JJ Royal Bistro

I'm not really a cronut person so instead of their cronut we went to JJ royal for their cakes and macaroons.

The black velvet cakes is not like red velvet at all it taste a lot like black forest. It consists of dark chocolate cakes with nice fluffy texture with yummy cherry sauce (with real cherry bites), the bittersweet black chocolate really balanced well with the sweet-sour cherry sauce. The other great cake was the richie rich, really loves the praline concept with smooth chocolate shell and the silky caramel filling that compliment the crunchy base well.

From all the desserts we ordered, the red velvet and churos was rather disappointing. The red velvet was meh, it taste more like ordinary sponge cake that was lack of cream cheese. I am not really loving the churros either, the outside layer has nice crunchy crunchy but the inside is goey, feels like it was undercooked. Last but not least, the macaroons were really reall good! It has nice crunchy texture which was literally crumbling inside your mouth. Some of my favorite flavor were carmelo, pralissimo and tahiti.
Overall, great service, great ambiance and great dessert, definitely coming back for their macaroons.

Gaberniat kesini tadinya, tapi setelah makan ramyeon no.1 di jepang ada ini disebelahny dan aku sama temen aku tertarik gtu karena tempatny yg cozy dan ada gambar" lucu kalau kalian duduk di sofanya^^

Kopinya enak wanginya juga enak, potato gratin dan pizzany jga tidak mengecewakan, pelayanny jga ramah^^

I really fall in love with this place. Not only love the ambiance, I love the food as well in here.
Actually me and my husband didn't want to go here 2 weeks ago. Our plan was eat ramen. But since that japanese restaurant was waiting list, we moved to JJ royal Bistro.
I've read from other reviews, marshmellow and sweet potato gratin in here's very recommended. So I ordered it. Beside that we ordered country fried steak, rendang calzone and tongseng kambing. Surprisingly, all the food are very tasty.
The country fried steakt is beef covered with bread flour. The beef still moist even the meat was thin. I like it. Dont forget to dip into the sauce. The homemade sauce's very good. Wow!

Tongseng kambing and rendang calzone were very good as well. The meat of rendang was so tender and tasty.

How about marshmellow and sweet potato? That one's my fav. A blend of sweet potatoes and marhsmellow tasted so perfect. It makes me drooling right now :) :)
The ambiance of this place is very unique and so colorful. I bet all of the girls will do a selfie as much as they want :)
I give 2 thumbs for the service. We were waiting so long for the calzone. And the store manager came to us and said sorry. She explained there something wrong in the kitchen. We said okay, because we didn't have any plan after eat. A minute later, a waiter came to us and gave us french fries. He said the french fries free for us as an apology. I really appreciate it .
Overall I had so much fun and good food in here. And of course i'd like to come here again

Tempatnya unik dan lucu. Dessert nya juga lucu untuk marshmallow nya lembut banget, pas sama sweet potato nya. Molten cocoa nya juga enak coklat banget. Services nya juga oke.

Suka banget sama interior disini. Unik, cantik dan ga basi! Semua serba detail kaya berasa ada di dunia dongeng, mulai dari kursi, wallpaper dll semua serba unik!

Suka banget sama cocoa apa gitu, semacam cokelat hangat dengan tambahan marsmellow enak banget sweet marsmellow potato nya juga enak cukup untuk berdua

tempat makan yang betempat di senayan city inii sangat unik.. dengan tema full colour dan gambar anime cewe dimana2 buat kita jadi penasaran sama tempatnya..
dari luar kita bisa liat etalase yg berisi kue2 dan macaron menggugah selera bangett..
tapi saat itu aku lg pengen makan siang jadi pesen burgernya..
aku pilih dagingnya welldone pake pork bacon.. dagingnya juicy bangett.. tp porknya agak terlalu keras.
