1. You can buy medium, large or pizza by the slice.
2. I have visited the Sliced Pizzeria in Pondok Indah in 2019 and I did not like pizza dough back then. Turns out they made the pizza dough thinner so itβs very enjoyable now, thank you for making this change! Will come back definitely.
3. They experiment with the topping, so you have the classics but also different toppings you rarely find elsewhere (that is within similar price range). These are our favourite:
-Special Truffle: Affordably priced for a one slicer, you do not need to spend too much on a pizza. Truffle is not too strong, more on the subtle taste but considering the price it is reasonably priced.
-Quattro Formaggi: Superrr generous in four types of cheese. I like that it is soft and leaves you wanting for more. When I have a bad day, and I want to confide in a friend. This is that kind of friend, but pizza.
-Carnivor: Similar taste to cheeseburger on pizza, but way better. You have a bit of that beef bacon which really is the highlight of the pizza. The taste is bold on this one, we really did enjoy it.
-Funghi Silsiccia: Mushroom and cheese combo match made in heaven. This has a bit of sweeter taste, you can really taste the mushroom. An absolute must-order when you are a mushroom addict!
What could be improved π
1. More branches, please!
2. I think if the toppings were more generous for Margherita and Pepperoni it would be better. Special Truffle topping could be more generous, however, we do understand the need to balance deliciousness vs cost control. The rest of the toppings were great in terms of proportion though.
3. Would be great if they sold soda water as well. We love our pizza with soda, sans the calories.

1. They cook the duck quite well. If duck is cooked poorly, it can taste a a bit weird. Not here.
2. That Nasi Bebek spices hits you in all the right places. This is great for those who prefer a savoury and spicy flavour.
3. Affordably priced.
4. Portion is just right. Not too big but not too small.
5. Fast service.
6. Walking distance from MRT Blok M.
What could be improved π
This is just a matter of preference. I prefer Nasi Bebek with a hint of sweetness, to balance the savoury and spicy. This is great if you like your duck savoury and spicy, but I think it lacks an element of sweetness. This place has been open for 4 years though. So they have a loyal following. Even though I do prefer a slight hint of sweetness, with that being said, this Nasi Bebek is still good! If I happen to be in the Bulungan/Jaksel area and I am looking for a good nasi bebek place, this is it.

1. Kembang Bawang is the place for you to seek Indonesian comfort food with complex and satisfying taste, every bite will transcend you to Indonesian culinary heaven.
2. For anyone who is a fan of petai and kecombrang, the restaurant does the two fragrant ingredients justice. Nasi Goreng Cakalang Asap with Kecombrang and Pete made its way to Nadya's heart - every bite is the right combo of perfect rice, fresh ingredients and the right seasoning. As we downed the food, it's like they're doing the perfect choreographed dance inside our mouth - just an indulging experience.
3. Nisa's favourite dish is the Oseng Cumi Asin. Squid is essentially difficult to cook; they will be very chewy and hard to eat if overcooked. But Kembang Bawang, with years of experience cook the right Indonesian dish, knows its way to make stir fry. This is better eaten with white rice, because if paired with fried rice it would be too salty. The heavy kecombrang use reminds me of a Bali dish. LOVE.
4. Oseng Ayam Asap Sambal Matah goes through a long process of 1 hour marination, seared to keep the goody-goody chicken juice and smoked for three hours - talk about labor of love! Texture of the chicken is juicy.
5. The restaurant brands itself to be a humble one, offering humble Indonesian food. We discovered that behind the humility there is also mindfulness of the restaurant - they prioritize restaurant standardization really carefully - they ensure pests, the kitchen to be clean and for the staff to be strictly aware of the right standard of restaurant hygiene. We would like to thank mindful restaurants like this to ensure customers' comfort first about what goes in their mouth and their clean surrounding.
6. Kembang Bawang's quality control and standard of the restaurant turns out comes from the owner himself, Chef Mario, who had years of experience working in fine-dining restaurants and worked abroad. He hopes to bring the standard and quality even to street food that Indonesians consume. He exhaustively researched the right rice to use for the Nasi Goreng, ensures the right sources of ingredients, everything is basically made in the kitchen - from the smoked chicken, even the cincau is made in the kitchen! So, you're in for a treat if you're in Kembang Bawang: indulge amazing, complex taste in simple dishes, with fine-dining kitchen standards and fresh ingredients.
What could be improved π
1. Would be great if they could separate the sugar of Es Selasih Cincau and let the customer pour their preferred level of sweetness on their own. It was too sweet for us when the drink came, but after relishing all the savoury food, it made much more sense drinking it afterwards to balance the savoury. We recommend you request for sugar to be separated.
2. The sambal matah is a bit on the oily side for me. Eventhough that beautiful flavour is in the oil! But if you do not prefer an oily dish, simply request to the kitchen and ask if would be possible.

