A good place to eat.. just needs improvement in the hygiene department
Warung Pedes Cipete located in Cipete.. Indonesian mixed rice with various types of rice with different seasoning. You can pair the rice with any toppings you want such as chicken, kangkung, squid and any indonesian food that you can think of. The marinated crispy chicken skin is something to try.. the restaurant also provides free sambal and lalapan (raw veggies).. from sambal matah, sambal bawang and sambal terasi. It’s very 🔥🔥🔥but it’s worth the try.. the best sambal here would be the sambal bawang... HOW.. ever when i came here last time there is a worm in the “lalapan” that they served.. it’s best to check the veggies before taking it... Overall this is a great place for people who LOVES spicy food but they do not have the stomach for the streets just watch out for the worms 😉giving this a solid 7/10!!

Abura soba in senayan city.. gotta give this 7/10.. the combination of veggies, seaweed, chili and poultry really hits the spot. The poach egg and mushroom brings it together as a dish that is worth a try. A must try for people that are soba virgins. Recommended for people that likes wet noodles with no soup.. 👌👌 .
A must try late night eats.. super size portion but affordable
Chinese noodles in the middle china town in Jakarta... Bak mie ahau.. located in mangga besar (search for it in maps) just look at a cart that haas a long queue.. Their famous “Bak mie ahau komplit besar” consists of fried meatballs with roasted pork, cha siu and veggies. A large portion for only 48k.. definitely something for pork eaters in Indonesia to try out 👌😉😉 giving this a 8/10.. .
BEST taichan spot in Jakarta so far.. the meat is thicker, the satay sauce is consistent and you can have taichan with mozzarella OR taichan with telor gulung (omelette) a must try!!! Giving this spot a 9/10!!! Price is good, taste is good and the atmosphere of the place really captures the essence of street food in Jakarta.. 👌
Korean hot pot noodles located in senopati.. a real hit for those who like k-dramas or k-pop.. the dish consists of instant noodles with different toppings.. you can choose between seafood or beef.. it tastes mediocre BUT the restaurants serves a REALLY REALLY good kimchi.. overall the place does have that Korean pop-ish vibe.. so if you are there for the food.. its 6/10 but if you are a fan of Korean pop culture then its 8/10...
Victorias Fillet at Outback Steak House.. Premium meats paired with simple side dishes.. Lost for words when it comes to this amazing piece of steak.. lean and tender.. cuts like butter.. and paired with a simple blackpepper/mushroom sauce.. not too heavy that it over powers the taste and quality of the steak itself.. a must try when you are seeking PREMIUM cuts of steak in Jakarta for a good price.. giving this a 8/10 🔥
Fancy dinners and an amazing ambience to go with it
Short rib wagyu with butter rice 👌Wagyu was perfectly cooked into a medium well just as I requested and the onsen egg was cooked perfectly too!! Love the combo with the fish egg, mushrooms and brown sauce. Perfect asian and western twist! But too bad that I am not a fan of onion rings so I didn’t bother eating it. Overall a good dish even though its super pricey but hey there’s nothing wrong with treating yourself once in a while right? 😋 would definitely come back for this dish. They have great pasta too btw 😍
Southern fried chicken amd waffle at monolog PIM.. a classic modern twist of Chicken n waffles.. the gravy is very light and goes really well with the fried chicken.. the sautéed veggies neutralizes the heavy fried chicken that is paired with the scrambled eggs.. an amazing combination by Monolog.. giving this dish a 7.2/10 .

Lovester Shack at Tarogong.. a very small shack right in front of a high school Jakarta (JOS). Serves some fresh seafood platters and is well known for the Lobster paired with rice and sambal matah.. This platter is one of their signature dishes.. a very fun place to take your family or a maybe even a second date.. giving this a 8/10 .
Milano Pizza at Plaza Senayan Jakarta.. A new pizza place in the newly renovated food court at Plaza Senayan. The truffle pasta and the funghi pizza are their two signature pizzas. Very different from other pizza parlors in Jakarta as this pizza parlor serves a square pizza and it gives out a very Italiano vibe.. the coffee here is something to try as well.. good pizza and good coffee.. and you can order additional truffle oil as well.. giving this a 8.2/10 .
