For some reason, my Daddy loves this place. He kept on insisting that Madame Lily had some really good Indonesian dishes in their menu. I personally have only been here twice, and I've only tasted their western dishes. Madame Lily has quite a wide variety of both Indonesian and Western dishes in their menu, which is a good thing, really. But, if it were me, I wouldn't choose to eat Indonesian food in a restaurant in the mall, because it will most definitely tend to be overpriced (tax and what not). So, I went and ordered their Mac and Cheese. This is the very first time for me to taste Mac and Cheese, and frankly speaking it tastes like cream pasta with some extra can cheese, not that it's a bad thing, because I really don't know what Mac and Cheese is supposed to taste like. I also ordered their pan croissant (?) with the cheese and chocolate for dessert, and it just dissapointed me. Their "croissant" just tasted like a bread roll to me, and if the main point of the whole dish (which is the croissant) is a whole lie, then that won't be good, won't it? Apart from that, I also tasted a little bit of their rendang, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with it. That was the most softest rendang I've ever tasted, and that's good. Although, it did tasted rather bland to me, but the texture made up for it. As for the ambience and service, I think it was alright. I like how they furnished the place, it looked all posh and cute, and the fact that I didn't feel disturbed by any noise at all even though we're not eating inside a "store" is a plus point. The servers were all nice, they had smiles on their faces, and I was served well, and my food came out in about 15 minutes, so that's alright. It is of course, relatively longer than other restaurants, but I don't mind. As for the price, it is of course quite overpriced for me (I'm a student with restricted pocket money), so let's just say, come here only when your parents are with you, or if your rich friend is willing to pay for you (this is just what I think, don't let me stop you).
