The Cup (Rice and Noodle)

Mampir ke sini karena emang lagi pengen ngedessert. Kalo sebelumnya aku uda pernah nyoba greentea bingsu & cheese bingsu, kali ini aku nyobain choco bingsu & popcorn bingsu.
Bingsu di sini lumayan besar ya porsinya, jadi bisa untuk makan berdua. Untuk yang choco bingsu, topingnya ada brownies coklat, corn flakes, mochi, pocky coklat, kacang almond & tentu saja eskrim coklat beserta bubuk coklat. Karena aku suka coklat, aku suka sama bingsu coklat ini & ga enek.
Terus aku juga nyobain bingsu popcorn, kalo yang ini pake popcorn caramel & eskrim. Popcornnya enak tapi menurutku kemanisan & agak bosan makannya karena jenis toppingnya ga sebanyak yang coklat.

Saya sudah sering makan di the cup ini, maklum di groupon sering ada promonya. Mulai dr hang out sampai ultah pun saya makan makan disini.

Minggu ini saya ke the cup bersama mommy karena voucher grouponnya sudah hampir expired. Saya memesan mexican cheese rice, cheese tteokbokki, dak gangjeong (sweet), yache twigim, honey garlic potato.

Mexican cheese rice adalah menu favorit saya di the cup walau sebenarnya itu bukan menu korea (namanya aja ada mexican), nasi di campur daging cincang lalu di tutupi dengan keju....dimakan panas panas, rasanya hmmmmm.

Untuk cheese tteokbokkinya enak jg, ada fish cake nya jg di tambah telur. Tteokbokki yg biasa di ksh baby octopus namun yg cheese tidak ada. Dak gangjeong ini menurut saya sangat enak sebagai side dish karena rasanya yg manis dan gurih gurih.

Yache twigim ini mirip bala bala dan isinya sayur sayuran uii, Not my favorite. Honey garlic potatonya juga enak, kentang di ksh mayonesee manis di tambah taburan ijo2 gt sy krg tau apa tapi enak.

Karena sudah terlalu banyak mesan, saya tidak jd pesen bingtsunya. Bingtsu di the cup adalah menu desset wajib. Ada org yg dtg ke resto ini hanya untuk makan bingtsunya saja. Bingtsu yg pernah saya coba adalah green tea bingtsu (lumayan), popcorn bingtsu (manis banget), coffee bingtsu (ga enak bgt), cheese bingtsu (ada potongan cheese cake dan wafer, bingtsu plg enak menurut saya)

Kekurangan tempat ini adalah agak bau, saya tidak tau bau apa namun sometimes ada bau krg enak walau tidak begitu kentara.

Abis makan di daerah PIK, terus pengen nge-dessert, jadinya rame2 kita ke The Cup ini. The Cup ini tempatnya agak sempit dan kecil, tapi cukup nyaman koq. Karena restaurant Korea, maka lagu2 yang diputer juga K-Pop semua.

Karena emang tujuannya cuma mau nge-dessert, di sini jadinya cuma pesan Bingsoo nya aja. Kita pesen:

- Green Tea Bingsoo = Aku suka banget sama greentea, jadi menurutku ini enak banget. Isinya ada es serut gitu, pake bubuk greentea, almond, redbean, wafer, mochi, dan eskrim greentea. Bubuk greenteanya super duper banyak menutupi seluruh es serutnya, enak banget, bener2 greentea banget jadinya. Eskrim greenteanya & redbeannya juga enak, ga bikin enek.

- Cheese Bingsoo = ini juga enak,  es serut pake cheesecake yg dibekukan dan dipotong2, kismis, wafer, vanilla ice cream dan saus blueberry. Bingsoo yang ini lengkap rasanya, ada asin, manis & asem, seger banget.

Overall, suka sama bingsoo di sini, meskipun harganya agak mahal, tapi porsinya besar, jadi bisa bwt sharing. Es serutnya juga lembut ky snowiced gitu, kapan2 balik lagi deh bwt greentea bingsoonya. 

