Bebini Gelati

Skrg ke outdoor nya bebini karena bawa pet. Tmpt nya lumayan enak sih cm agak kotor byk daun2 san kursi bbrp ada yg rusak. Yg pntg nyamaaan buat pet kok. Red wine nya must bgt kl ke sini selalu pesen itu. Daifuku standart yaa , gede si lumayan. Di sini tu selalu di ksh air putih kl beli gelato nya. Best bangeeet. Harga blm termasuk ppn ya.

Back to @bebinigelati , now with the 3 VIPs from Malang, who were very excited to have a staycation at Surabaya. Not saying that a city is better than another, but we all can't deny that sometimes a city seems like they have everything yet still lack a small stuff that we're looking for right? 

I tried the Chocolate Affogato, thinking that it was a normal affogato with chocolate ice cream. Upon reading the description clearer, it said (1 scoop gelato + dark chocolate shot), no mention of espresso shot whatsoever. I asked the barista to scoop me the best gelato flavour for my affogato, and boy. It did come without any espresso/coffee, pure chocolate and chocolate. 

The gelato is very chocolatey, love the flavour and texture. We already knew gelatos are lovely, and Bebini took their gelatos seriously, but I wish I discovered this flavour earlier. The dark chocolate shot, on its own, taste very chocolatey and strong, not overly sweet. Even slightly bitter, just the way I like my hot chocolates. Pour the shot onto the gelato and let them elevate each other up, it's like Yin and Yang in a cup, only no colour combo here, just the combo of texture and flavour. Imagine chocolate gelato with a soup of dark chocolate liquid, Chocolate bliss. Now this is a drink I'd happily pay IDR 40k for. Worth every single dime spent. No more words needed. You gotta try it yourself, the sensation of cold gelato and the warmth of concentrated hot chocolate, the cold and warm sensation tingling in your mouth, pure bliss. 

Bebini actually have some more interesting items such as sorbet-tea, original affogato, coffee float, basically drinks + sorbet/gelato combined into a single glass/cup to brighten your gloomy day up. If you need more options, go to their display fridge and try to have all of their gelato flavours, I'd say you won't grow sick of them.

Hari pertama di Surabaya pas lagi panas-panas nya, jadi mampir ke Bebini Gelati, dan gue baru tau kalo ini yang punya adalah Chef Indonesia yang menurut gue orang nya kocak 😂..

-White Rabbit: rasa nya sama kaya permen masa kecil ya 😂 tapi ini enak si gelato nya
-Dragonfruit Soursop: ini nyokap yang pesen jadi gue nyobain nya sedikit 😂. Tapi enak terus sayang ga ke foto 😂

Untuk tempat nya ada indoor maupun outdoor. Nah yang di outdoor tuh bener-bener luas banget tempat nya.

Kesini sebenernya pengen cobain kayak waffle2nya gitu tapi skrg gak ada tinggal gelato dan minuman aja. Untuk ice creamnya aku pesen 2 scoop di cup dengan rasa unicorn dan arnold grumpy cookie yg katanya paling sering di pesan dan aku jg first time kesini jadi ya ngikut aja lah daripada zonk. Oh ya kalo kalian bingung mau pesen apa aja pegawainya helpfull banget jelasin ingredients dan coba kasih tester satu2. Untuk unicorn enak segerr bener kayak frozen yogurt tapi gak asam banget kayak yogurt, terus yg arnold grumpy ini coklat banget, ada potongan semacam kitkat(?) tapi gak terlalu manis. Menurutku 2 scoop aja udah cukup bangeet karena emang mereka ngisi cup nya sampai bawah gitu lho, ada beberapa tempat gelato yg ngisi gelatonya di samping2 aja jadi bagian tengah kosong, ini enggak, jadi satu cup penuh, dan dengan harga segitu dan rasa yg enak worth it banget menurutku

