Nanakoot

This bakso place is quite new (less than a year) and I've been passed it quite often but only this time got the chance to try it. It is located next to Lotteria and parking is kinda a problem specially during lunch or dinner time.

Anyway, we order 3 bowls of bakso which is mix bakso, tendon bakso and bakso with mix offal. Broth was very tasty and bakso also super yummy specially the tendon one. I like the fried garlic condiment.

My only concern is they used too much MSG and made me very thirsty and a bit dizzy afterward...well it's very typical chinese food but hey please lessen the MSG because we are trying to live a healthy life here. I will come back but not in the near time...need to neutralized the MSG first 😅

The outlet here located in lower ground near hypermart. One of my favourite snacks...I know it is not healthy cause it is fried food but sometimes I can not control my weakness of fried food 😂.

Love their XXXL crispy chicken and usually I did not put additional flavour cause I think it's quite tasty by itself and also I can share it with my daughter

This place always full with people and today too. We wanted to order the hainam rice full set but they ran out of it so we changed it to normal rice. The full set supposed to include roast pork, chasiu, satay, ngohiang and pig ears but since they been so busy since morning so some of the items such as pig ears and ngohiang were sold out.

Everything was good except my satay was kinda spoilt and smell bad...good thing they changed it to a new one and this time the fresh one.
Next time I should come earlier to get the complete set.

As a pork lovers the name is very catchy. Pig hunter menu is mostly serve different kind of pork dishes and of course non pork ones for those who prefer to eat non pork.

1. Pork burger with bacon and cheese 4.5/5: very recommended, the pork patty was nicely deep fried and they also put crispy bacon, cheese, some lettuce, tomato. But what i like the most was the burger bun. It was soft kinda fluffy but perfect match with the fillings. Pssst...the bun was black.
2. Pork knuckle rice 3/5: least favourite. Pork knuckle was not crispy because the pour sweet sauce on top so when you eat it became soggy and hard. Need major improvement here. Loves the pork satay though
3. Pork belly with sambal matah 3.5/5: standart, the pork was crispy but a bit too dry for me and sambal matah a bit bland too.

Service: 3/5
The supervisor/manager came to the rescue if not I will put low rating for this section. Order the pork knuckle rice + pork satay and beforehand I already ask whether it is spicy or not because it was for my little girl and waiter told me that sauce can be seperated but when it came the spicy sauce was all over the pork and veg was cooked with chilli also pork satay was not there. Lucky the supervisor change it. Other than that everything was good.

I will say it very very affordable. I only spent 182k for those dishes. Mostly the foods are 50k and below.

I will comeback for the burger and other dishes.

My daughter craved for crab so I tried to find a place which sell fresh mud crab around the area and found this place.

When I reached there place just opened even the staffs still having their early dinner. I ordered only salted egg mud crab cause only my daughter eat it. Since nobody there yet so they cooked it very fast.

Tried at home...the crab definitely very fresh and sauce tasted nice however they need to put more sauce cause kinda dry maybe next time I should order the butter or oyster sauce. Price quite affordable 36k/ounce so I paid around 200k for the whole crab.

I didn't feel like eating too much today so I ordered beef sukiyaki from kids menu and a veg tempura. When the food came...it was so tiny and beef was less than in the picture. This kids menu definitely for kids under 5 even it will not be enough for my 6yo daughter.