Pas kesini kebetulan udah kenyang setelah makan di tempat lain, akhirnya nyobain bingsunya yang juga terkenal.

Oh iya, the cup ini letaknya di deretan nam nam, ikkudo, dan kawan kawannya.
Buat segi tempat ini tempatnya berisik dan kecil, jadi susah kalo kamu pilih tempat ini buat ngobrol maupun kencan, mending cari tempat lain, tapi kalo asal sekedar hangout ini oke kok dimana cahayanya juga terang dan ada tvnya yang isinya mv korea semua.

Rasa bingsu yang saya pesan berikut ulasannya:

1. Injeolmi Bingsu
Intinya ini bingsu dengan beragam kacang dan mochi, saya sendiri tambahin chocolate ice cream biar makin enak. Enaknya bingsu di sini adalah es serutnya yang smooth dan ada rasa manisnya jadi ga sekedar es serut yang gitu gitu aja.
Buat rasanya biasa aja, karena rasa kacangnya dan mochinya biasa banget dimana bubuk kacangnya agak kasar dan bau kacang tanahnya berasa banget sementara kacang merahnya juga kasar dan berasa baunya.

2. Cheese Bingsu
Ini yang enak! rasanya unik karena dia pake wafer keju, sama keju sementara topnya itu adalah es krim vanilla disirem saus blueberry jadi rasanya rame dari asin, asem, manis, ada semua! Saya suka sama kejunya karena kejunya lembut dan cocok banget dicampur sama esnya, yum!

Been here just today. This place was rec by a friend of mine who is a kpop lover. As i stepped in the restaurant i noticed that this casual korean resto has several branches in many countries.

The interior is quite simple, and the food that they offers are also only a simple korean dishes that serves in a cup or in a bowl cup for dine in. They also have 2 choice of cup size, Reg and Large.

I was so hungry so i decided to order honey chicken ricebowl (reg size) for myself, while others decided to ordered several foods for share. The other foods that we ordered is their spicy chicken, cheese toppoki and bingsu for dessert ( i cant recall the correct name because korean language is hard to remember). The chicken came in big portion, the cheese toppoki is kinda exxy for snack (75k) but it was worth, the cheese is melted like wow...tho my said it was too salty but for me it was so good.

For the bingsu, we decided to add extra scoop of green tea ice cream other than the vanilla that they provide. The bingsu taste nice, the shaved ice also has a hint of milky vanila flavor.

Overall, this place might be the best casual and simple korean food i have tried so far. If you are a fan of korean food, do try this place.
Ps: the kimchi at the bancan also taste good

The Cup Food, it is located around Pantai Indah Kapuk area where we know a food hunting territory. This restaurant has cute bright concept at the interior as common PIK restaurant mostly have fancy, bright theme. In here, The Cup sure only served various of Korean cuisines only.

Before starting our main course, we are welcomed by small plate of macaroni also fresh kimchi.

Both sure made me has more sense to have food. Macaroni has sweet taste and lovely, as expected kimchi is spicy enough. Then as first try, i am sure want to try best hits dish that they have. I order Spicy Seafood Jjampong. It is fresh noodles served in hot and spicy assorted cream topped with mussels and complete with the vegetables. Dish sure looks really red and it has strong spicy flavor and sour as basic of Korean food.

Noodles has nice texture, mussel also taste great and it is fresh. But i assure you, it is really spicy, just be aware.

Another dish i have is Sundubu Jigae, which is clams, oyster mushroom, soft silky Korean tofu with assorted seafood spicy stew. It served along with the white rice.

I really love this one, the dish has thickness of stew blended well along with the seafood and other ingredients. It is really tasty, and perfect with the rice. I am sure recommended for this one.

Don't forget to try the Soju, typical of Korean drink. It is contain of alcohol but in here they served it with various of flavor. This time i try for the Yoghurt Soju. It has sour flavor with little of sensation. It served in tiny little glass. It is good after dinner.
