Though seems small from outside, but the indoor area is spacious. Obviously a lot more than the outdoor area. And it's safer to sit inside during unfriendly weather.
Unfortunately when my friend I visited here around 4 PM, pisang goreng and brownies are out of stock already. So, I ordered hot chocolate and banana cake while my friend prefer iced tea with risoles. I like the hot chocolate and the latter art is pretty too. 
This coffee shop actually offered main course not just snack or pastry. And you can browse various local products here. Not bad to spend your weekend here, to have chit chat with friend. 

The coffee shop is not far from BLOK M SQUARE. After circling around Melawai - Blok M area under the hot weather, my friend and I decided to take a rest here. We almost reluctant to leave this place, already too comforting for us. Unfortunately, I didn't seems to see restroom for visitor. Too lazy to ask, I just went out again to Blok M Square to find restroom.
My friend ordered iced coffee milk while I prefer iced chocolate. I like the chocolate, creamy enough but not too sweet. So, my friend I just chit chat inside. 
There are two areas, outdoor area is more spacious than the indoor. They have pastry, and if you come at the right moment, there would be 30% discount. 

Cuaca akhir-akhir ini panas poll, akhirnya pesan via ojol es kopi java latte dan es kopi latte. Bedanya hanya dengan tambahan brown sugar untuk es kopi java latte. Gak terlalu creamy dan rasa kopinya juga gak terlalu kuat.  Minuman ringan yang pas untuk dinikmati bareng teman. 

Sudah lama gak mampir ke sini, eh surprise melihat sudah ada beberapa tempat duduk tambahan, tidak hanya yang menghadap ke jendela. Jadi kalau sudah lelah berbelanja, bisa rehat sejenak di sini.
Saya pesan chocolate mint, lebih suka chocolate yang biasa sih. Tapi masih oke lah. Plus, pelayanannya baik dan selalu ada promo yang menarik dengan pembayaran cashless. 

This is one of not so many coffee shops in Jakarta that allows visitors to bring their pet. Several customers brings their pet here, relaxing around outdoor area. There are several outdoor area, the one in the front, then another in second floor and also in the back. Most of them are open space, so you have to get going if the rain pouring down on you. There is only one indoor area, located at the second floor.

First they checked our body temperature then we have to wash our hands. Then we ordered our drink and they receive payment in cashless method. I ordered special edition drink: mocha oatly (IDR 75K). Other beverages around IDR 30K, they also serves main course and desserts. Thankfully, I didn't order food because rain pouring down on us heavily.

If you bring your own car, please take note they only have limited parking area. 

Finally visited this cake shop with my friends. We didn't dine in there because their 2 areas were already full with visitors. So, each of us only ordered cake for takeaway. I ordered Devil Cake for takeaway and cost me around IDR 80K.

Unfortunately the cake almost didn't make it home so, the picture isn't so great. But the taste is good, though next time I will try another one. And the plus side is their cake is less sugar.
FYI, they have cute site at the front for people taking their OOTD photos. 

I was here in the beginning 2019, finally I made my second visit. 

Rainy days makes people rush in to enter any coffee shop they can find. Including Awal Mula Coffee shop. We almost panic because there were no seat available... Indoor already full, semi outdoor is out of the question because some of the guests were smoking.
Thankfully, two young ladies were about to leave and they called us to take their seat. 

My friend and I ordered coffee, hot chocolate, lasagna and macaroni. Their chocolate is product by KORTE, so they told me that the taste is not sweet. Which is fine for me. The lasagna well just so so but still okay.
Another Thai tea before we finally going home, as the rain finally stop.
This coffee shop usually a favorite place for people taking OOTD pics. But since the weather was unfriendly, most of the visitors just enjoy their drinks. Though several of them went to 2nd floor for taking pics. 

Another hidden gem in Bogor....when is not crowded with visitors. And my friend and I were lucky, when we arrived there, not so many visitors. Probably due to heavy rain, people unable to come here. As soon as the rain stop, this place started to get crowded.

Their place seems so tiny from outside, but actually they have this garden where visitor can also sit and relax, enjoying live music. Since it was raining when we were there, we prefer to sit indoor at second floor. The seatings area allowing us to maintain physical distancing, so is good. 

My friend ordered cappuccino and I have creme brulee. We share a slice of cheese cake.

It's great for hanging out or bring your work here, as you won't be bothered by other people. Their service is okay and they receive cashless payment as well.
