Tempat brunch baru di QBIG BSD. Ambiance cozy dan cocok untuk chilling down with friends. Ada live musicnya juga di malam hari. Price is a bit high tapi porsinya besar. Oh iya infonya kedepannya mereka juga akan buka untuk breakfast dan punya pastry sendiri guys😆. Taste 7/10 📍BSD Service and Ambiance 8/10 Price $$$
Smoked Atlantic Salmon Benedict (125k) 2 roti sourdough yang ditoast dan dikasih bayam, smoked salmon, dan poached egg. Poached eggnya runny dan hollandaisenya enak. Smoked salmonnya juga ga amis.
Fish and Chips (90k) Kaget pas ini keluar karena ukurannya gede banget (even though masuk light bites). Ikannya garing dan aoilinya ga eneg. Highlightnya chips (katanya ini chipsnya HW hahaha) yang crunchy and flavourful.
Aglio Alio Con Pollo (135k) Classic pasta with chili, parsley, dan garlic. Diatasnya ada ayam sebagai protein. Ada pedas sedikit tapi very mild. Overall enak tapi a bit oily.
Carbonara (135k) Carbonara tradisional style with egg, parmesan, and blackpepper. Dapat banyak bacon juga. I like this more than the aglio alio karena creamy.
Tiramisu Espresso Drip (60k) Dessert yang instagramable. Jadi espresso panas akan dituang ke atas coklat dan drip ke tiramisunya. Rasanya creamy and light, not too sweet juga. Saran jangan langsung dituang semua espressonya karena can be too bitter.
Chicken katsu curry (55k) in small size. Despite being a small, this was enough for 2 people. Katsu itself was standard (pretty thin), wish it was thicker and juicier, however the sauce is what makes this dish special. Darker and richer than most katsu curry here, there’s almost an undertone of sourness to it with good amount of spices.

Turkish Egg (85k) ⭐️9/10 I think this is the first place to have Cilbir in Jakarta? Yummy poached egg served with garlicky yoghurt and spicy chili butter, pretty much a failsafe combo for brunch😆. I also like the addition of beef ragu and pickled onion despite not being traditional. Typically eaten alongside crusty bread, NOB opts to have it with prata instead, which imo doesn’t work quite as well since it’s a bit too oily and floppy to dip into the yoghurt.
Croissant Egg Tuna Mayo (65k) 7/10 Plenty of tuna and egg fillings. Tuna did not smell fishy and the mixture had just enough mayo without being overwhelming. Side salad was very fresh and refreshing with a tangy dressing. Croissant was very crispy though, to the point where we struggled to cut it without breaking it to pieces everywhere.
Crunchy French Toast (65k) 7.5/10 As the name suggests, this french toast is fried with cereal batter as the outer crust (I don’t think the bread was soaked in milk and egg as the classic version). Milk bread was quite fluffy and soft. Sauce had quite dominant Pandan taste though personally I couldn’t discern the kaya flavour. It’s pretty good but I personally prefer more traditional french toast with brioche and custard mixture.
Berry rose pistachio (43k) 7.5/10 Taste wise, this croissant had it all with nutty pistachio, fragrant rose, and some sourness from the berries. However, texture of the croissant itself was somewhat underwhelming. In contrast to their croissant sandwich, this one was not flaky or light enough. I think unless you are lucky enough to be served their croissant straight from the oven you’ll have this problem because they can’t reheat their filled croissant. Same thing with takeaways as my cruffin filling made the layers soggy as time went on.
Been a fan of their baked goods since PO days. Happy to see them grow and have their offline store. Also took home their sourdough (one of my fav in Indo) and it was consistent with their other branches’ quality.
Banana Nutella Croissant (34k) 9/10 Having tried multiple croissants from Noolstrala, this one beat all of them and became my favourite. Generous fillings and the crispy top layer were so delish I got another one for takeaways.
Mushroom Toastie (65k) 8/10 My friend got this menu for the third time here and I could see why. Deceptively simple in presentation, it nonetheless shone through with the eggs and mushroom highlighting how good their sourdough was.
Nutella Bomb Toast (65k) 7/10 Fluffly, buttery brioche filled with nutella and topped with two scoops of ice cream plus maple syrup🥰. Good option if you are craving something very sweet. Probably more of a special occasion/craving order though since it was very decadent.
First time trying out Honu at this branch. Happy to say that taste and quality remain consistent. Place was pretty packed during lunchtime so getting a seat might require some wait time. 📍The Breeze Taste 7/10 Service and Ambiance 7/10 Price $ 🐈Worth to try
Wayo (70k) The small size is enough for me, but you can opt for regular (90k) if you are feeling particularly hungry. Wayo is actually my fave honu cause of the wasabi mayo. Wasabi had nice kick while being balanced by the mayo. Salmon was fresh as usual and coconut flakes added a nice crunchy element.
Opening Ceremony (30k) Matcha made using ceremonial grade powder. I could see that the quality is above their usual matcha but it’s not as good as ones from dedicated matcha stores such as Matchabae.
Mie Goreng (7/10) Compared to the hyped up mie kari, I prefer Platon’s mie goreng (same management). Tastes like mie Jawa abang-abang, with good amount of sweet soy sauce, chillies, wok hei, and bold seasoning, just maybe an additional fried egg would be nice.
Kastangel Cake (52.5k/slice) 7/10 Also tried a slice of cake (a pretty famous one during its time). Kastengel cake was, as the name suggest, pretty cheesy and savoury. The crumble added a nice crunchiness and gave it that signature kue kering taste, however I find that the cake itself was a bit too dry vs buttery and moist (maybe it was an old batch?).
Diletto (38k) Essentially a stronger latte (double ristretto with milk). My go to when in Platon and wanted a white coffee. Quite strong caffeine kick, not acidic and not milky either. If you want the iced version, go with the corta option.

