Mother Monster

Yang nulis review soal liquor baru dikit nih.. padahal banyak tempat di jkt yang punya signature liquornya yang cuantikkkkk n uenakkk kaya si Mother Monster ini

Drinks : Pleasure Garden ;cuantik bingits tampilannya pake bunga asli anggrek segar (fresh bgt yess) rasanya ga kalah fresh nya 👉 rasa lemonnya memang agak dominan, tapi in the end nya ada wangi2 raspberry nya, trus lumayan cepet naik alkoholnya ke kepala, jadi minumnya harus nyantai sambil kongkow2 syantik

Place : Ok ga terlalu ramai, jadi bisa ngobrol2 nyantai, cuma AC aka Aircon nya perlu ditambah dingin suhunya ( soalnya sempet sampai kringetan 👉 mungkin juga karna pengaruh si liquor) juga karna deket sama lobby yang udara di luar keluar masuk syantik, jadi berasa agak gerah

Services : OK bingits.. pelayannya ramah2 bahkan pas mereka mau tutup tetep nungguin sampai kita selsai (ga diusir gitu loh) 😊👍👍👍

Cafe kekinian di plaza indonesia, lokasinya di seberangnya cork and screw. Tempatnya bagus, interiornya modern dan kekinian, ada sentuhan warna soft pink yang bikin tempatnya jadi cute. Dari luar keliatan tempatnya kecil, tapi dalamnya besar juga, ada smoking areanya juga di belakang yang semi outdoor, jadi bagian outdoornya ini ber-ac, tapi tidak terlalu tertutup masi ada udara luarnya. Aku seneng sih sama tempatnya, nyaman banget untuk tempat ngumpul bareng teman-teman. 

Menunya disini lebih banyak menu minuman daripada makanannya, menu makanannya western semua. Aku dan teman pilih beberapa menu yaitu : 


- piccolo : coffee disini dari common ground, tidak heran kopinya enak, tidak terlalu strong, perfectly blend dengan susunya. 

- indomie chicken skin : chicken skinnya crunchy banget, dengan seasoning indomie, enak juga ini kulit ayam digoreng tepung tapi rasanya seperti rasa indomie, cocok banget untuk cemilan ataupun makanan pembuka. 

- hand cut fries : homemade french fries, enak juga french friesnya lebih fresh kentangnya, mungkin karena homemade ya. 

- cheesy balls : bentuknya bulat seperti kroket, isinya mozarella cheese yang digoreng tepung. Enak juga

- tall, dark and handsome : minuman campuran dari chocolate wafer, vanila ice cream, chocolate powder, rasanya enak nih, tidak terlalu chocolatey dan manisnya pas. Kalau yang suka manis pasti suka deh minuman ini.

Overall semua ok kok disini, tempat nyaman dan makanan minuman enak juga. Next time pastinya balik lagi.

Some people know this place as instagramable place for you guys to take some ootd thing but for me it's more than instagramable place.
They have a super great brunch that you should try when you're coming to plaza indonesia. I'm in love with their salmon scrambled egg. They have their own scrambled egg and it's suits my appetite.
Don't forget the texture of their mashed potato which really soft and probably one of the best mashed potato ever. Seriously give a try, they won't disappoint you

Enjoyed a quick brunch at Mother Monster last weekend. I came here with zero expectation and leave with a full stomach and lots of words to say about this restaurant. First of all, they have 3 separate rooms, one with drink and cake stations that can be seen when you are walking inside the mall. Mother Monster'second room has unique pink walls, larger tables, and huge bar/liquor station. Instagrammable indeed. Lastly, the outdoor area. The rooms had different characters that are suitable for different occasions. Anyway, the food here are AMAZING!! Here are the brunch menu that I tried :
1. Brisket and Eggs

I really enjoyed the cook and seasonings on the brisket. It was hearty and I love it. Their mashed potatoes are incredibly soft and creamy. The eggs gave a nice richness to the dish. Portion wise, it's huuge!
2. Salmon Scrambled Eggs

Hands down best Truffle Scrambled Eggs that I have ever tried in my life. Couldn't stop eating them. The eggs are moist and velvety, and the flavor of truffle were spot on. I can imagine myself coming back to this restaurant  every week just to enjoy this menu. Their salmon was cooked to perfection, and paired beautifully with microgreens. A must order!
3. Monster Double Decker

Huge burger with two beef patties, caramelized onions, cheese slice, veggies, and their special sauce. The burger was served along with crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, potato wedges. It was not their brunch menu, but this burger was one of Mother Monster's best sellers. I really like their burger as well, though I personally thought that the onions were slightly bitter. Their potatoes though, absolute perfection!!
4. Varlhona Chocolate French Toast

What's not to love about french toast, chocolate, and ice cream?? This french toast for me tasted more like a dessert than a filling brunch menu. I'm not complaining, though. This dish was perfect as it's own. Combination of bitter chocolate with sweet french toast and syrup was lovely.
5. Amer Cake

This cake had a unique ingredient, which is Indonesia's most beloved sweet wine, Anggur Merah. It was made into a jelly that was placed in between layers of super soft whipped cream and moist cake. The taste was very-amer-like. It was awesome!
