Resto bakmi yg es durennya enak bangettttttttt.. Dulu sering kesini waktu masih ngantor di daerah rawamangun, kadang untuk makan mie ayamnya yg ngangenin, atau cuma nyemil iseng pangsit bakso & es durennya doang. Es durennya enakk.. Daging durennya juga lembut & manis. Sayang tempatnya agak kecil, agak panas gak ber-ac, dan terpencil. Plang tokonya pun kecill.. Jadi make sure cari pake Gmaps aja deh atau nanya2 orang kalo mau ke sini :))

 HokBen di sini termasuk agak kecil outletnya & panas! Mungkin karena ngikutin konsep Setiabudi One yg open air. Tiap jam makan siang ke sini selalu keringetan setelah makan. Padahl kita makan ke mall buat cari yang dingin2 :))
Untuk menunya standar, gw bersyukur Paket ABCD kembali karena favorit banget sih! Harganya juga lumayan murah untuk paket yg pake daging, terutama beef yakiniku favorit gw! Yg disayangin cuma, tiap minta mayonnaise tambahan buat salad selalu dibilang "tapi kena charge tambahan ya.." hiks

"Di sini specialty-nya apa mbak?" | "Burger." -and so we ordered Fatback burger, and the famous Philly cheesesteak. One thing i remember is our manner was gone with those kind of messy-eating-style burger.
Fatback was high, even my friend's big mouth didn't fit in. Beef patty was okay, it's the chips that make em high.
Philly cheesesteak was messy with mayo/cheese dripping all over the place. And when they say steak, it's not steak anyway, more like of stir-fry beef. Actually cheese melt will be better if they put more in the philly's.
Other menu didn't make it better, aglio olio was too oily with overcooked spaghetti, & butter rice didn't look like carbonara rice at all. Waffle was cold, hard, and took 45mins after our latest order came. Popcorn chicken was too salty.
The only good thing is their cozy place & thai milk tea.

MonViet have quite vary of Viatnemese menu, which name is hard to remember but menu quite famous for Viatnemese food. There are vary of lumpia for starters, Sandwiches, Pho to satisfy our tastebud, choice of rice dishes, and of course slow-dripped Viatnemese coffee.
My choice goes to Bon Bu Hue (68k) which i chose because its story. They say the broth is cooked (or submerged?) overnight with choice of meat & spices. Interesting! And since this is my first time eat in MonViet, i should try their signature dishes like i did in my previous first-time-here-restaurant. And my choice is right, once it came, i taste the broth immediately. So good, rich of flavor, and they goes along with the beef slices. Noodles texture also nice, they say it's rice vermicelli but the texture isn't hard as we taste "bihun" in Indonesia. It's more like kwetiau in a vermicelli thickness. I ate it with a small plate of fresh veggies that both taste good by submerged in the broth, or eat it separately to have crunchy texture in your mouth. I prefer the second method. I even forgot to ask for fresh chillis to satisfy my spicy-tongue like i did in other resto  to appreciate the broth cooking process. The only thing that made me lower my rating is the broth too salty for my tongue, but this is because i accustomed to served less-salty menu in my house. Overall, it's a 4 star menu for me.
My friend ordered Com ta bo bi cha (79k): Broken rice with beef, chicken and meatloaf & Com ga sa ot (56k): lemongrass stir-fry chicken. I didn't taste all, but quite like the meatloaf & lemongrass chicken.
And i love fresh-brewed tea, so my lotus tea is great. Smells good, taste good!

Overall, it's a nice experience with Viatnemese food for me, other than no complaint about the place & the service. Service was good although it's quite a crowded Satnite. Viatnemese food suits me. Would lovely comeback to try other dishes 😋

Funny thing is, you MUST ORDER THEIR MOZARU in these Japanese resto! XD
Mozaru is baked rice with cheese & optional toppings. My fave: curry rice based, zenbu toppings, dynamite sauce- with the best part of eating is their melted mozarella cheese! :9
Other than mozaru, ramen, teppanyaki (very big, you must really hungry to eat this) pasta and curry rice is must try menu! Other than those i mentioned, is so-so with the price we pay. Ocha is free, and fruit-flavored tea is free refill.
Mozaru regular size is quite stomach-filling, so make sure you know your stomach limit before order :))

A nice fine-dining-look-alike Japanese resto with great taste! With concept of semi-private resto with cozy dining experience, Sumiya offers authentic taste & interior that are so close with those in Japan. Although located in quiet STC Senayan, Sumiya quite crowded on Sunday lunch. I suggest to rsvp first before.
We order Gyu Amiyaki course Lunch Set (178k), Soba Tekka don Set (89k), Kinoko Hoiru Yaki (58k), and matcha ice cream as dessert. Our menu came with this order:
- Drinks. Ocha (free refill) & lemon tea.

- Appetizer: salads, i forgot the name since it came with the lunch set. Salad is soo refreshing & raise our appetite. The salad came with few stir-fry beef cubes, onion slice, daikon, greens, and not-too-sour vinegar. Ready to eat next menu!

- Sashimi. 5 slice of tuna sashimi cubes. Tasty, juicy, sweet, and fresh! 5 slice is not enough for me! But I'm getting my stomach ready for..

- Main course: mine is medium-well roast slice beef with mushroom, served with rice, miso soup & pickles. The roast beef is owemji da bomb! Sooo gewd i even want to eat it the rest of my life. Beef are tender, well seasoned, and leave a deep aftertaste in my mouth. Miso soup is okay, served with wakame & tofu. What i confused is the miso soup came very hot when it arrived on our table, but rice & beef were cold. Maybe they served it like that, i don't know.

- Soba Tekka don Set. It served with 2 big bowl of sashimi donburi & dried cold soba. I didn't taste it but my friend said it soo good.

- Kinoko Hoiru Yaki. Assorted mushrooms steam in aluminum wrap. Served hot & fresh in our table, consist of kinoko, shitake, and enoki mushrooms. No seasoning needed, mushrooms already good.

- Dessert. I surprised the set came with anindofu (bean curd sweet pudding). Sauce is sweet, and there's small strawberry & dragon fruit. Sweet & refreshing.

- Matcha ice cream. They came 2 scoop per serving. And i love the deep flavor of matcha!
I'm really full with those long line of menu served. But with comfortable & satisfy stomach. Definitely will came back remember what we order is just 5% of the menu & i won't refuse to try another menu! Good choice of authentic Japanese resto!

Agak beda sama bayangan Taiyaki dari Jepang yg disajikan hangat dgn ogura filling. Taiyaki yg satu ini berupa pastry yg dibentuk ikan, dgn taburan gula & custard filling. Pilihan fillingnya ada coklat, matcha, dan Rum yg jadi favoritenya. Gw pesen yg matcha & rum, dan enakan yg rum!!

Satunya seharga 25k, exclude 10% tax.

Tempatnya sendiri rada kecil, hanya food stall & gada kursinya karena emang Taiyaki ini grab-to-go snack sih.. Dan ga usah takut masih panas, karena fillingnya justru dingin!
