they know their product really well. There's indoor and outdoor seating but definitely #indoorteam. I do have high expect for AB Groups. Let's start with their food!

From more to go around section, PORK CHOPS (395K) - tomahawks, smoked paprika, artichoke and champignon sauce. The pork chop comes in a big portion with exquisite looks, but sorry to say I expect more flavor from the pork itself, it's kinda bland. The sauce itself taste okay but more like indian curry rather than champignon and not as bold as I imagine before (6.5/10)

From #ditchyourboxedpasta section, MALLOREDUS (175K) - sage brown butter and truffle burro fuso, parmesan crusted bone marrow. Very familiar taste indeed and definitely the best dish for tonight. The pasta texture itself is unique, kinda chewy and looks like mac n cheese. That truffle - parmesan and bone marrow making this pasta to be an irresistible and savoury treat for the tastebuds! (10/10) 

From share the love section, FROG LEGS (120K) - buttermilk fried, smoked lobneh, spiced lime honey, celery. Great starter as the flavor combination is unique yet fresh. I hope the frog legs could be crunchier but overall nice one (thx for that sauce)! (8/10)

From rolled & baked section, TRUFFLE HUNTER (145K) - roasted mushroom puree, straciatella, roasted garlic, crispy sage and white truffle oil. I do have high expectation to that flatbread style pizzas. The smell is so truffly but somehow the cheese way too dominant (still searching for the strong truffle taste until the last bite), but it's quite good and eatable (7/10)

Last one -- From End it with a bang section, OOPS CHEESETART (110K) - molten center, camembert, gorgonzola. Highly recommended for the cheeselover, so creamy, rich in both texture and flavor, right amount of sweetness and cheese (as my friend didn't manage to eat more, so I end up to finished all of it) - but still sharing is caring, I won't be able to finish all by myself because it's super rich cheese lol (10/10) 

salah satu resto baru yang lagi hits sekarang!! kalau mau kesini, kalian wajib reservasi yaaa, karena dijamin full booked deh apalagi kalo weekend. resto ini cuma buka di sore hari sampai malem, jadi cucok banget buat dinner romantis gitu mereka punya 2 area yaitu outdoor dan indoor. outdoornya sebenernya cucok bangeeet, kalian bisa sekalian liat view kota jkt di malam hari, dan bisa banget buat chill gitu!! tapi sayangnya di outdoor lama kelamaan bakal berasa panas, mungkin harus pas malem banget supaya lebih adem. untuk indoornya, cantik bgt juga tempatnya. gak gitu gede, tapi full kaca jadi kalian bisa liat view jakarta. mereka juga ada konsep open kitchen, jadi bisa liat live chefnya masak pastaaa.
nah untuk makanannya, aku pesen beberapa menu mereka.
1. frog legs: ini konsepnya appetizer yaa. kodok goreng dengan fancy style hahaha kodoknya di goreng garing dengan tepung, dan dikasih bumbu spiced lime honey. kodoknya garing, tepungnya aja udah ada rasanya, bukan sekedar tepung hambar. nah untuk saos lime mereka yang berwarna putih, lebih ke arah asem, tapi gak asem banget sehingga kalau di campur dengan gurih dari kodoknya raasanya klop!
2. truffle hunter: pizza dengan mushroom pure serta telur yang di campur dengan truffle oil yang wangi bangeeeet, kebayang dong rasanya kayak apa rasa trufflenya bener-bener strong, yang suka truffle pasti puas banget dehh. dan pizzanya juga potongannya pas, gak ketipisan dan gak ketebelan. i like!!
3. malloredus: pasta dengan bone marrow yang bomb!! bone marrownya langsung di keluarkan dari tulang nya, jadi fresh banget yaaa. bone marrow di campur sama fresh pasta mereka yang udah di guyur dengan truffle oil, rasanya langsung klop. creamy dari sumsumnya buat pasta tersebut jadi semakin gurih. aku prefer ini untuk di sharing ya, karena rasa creamy nya mungkin akan buat beberapa orang akan enek kalo kebanyakan.
4. pork chops: pork chops ini bisa buat sharing! dengan saos smoked paprika dan jamur membuat rasa pork chop ini mirip sama makanan india. saos smoked paprika mereka sih, berempah gitu. meskipun potongannya besar, tapi dagingnya lembut dan gak dry.  
5. opps cheesetart: kalau kalian udah sekenyang apapun, harus tetep wajib pesen ini. cheesetart viral mereka ini lembut banget dan full cheeseeee. begitu masuk ke mulut, langsung meleleh. cheesecakenya creamy! ada rasa asin manis gurih deh lengkap
