Life is strange sometimes #Tastebuddies, We took a wrong turn one day but rather than turning back, we decided to go on and find this cozy coffee shop in Tebet.

@darlinghabitsignature is located in the suburbs of Tebet. It has a cute interior, the kind that makes you feel like you're in your own room. It also has wooden floors that creaks when someone walks on them. It must be the same floors that Poe described in of his stories. Darling Habit also has a cozy outdoor section.

We had their Black Mamba and Mini Croissants. Black Mamba was a strong coffee with crushed oreos inside of it. The sweet and savory croissants definitely made our afternoon a better one.

Kedjora Tebet is somewhat located in a sketchy place. Though it is located in Tebet, it felt like it was in MM2000. Amongst the containers and warehouses was this cute pinkish coffee shop called Kedjora.

It was said that it was owned by the well-known designer, Ivan Gunawan. Kedjora offers snacks and various coffee drinks based on horoscope.

We had their Capricorn Latte, Taurus Coffee Latte and Aries Velvet Latte.

Capricorn Velvet Latte was milk coffee with a dash of palm sugar. The coffee was subtle and it has biscuit like sweetness.

Aries Velvet Latte was my favorite. It tasted like strawberry milk!

Beautika is an Indonesian restaurant specializes in Manadonese food. You order your food in the front before you sit down at a table, quite similar to your everyday Indonesian 'warung style' restaurant.

Located in Petojo, this place has an ample amount of parking space, however it could be quite packed in lunch time. Fingers crossed you'd get spot in rush hour.

I recommed you to get their brenebon soup, banana fritters with roa sambal. Banana fritters with sambal roa, though not a combination you'd see everyday, were perfect. The sweet taste of the banana was balanced by the savory and spicy taste of the sambal roa.

The brenebon soup was delicious. It contain a generous amount of meat and tasty red beans.

Beautika is definitely a nice place to experience the various richness of Indonesian culinary heritage.

At The Buffalo you can get a feast of fried chicken, chicken wings, enourmous burger and of course chicken and waffles.

With #Tastebuddies, Bon(d) had a great meal here.

The chicken was juicy and tender, the waffle was soft. Unexpectedly to be a perfect pairing though those two came from a different world.

Bon(d) forgot to take pictures of the chicken wings, but believe me, they could give you a messy time but a fulfilling one.

Bon(d) just couldn't get tired of Koju's cooking. We've been here numerous times yet they managed to suprise us with their food in every visit.

Last week, we went to this place for a quick dinner. Though Bon(d)'s favorite Special Saikoro Steak was out of stock, the other food they offer gave Bon(d) a pleasant meal.

We had Chicken Katsu Curry, Inari Cheese Salmon Age, Wagyu Beef Yakiniku and we also get a Tamago Sushi as 'angpao'.

Their Inae Cheese Salmon Ago was served hot, the crispy tofu skin hides the salmon, cheese and rice fillings. Trust me, the hot rice will surprise your tongue, but it was all worth the taste!

As of December 2020, @tokyoskipjack in Bulungan has move to its next door. The current place is more fresh however the older place seems more spacious.

Bon(d) had a quick lunch here a few days ago. We ordered NZ Strippling and NZ Tenderloin medium doneness. The Japanese salad side tasted different than I remembered, though it was still tasty as ever.

The honey mushroom sauce managed to make the juicy tenderloin much more flavourful.

Dessert is a guilty pleasure. Packing more calories that you could possibly burn in a day, would make desserts a bad decision if consumed daily. Once in a while though, you deserve sweets to make your life a more pleasant one.

Beau Bakery could hook you up with delicious waffles, pancakes and bread. A few days ago, Bon(d) decided to indulge our craving for desserts in this place.

Their waffles were crunchy on the outside while soft in the inside. Pouring the syrup on top of the waffles increased the sweetness (and calories) up a notch.

We also had Taco Cone Trio to balance the sweetness of the waffles. The spicy and distinct taste of the salsa managed to draw out the Mexican in me!

A few days ago, Bon(d) went to @115coffee for a quick afternoon coffee (though I decided to get something else other than coffee).

This coffee shop -which offer more than just coffee, they have lunch and desserts- is located in Jalan Kusuma Atmaja, Menteng. It's blue door welcomes you warmly. It also has a great ambiance, especially for discussing bilateral relationship between countries.

I had their Wedang Uwuh. A simple Javanese drink offering warmth on a rainy day.

Hey #Tastebuddies!

A few days, we had an afternoon snack at Kunstkring Paleis. Kunstkring Paleis is one of those restaurant whose interior design is very artsy and classy. Extravagant is the perfect adjective to describe this restaurant. It is filled with artworks, statues, ornaments, paintings as if it were a museum. To note that it also has a grandeur panting of the apprehension of Pangeran Diponegoro.

We had their bitterballen, mendoan, spring roll and croquette. Their food were exquisite. They should be considering the price their charging. The croquettes were presented nicely, the fillings tasted great.