1. Do you want to know what the sambal at Leko and your favourite person's smile has in common? It's addictive! Yasss. Corny, but it's true. The sambal here is not crazy spicy that it's numbing your mouth. It's a beautiful balance of flavour that allows to enhance anything it is paired with instead of trying to outshine everybody. I add a bit of soy sauce because I prefer it with a bit of sweetness. This branch is more generous in sambal which is good.
2. The ribssss is awesome. The iga penyet is love. It's fall off the bone fantastic. The kind of iga penyet you will crave for even if you just had these a week ago.
3. Place is spacious.
4. Service is fast.
What could be improved π
Quality of meat could be consistent. My plate had lots of fat (I prefer my meat lean). But my friends ribs were leaner.

4. Price is relatively reasonably priced considering the portion.
What could be improved π
While the noodle texture and and portion of meat is generous, I do wish the sauce was tastier. Lacks a bit of sweetness and salty element. However, since this meal is best enjoyed hot, the sauce taste that is not too strong is not too noticeable. Maybe they did indeed designed it that way.

Why you will love it β€
1. The place is great for a conversation and hanging out. From enjoyable outdoor seating to plenty of sofa in the restaurant. If you want to impress a client or go out with that special someone and you are looking for a restaurant in Bintaro area, this is it.
2. The Sambal Roa that comes with the Bubur Manado is love!!! Not sure if you could get this separately. It has a strong Roa flavour and manages to get that balance between sweet, spicy and savoury just right. The food I ate was a bit disappointing, but the Sambal Roa manages to make me smile.
2. Lots of interesting drinks.
3. Various choices for Indonesian food.
4. Plenty of parking spot.
5. Nice that they provide non-plastic straw as an effor to go greener, but paper straw is also single-use and disposable. No straw would be a better option.
What could be improved π
1. The taste of the food compared to the price was not up to par, I tried several dishes:
-Nasi Goreng Rawon: True to its name, it tastes like rawon. But you would find a bit of difficulty finding the meat in this dish as they were on the stingy side. Small portion but at least they provide plenty of krupuk. The great part about the dish is that it has quite a nice rawon taste but not too strong, really has potential flavourwise but they need to add more meat here!
-Bubur Manado is generous in portion compared to the size, but the taste again is not too strong. It has a potential to be improved, and this type of Bubur Manado is more on the dry side (I am used to the kind of Bubur Manado with flavours that is more bold and generous in broth).
-Oseng Oseng Iga needs major improvement. Major. You know how when you have a crush on someone just judging by the face but then you talk to them and find out you have nothing in common and it was just blah. That, but food. I requested for spicy flavour and even added crushed chilli, the taste was too overwhelmingly sweet. It feels like they add lots and lots of sugar here. They say itβs special sauce, but it looks more like tong seng. It should be named βTong Sengβ instead of βOseng Oseng Igaβ to manage peopleβs expectation. I like Tong Seng, but I do not this kind of cooking. There should be a warning level that this dish is extremely sweet, even for people who love their savoury food sweet like me.
2. Serving time is a bit slow, they serve the plate one by one in a table and not at more or less the same time.
3. This is more on the expensive side, but for me is not worth the money in terms of taste. But in terms of good place to sit and just have a simple dish that cannot go wrong, sure, why not?

Why you will love it β€
1. The cakalang tastes so comforting. Like if I had a bad day, and I had to confide to someone, I would confide to this cakalang (if it were a person). The kind of comfort-food that can never disappoint you, like a best friend but better.
2. Panada is like that food I never knew I wanted but turns out I need. The bread is so soft, freshly cooked, sweet combined with the cakalang with a hint of mint. As if the taste were not perfect enough you get a bit of sweet sauce which highlights all the flavour even more. I typically order 2-4 if I am hungry, for one person of course, Panada this good is not for sharing. Sorry not sorry!
3. The Paket Cakalang Suwir comes with two sambal, red sambal and a refreshing dabu-dabu like sambal. For a Libra, this is perfect. Both are great and add a different kind of element and excitement. The dabu-dabu like sambal is refreshing and the red sambal adds a bit of kick. The cakalang tastes perfect as it is, so I usually eat this with the vegetables so as not to ruin the taste of cakalang.
4. The bakwan jagung is love! Crispy with just a hint of sweetness. The sweetness is not overpowering which goes well with the overall flavour profile.
5. The sayur pepaya is good, Iβve had better but itβs still decent because it is not bitter. Also, portion is generous.
What could be improved π
1. This is on the pricier side, but I ordered it using online app so I can make use of the discounts he he he. But even if the discounts suddenly decide to disappear one day, I will keep ordering as long as they maintain the fantastic quality. Also, it is actually a good deal portion and pricewise. Naisa is so nice!
2. I wish the Panada has a more consistent taste. At times the bread is sweeter (I like sweeter bread so itβs good!) and sometimes I can genuinely taste the mint but sometimes nope (I like the mint flavour that is somewhere in between subtle and strong). A bad Panada is still a great Panada, but consistency of taste is always appreciated!

