Gubug Makan Mang Engking

The place was spacious, comfortable and had a nice ambience. There were seating places that you can choose, either on chair or lesehan.
We were seated in the saung (traditional Sundanese house) by the fish pond. While waiting for our food to be served, we enjoyed the view and fed the fish. It was refreshing and relaxing!

Gurame Bumbu Cobek - IDR 85.5 K ++
The bumbu cobek was confusing. I didn't expect this kind of bumbu cobek when I heard its name. I thought it would be like a sambal chili sauce. The taste was also confusing. I couldn't describe it btw. 
I prefer this mangga (mango) muda sauce than the previous one. This one was refreshingly good. Anyway, the fried gourami was okay and didn't have a muddy taste. 

Kerang Bambu Saus Pedas - IDR 35.5 K ++
This dish is bambo clam with spicy sauce. The sauce was delicious and not too spicy, but the clam was a little bit too chewy.

Kepiting Soka Goreng - IDR 80.5 K ++
The fried soft shell crabs was delicious, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Overall, the taste of food was just average. There was nothing really stand out. In my opinion, the food portion was too small and the price was a little bit expensive. But the nice ambience makes it a place worth visiting. If you want a refreshing and relaxing dining experience with your family or friends, then give it a try!

Restorannya guede banget, bisa request makan digubug supaya suasananya makin mecing sama makanannya . Untuk makanannya sih porsi nya sedikit, satu porsi seafood (udang, cumi, kerang) cuma bisa untuk 2 orang, jadi saya dan teman2 sempat kurang jumlah pesanannya tapi males order lagi karena lama. Lalu seperti biasa, binatangnya bisa dipilih mau dimasak apa, seperti saus madunya enak, pas untuk udang. Tapi sayang udangnya gak segar, waktu dikupas daging udangnya lembek. Untuk cuminya, saya pesan masak telur asin, rasanya sudah pas apalagi ada tambahan jagungnya. Sisanya, makanannya enak apalagi ayam bakarnya 

Been here twice. The last time I went here is to attend my friend's birthday celebration. We had our own space, traditional, among the water underneath. Like in a paddy field. Only at night, there were mosquitoes.

The food was okay. We tried their seafood (shrimp, clam, fishes). The shrimp taste wonderful, but seemed not so fresh. The clams were so little, taste so so. The fish was nice. The portion was pretty big too, tender and seasoned well. Their veggies were delicious.

The concept of this restaurant was actually pretty good. 

resto keluarga dengan suasana pedesaan yang unik dan terdiri dari gubug-gubug yang digunakan sebagai ruang makan. paling seru memang di gubug air, karena makin terasa suasana pedesaannya. fasilitasnya juga cukup lengkap, ada arena bermain anak dan musholla yang bersih. Menu yang paling direkomendasikan: gurame cobek, karena pedesnya nampol, enak banget :D
sebaiknya datang agak sore, karena kalo siang udaranya cukup panas dan banyak nyamuk :)
