Monolog

Sehabis olahraga, aku biasanya engga suka makanan yang terlalu berat. Makan malam kali ini aku menikmati spicy tuna ciabatta sandwich with volcano egg (IDR 75K) dari Monolog. Untuk rotinya aku ganti ke roti gandum sebagai alternatif yang lebih sehat. Rotinya sendiri dipanggang sehingga teksturnya crunchy. Isinya sandwich ini ada daging tuna yang sudah diolah dengan sayur segar. Favorit aku adalah volcano egg, penyajiannya juga unik karena walaupun dalamnya seperti hard-boiled egg, tapi luarnya digoreng dengan crust yang renyah dan gurih. Untuk sidenya, aku memilih salad dengan nicoise dressing yang segar dan guilt-free.
Untuk ambience restoran ini, bisa dibilang cukup nyaman untuk ngopi dan ngobrol bareng temen temen. Tapi kalo udah weekend, tempat ini cenderung crowded dan agak berisik sehingga aga susah untuk ngobrol.

Ngemil sore di Monolog PIM. Tempatnya spacious, terbagi jadi indoor dan outdoor spaces, dan keduanya sangat luas. Kemarin gue di luar karena di dalam penuh.
Gue pesan Iced Dark Choco Mocha (52K) dan Roasted Parmesan Potato (58K). Dark Choco Mocha-nya persis rasanya kayak sbux😂 but it's great tho because I love sbux's dark mocha. Dan roasted potato-nya juara sih. Asin dan gurihnya nagih sekali. Dipping sauce-nya juga endes!

Was here to have lunch, place was kinda crowded. Initially want to sit near the window but it was fully seated. It's okay tho', it's still comfortable nonetheless. Here's what I tried:
Gyutan Kimchi Don

Came in a large round bowl, portion was rather enough for woman. Not sure if it will satisfied man hunger tho'. I like the overall taste. There's a nice kick of spiciness from the kimchi, rice was in a good consistency too. The Gyutan was a bit smelly in first 2 bite, but the more I eat it the better it taste. And there's plenty of it too. Satisfying.
Smoked Duck Slice and Potato Rice Gratin

First thing first, it was like sooo creamy. There's probably only 6 or 7 slices of smoked duck. It taste salty, goes along with the sweet creamy rice potato gratin. Still prefer the Gyutan tho'.
Caramel Cheese Cake

My bf choose this for dessert. It came with a big whip cream on top of a thin layer of caramel (actually it was kinda thick), and below it there's the cheese cake and cookie crust. It was too sweet for me. But for those who such a fan of caramel. Go try this!
Service was good and fast. Would definetely comeback for their Gyutan.

Menjadi nilai plus untuk resto ini karena selain tempatnya lebih luas dari monolog Senayan, tempatnya lebih terang juga. kalau senayan cukup gelap, mungkin biar ambience cool nya dapet

karena cuma iseng coba kesini, cuma pesan caesar salad dan cappucino. rasa caesar saladnya enak, salah satu yang terenak bahkan. untuk cappucino saya ga coba. tapi saya coba juice mixed fruits gitu. walaupun agak asam yang penting sehat

Nice coffee and humble server! And I looovvveee their All Berries Yoghurt Smoothie! For the ambience and interior, I prefer Monolog PIM to Monolog PS.