Padahal setiap ke sby slalu kesini dan pesen fried chicken mereka yang super enak, tapi karena perut lagi ga oke jadi gampang kenyang. So, aku cuma pesen double scoop of dragon soursop (selalu pesen ini karena super seger, manis asam dan emang suka 2 buah ini) sama 1 lagi seasonal flavor yang lagi super hits - biscoff (begitu coba testernya langsung jatuh hati sama rasanya karena ga nyangka bakal seenak itu, emang bebini kalo bikin flavor gaperna gagal sih. Selalu enak dan salah1nya aku temuin lagi di biscoff flavor. Rasa cinnamonnya dominan tapi tetep milky and creamy at the same time, ada potongan crumble biscuitnya juga jadi makin enak) (10/10)

Biasanya pesen yang sorbet, tapi kali ini mau coba yang lain.

Featuring Arnold’s cookie waffles - crispy waffles, cookie crumb, mini cookies, strawberries, banana brulee, dark choc, salted caramel and two scoops of their fav gelato - bacio and rum timtam. High complexity of flavor and totally love that rum timtam ice cream. What I like about their gelato - it’s rich but not overly sweet. LOVE IT!!! (10/10) *Setiap pembelian gelato bakal dapat stampel gitu, kumpulin dan bisa dapet free gelato (sayangnya ga tinggal di surabaya huhu)

Bebini fried chicken with sweet and sour teriyaki sauce - menu yang tak pernah terlewatkan setiap kali ke surabaya. Jujur, kalo kalian pernah merasakan saus ayam goyza (resto yang cukup booming jaman aku dulu, mendadak shutdown dan paling rame di TA) - this is the exactly same sauce and I loveeee it somuch! Definitely extra point, but the chicken itself is crispy though. So, there’s no reason I didn’t fall in love with this dish! (10/10)


Baby calamari with coriander relish - not an ordinary sauce but taste extraordinary yummy. Uda skeptis duluan awalnya denger nama sausnya, dan itu calamari super crunchy combines with the coriander = DELICIOUS! (9/10).

Prawn and parsley pesto pasta - awalnya baca review orang katanya gaenak tapi kok aku suka yaaa. Simply flavorful, not overly creamy so I can finish it all by myself. Udang dan tomatnya fresh banget. And I’m a huge fan of pesto so yeah! (9/10)

Hot chocolate - simple and good! Salah satu restoran yang bener2 berhasil untuk serve while it’s hot, bukan cuma sekedar coklat hangat. Dan minuman coklatnya juga rich. (8/10)

Untuk masakan gaperlu diragukan, positifnya lagi free mineral water yeiy (jarang ada yang masi kasih air gratis). Tempatnya cozy, bersih, luas dan mayan instagrammable. Tempatnya pun tidak terpencil (mudah ditemukan).

Dan yang aku suka lagi, pelayanannya oke banget. kita bisa coba semua gelato dan sabar banget ngelayanin pembeli. Untuk harganya sendiri ya masi okelah compare to premium ingredients yang mereka pake. Overall memuaskan!

Lattenya terlalu foamy tapi selain itu oke sih.

🥜 The Nutty Cereal Killer - IDR28,000
Ini harga untuk single scoop yaa. Gelatonya soft banget disini. Rasa kacangnya juga berasa, jadi kyk makan cereal sama peanut butter gitu.

🦄 Unicorn - IDR28,000
Sesuai keterangan di IG-nya, ini terbuat dari butterfly pea flower, strawberries, cream dan taro. Menurutku, rasanya mirip frozen yogurt, tapi enakkkk.

🍪 Arnold's Grumpy Cookie & Lekker Crunch - IDR40,000
Kalo ini aku pesen double scoop, jatuhnya lebih hemat. Rasanya mirip cookies & cream but better. Yg Lekker Crunch rasanya unik, mirip kue leker beneran haha.

Verdict:
(+) Rasa premium, worth it dengan harga (mengingat ownernya Chef Arnold 😝)
(+) Tempat bersih, spacious dan IG-worthy
(+) Free plain water

Cozy, chill, cocok buat ngedate dan ngobrol panjang. Makanannya enak, not overpriced. Gelatonya ga usah ditanya, pls try that strawberry yakult, it's good.