French Toasties (57k) 7/10 Brioche, sautéed apple, cream cheese, maple syrup. Quite an unusual take on french toast here. The apple and cinnamon gave this a fall vibe. Brioche was fluffy and went well with the richness of cream cheese.
Tabbouleh (85k) 7.5/10 Merguez sausage, puy lentils, cauliflower pickles, fried egg, chilli oil, coriander yogurt with focaccia. The dressing really elevated thus dish from being basic with the right balance of tangy and spiciness. Love the addition of cauliflower pickles as well.
Skillet Eggs (85k) 6/10 Sausage, hashed potato, tomato confit provencal with popovers. Taste bland overall, including the sausage. It’s almost like they forgot to put any seasoning. Best part was the popover (imagine if they gave us gravy to go with this😚)
Hidden Italian resto in BSD. Has free flow welcome bread, live music, and spacious space. 📍BSD Taste 6/10 Service and Ambiance 8/10 Price $$ 🐈⬛Worth to try
Italian Salad (65k) 6/10 Just a basic salad to get your greens. Nice side for all the pastas and pizzas with zesty dressing.
Chorizo con Pancetta (75k) 6.5/10 Sausage wrapped in crispy bacon. Quite salty and dry but nice appetiser nonetheless. Careful to pull out the toothpick before eating.
Ravioli ai Funghi e Perfumo di Tartufo (95k) 7.5/10 Creamy mushroom ravioli pasta with truffle oil. Best menu of the night, creamy with nice fragrant truffle scent. Slightly too salty.
Tortellini Pollo e Funghi (75k) 5.5/10 Tortellini with chicken and mushroom filling. Taste like dumplings according to my friend. I think this would have benefitted from some sort of sauce/soup as the pasta tasted quite dry.
Pizza Their pizza is the thin crust type. To be honest the only type of pizza crust I like are chewy ones with air bubbles forming, so this was not my favourite.
Quattro Formaggi (90k) 5.5/10 Not a fan of using tomato based for quattro formaggi. Also, not cheesy enough for us (I couldn’t taste the blue cheese).
Pancetta e Gorgonzola (110k) 7.5/10 Much prefer this compared to the other pizza. The pancetta and gorgonzola add nice salty components to the dish.
Tiramisu (60k) 7/10 Pretty nice tiramisu with strong coffee taste. Not too sweet either.
Newest Italian joint at flavour bliss. Taste wise already adjusted to local palate imo. Their pizza>pasta for me. Dough was quite chewy and had nice crust at the edges. 📍Alam Sutera Service and Ambiance 7/10 Price $ 🐈Try if curious
Quattro Formaggio (115k) 7/10 Quite strong truffle scent compared to the other dishes. There’s a hint of blue cheese, discernible but still mild enough for non blue cheese people. The honey was a nice touch as it adds truffle scent to the pizza.
Parmigiana di Pollo (115k) 6/10 Too much going on with tomato sauce and cream alongside the cheese. Again, there’s no truffle despite the description. The chicken parm was decent though (and added much needed protein to a carb heavy lunch 😂)
Tutta Carne (125k) 6/10 Standard tomato based pizza with salama, bacon, and sausage. Would personally go for the quattro formaggio over this.
Casarecca allo Tartufata (95k) 4/10 The one recommended by the server but was quiet underwhelming. No truffle scent at all. Pasta was undercooked and quite dry. Also using shimeji and shitake created a smell that made me think of Asian dish instead of Italian food somehow?
Limonata Picante (45k) 7/10 Spicy lemonade. Zesty and refreshing. Ask for separate honey as it was already sweet enough without it.

Chicken & Bacon Waffle (75k) 4/10 Chicken waffle is typically one of my go to menu in cafe. Unfortunately, the waffle got overshadowed by the bacon being burnt (they look black even in the picture), tasting bitter and being really though to chew. The fried chicken suffers from the same problem, being too crunchy to the point of being really hard to chew. Batter was also very thick compared to the actual chicken fillet.
Classic Waffle (40k) 7.5/10 If you want to order waffle in Hygge, I would recommend to get this instead. Waffle itself was pretty good, soft and fluffy while having nice crispy outer. Maple and butter were classic combo with the waffle so no complain there.
