Moon Chicken is one of the products of Hangry. Having the tagline 'flavors of the galaxy', Moon Chicken really does have an abundance of flavors to try from (though I'm doubtful if Moon chicken really has every flavors from the galaxies known to human kind).

We had their Honey Garlaxy and Big Bang flavored wings a few days ago. I have to say that their creative team managed to churned out interesting names for the flavors, so 5 stars for their wittiness.

Moon Chicken came in a unique packaging. When you open the box, you'll see the wings are divided according to the flavors and were marked with a 'mini flag' (as if they were conquered and marked).

The wings were smothered in thick sticky sauce. Trust me, you'll get your hands dirty if you eat the wings properly. Honey Garlaxy flavor was my favorite, the honey mustard sauce (I assume) was a great combination for the wings.

Moon chicken turned out has managed to make our light dinner an interesting one.

Hey #Tastebuddies! Bon(d) just had a late lunch/early dinner at Isshin in Central Park.

This restaurant has cozy private booths and you also had the option to sit at the bar and enjoy the cooking process.

We had their Salmon and Beef Sukiyaki Don. Each came in a complete set with chawan mushi and miso soup. We also had their kimchi and horenzo on the side.


The Chawan Mushi was my favorite. It was tasty with fish roe and naruto. The Salmon Sukiyaki Don was also a treat! It came with an onsen egg and generous amount salmon.

You can also request the doneness for the Beef Sukiyaki Don. The medium doneness was our favorite! It also came with a generous portion of beef.

All in all, if you happen to wander around in Central Park Mall, Isshin is one of the place to get a decent meal.

Hey #Tastebuddies! We stumbled upon this coffee shop because of @pergikuliner 's coupun.

Little did we know, @sinoukaffe turns out to be a cute spacious coffee shop offering various delicious food.

Bon(d) went here a couple of days ago after work for a quick dinner. The menu was interesting, we ended ordering Bakwan, Tempe Mendoan, Nasi Goreng Sirlion and a rice bowl.

The food came in an asthetic pastel plates. Even the small bowls for the sauce were aesthetic.

The Bakwan and Tempe Mendoans were great. It tasted fresh and healthier than your regular "gorengan abang-abang", it even contain chopped scallions giving them a twist.

However, my favorite will be their Nasi Goreng Sirloin. The rice was flavourful, the chunks of beef were tender and tasty.

Sinou Kaffe definitely deserves a second visit from us!

Bubur Kwang Tung offers various Chinese food especially congee. To note that their congee came in a big portion. Each portion could probably feed up to 4 people.

Kwang Tung is a typical Chinese restaurant where they have a circular table with spinning platform on the center of the table for ease of access to the food by everyone.

We had their beef congee and seafood congee. The seafood congee contain cutlets of octopus, shrimp and other seafood goodness. Their beef congee also contains a generous amount of beed cutlets.

I recommend for you to get other food for congee, get their cakwe, get their stir fry vegetables, get everything!

Life is strange sometimes #Tastebuddies, We took a wrong turn one day but rather than turning back, we decided to go on and find this cozy coffee shop in Tebet.

@darlinghabitsignature is located in the suburbs of Tebet. It has a cute interior, the kind that makes you feel like you're in your own room. It also has wooden floors that creaks when someone walks on them. It must be the same floors that Poe described in of his stories. Darling Habit also has a cozy outdoor section.

We had their Black Mamba and Mini Croissants. Black Mamba was a strong coffee with crushed oreos inside of it. The sweet and savory croissants definitely made our afternoon a better one.

Kedjora Tebet is somewhat located in a sketchy place. Though it is located in Tebet, it felt like it was in MM2000. Amongst the containers and warehouses was this cute pinkish coffee shop called Kedjora.

It was said that it was owned by the well-known designer, Ivan Gunawan. Kedjora offers snacks and various coffee drinks based on horoscope.

We had their Capricorn Latte, Taurus Coffee Latte and Aries Velvet Latte.

Capricorn Velvet Latte was milk coffee with a dash of palm sugar. The coffee was subtle and it has biscuit like sweetness.

Aries Velvet Latte was my favorite. It tasted like strawberry milk!

Beautika is an Indonesian restaurant specializes in Manadonese food. You order your food in the front before you sit down at a table, quite similar to your everyday Indonesian 'warung style' restaurant.

Located in Petojo, this place has an ample amount of parking space, however it could be quite packed in lunch time. Fingers crossed you'd get spot in rush hour.

I recommed you to get their brenebon soup, banana fritters with roa sambal. Banana fritters with sambal roa, though not a combination you'd see everyday, were perfect. The sweet taste of the banana was balanced by the savory and spicy taste of the sambal roa.

The brenebon soup was delicious. It contain a generous amount of meat and tasty red beans.

Beautika is definitely a nice place to experience the various richness of Indonesian culinary heritage.

At The Buffalo you can get a feast of fried chicken, chicken wings, enourmous burger and of course chicken and waffles.

With #Tastebuddies, Bon(d) had a great meal here.

The chicken was juicy and tender, the waffle was soft. Unexpectedly to be a perfect pairing though those two came from a different world.

Bon(d) forgot to take pictures of the chicken wings, but believe me, they could give you a messy time but a fulfilling one.

Bon(d) just couldn't get tired of Koju's cooking. We've been here numerous times yet they managed to suprise us with their food in every visit.

Last week, we went to this place for a quick dinner. Though Bon(d)'s favorite Special Saikoro Steak was out of stock, the other food they offer gave Bon(d) a pleasant meal.

We had Chicken Katsu Curry, Inari Cheese Salmon Age, Wagyu Beef Yakiniku and we also get a Tamago Sushi as 'angpao'.

Their Inae Cheese Salmon Ago was served hot, the crispy tofu skin hides the salmon, cheese and rice fillings. Trust me, the hot rice will surprise your tongue, but it was all worth the taste!

As of December 2020, @tokyoskipjack in Bulungan has move to its next door. The current place is more fresh however the older place seems more spacious.

Bon(d) had a quick lunch here a few days ago. We ordered NZ Strippling and NZ Tenderloin medium doneness. The Japanese salad side tasted different than I remembered, though it was still tasty as ever.

The honey mushroom sauce managed to make the juicy tenderloin much more flavourful.