1. Ambience is great during twilight to night time, because the sun rays enter the restaurant. The place becomes really nice and bright.
2. Modern kind of Thai cuisine, as reflected in the interior of restaurant.
3. Shrimp in Pad Thai is actually quite large and generous considering the price.
4. Thai food that is more on affordable side.
5. I like how they serve drinks without straw.
What could be improved π
1. Thai tea usually has a slight element of bitterness. When I visited, it was just sweet. Quite a shame, because the drink has potential. Perhaps reduce the sugar/condensed milk usage would be better.
2. Kwetiaw Pad Thai Shrimp lacks spiciness and sour element. A great pad thai is a balance of all flavours. Even with the lime squezed, it lacks sourness. Plus, they do not serve this with chilli powder which is weird because pad thai with chilli powder is a must. To top it all off, they seem to run out of it when I visited here.

1. Char Siu Sheng Jian Bao tastes divine! The outer layer just has a very slight crisp and the insides are savoury and sweet, with the sweetness more dominating. This is great for people who love their savoury dishes a bit sweet. But if you do not like your chicken too sweet, another menu would be recommended. I personally love it.
2. Staff is friendly and attentive.
3. Ambience is lovely, a modern take on Chinese interior. The colours are bold and aesthetic. All Fook Yew branches are beautifully designed.
What could be improved π
1. Food is on the pricier side, but I think compared to the taste it is worth it.
2. Har Gao does not have a rich shrimp taste like usual, maybe this is a one time thing because most of the time I go to Fook Yew the Har Gao never disappoints.

1. The best dish of the night was Crispy Potato Pave. At a glance, even though the dish has a beautiful presentation, it looks simple. But once you taste it, it's an epitome of a dish that highlights the magnificent taste of each ingredient. Eat it whole in one bite to obtain the perfect experience! The potato stacks adds an interesting element of crunch, spicy beef tartare is just a bit spicy to add that slight kick and black caviar on top. This is the dish that love songs are inspired by. It's exquisite, intriguing and and definitely an experience you will never forget.
2. Carpaccio Al Tarturo looks lovely, but it tastes even better than it looks. With beef tenderloin, black truffle and garlic roasted aoli the dish manages to feature the balance of taste of all ingredients. It has even a slightly cheesy taste, but nope it's actually the garlic! The truffle is also quite generously given on this dish. Italy on a plate.
3. Funghi E Pepperoni. What makes it special is the dough has rested for two days, this allows the yeast to work on itself and wonβt trouble our stomach. The dough is served with beef pepperoni, mushroom meddley and mozzarella. Since the chef is always going around the restaurant to talk with the guests, now we know the right way to eat pizza! Eat with your hands, fold it, eat the topping and a bit of the crust so you get a nice balance.
4. Seafood Linguine Piccanti is made of chili linguine, clams, mussels, prawns with spicy pink sauce. They keep it simple here so itβs all about making sure the ingredients are the star and skillful cooking technique that shows off the taste of great ingredients.
5. Cotoletta Ala Torinese is a bit on the saltier side, but turns out that is because they add a sprinkle of sea salt on top. Itβs chicken cutlet using turkey ham and provolone cheese. The pasta uses angel hair, but for all the menu here you could request if you would prefer another kind of pasta instead. The angel hair pasta is rich in truffle flavour, but I think it would be interesting to see this dish with another kind of pasta. One of the favourites in this restaurant.
6. For drinks, the Mediterraneo was delicious. That combo between kiwi, passion fruit, cranberries and sparkling water is refreshing. It's quite sour, so if you prefer your drinks sweet, do order something else. But if you like it sour and refreshing this is it!
7. For desserts, I had Tiramisu Classico and Affogatto Alla Nutella. Tiramisu is great if you do not like dishes that are too overwhelmingly sweet. Affogatto Alla Nutella is better if you enjoy sweet fudge brownies, paired with hazelnut semifreddo and espresso crema inglese. If you like both, order both. Life is too short to not enjoy two desserts in a meal, no?
8. Service is friendly, attentive and the staff can explain the menu well. Always appreciate restaurants that train their team well. The warm staff really ensures you to be spoiled and enjoy a fine-dining experience, including the chef who often comes around the tables asking how you find the dishes.
9. Lovely ambience, itβs classy and elegant, a reflection of the food and service they have here.
10. For thursday, friday and saturday they have live music. The restaurant is closed on sunday, so plan your visit accordingly.
What could be improved π
1. The greeter in front should always be present. When I entered, seems like he/she was busy. Since the restaurant is on the higher-end, the greeter to direct guests to the seat would be fantastic.
2. Seafood Linguine Piccanti tastes beautiful. With that being said, the pasta was a bit on the oily side. Turns out, this is the oil from the seafood (which is great because all that flavours, yum!), but you can request to reduce the oiliness here, so donβt worry about that. We like the flavour, but if it were less oily, would have been even better.
3. For us, Cotoletta Ala Torinese was already good even without the little sprinkle of salt on top. Do request for sea salt on the side (if you would like to add a bit of salt on top), so you can control the saltiness level yourself.
4. The price is a bit higher here, but this is a fine-dining experience, and if you take into account the ambience, service and of course the fantastic food, every Rupiah you spend here is worth it. Itβs not just eating, but an experience you will always remember.
