    OUTSTANDING DINNER! ❤️

    Will always be a fan of AW KITCHEN’s food till now and I hope will always be. So this review is the overall 6 best times visit!

    SPAGHETTINI SPICY COD ROE AND JAPANESE MUSHROOM IN GARLIC OIL (155K) - AWKITCHEN’s specialty dish - fresh spaghetti with spicy cod roe and assorted Japanese mushroom. That Godly flavourful of spicy cod roe collaborate with that al dente pasta and it turns into a dish I literally came back for. (10/10)

    RISOTTO BEEF WITH BOILED HOT SPRING EGG (158K) - diced beef sirloin with cream risotto topped with half cooked boiled egg and truffle oil. Best dinner of tonight’s dish. Full of bold flavor and well balanced! (10/10)

    PAPPARDELLE SALMON AND BROCCOLI CREAM SAUCE (118K) - homemade whole pasta in light cream sauce, salmon and broccoli. Just a simple but cooked and seasoned beautifully turns out to be a great cream pasta! (8/10)

    BLACK ANGUS BEEF TATAKI (135K) - pan seared black angus beef tataki style, drizzled in soy grated daikon sauce and tomato marinade dressing. Another massive dish of the night. That bold flavor from the angus beef and the unique sauce is dang it! YAM! (10/10)

    SALMON COBB SALAD (110K) - classic garden salad topped with salmon, steamed chicken, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, slice olive, avocados and egg served with tomato onion dressing. Simple salad just to balance my palate from all that bold dishes I order. (7/10)

    FETTUCINE JAPANESE MUSHROOMS CREAM (118K) - fettucine with assorted japanese mushroom cooked in creamy sauce - as a fan of cream sauce, just order a simple dish to find the original taste of their pasta. Yet, it’s good but prefer the pappardelle more. (7/10)

    PIZZA AL FUNGHI (110K) - pizza with aromatic mushrooms, ine mozzarella, scarmorza and grana padano cheese topped with bacon. A more average dish, but nonetheless delicious (8/10)

    PIZZA QUATTRO FORMAGGI (130K) with gorgonzola, mozzarella, cheddar and grana padano cheese served with honey. Every bite of that fatty slice of pizza worth the calories. The 4 types of cheese + honey, I couldn’t ask more! (10/10)

    PIZZA CHICKEN TERIYAKI MUSHROOM (105K) - fusion between Japanese and Italian culture which is pizza topped with juicy grilled chicken, nori and sweet teriyaki flavour. One of the best restaurant? Oh yes absolutely, and it’s because of this pizza. Full of flavour and I should say that fusion idea is totally works! (10/10)

    Tugu Kunstkring Paleis [ Menteng, Barat,Indonesia ]

    One of the successful fusion dish!

    I live in Indonesia but I’m not a fan of Indonesian food because most dishes use chili and weird spice to elevate their taste. Born to be a non-chili girl, I couldn’t eat any spicy food. But, I heard lots of positive comments about this restaurant so here I am.
    
BEBEK OPOR (128K) - roasted tender duck in spicy coconut curry with fried potato and japanese kyuri cucumber. I don’t know how they cooked this dish but it’s not spicy at all. And that opor is so creamy but not overly sweet. The duck itself is so tender and balance the opor taste. Love it! (9/10)

    TAHOE TELOR (78K) - crispy fried tofu with eggs served with sweet soya lime kaffir. Another must order in Kunstkring! Just a simple tofu and egg dishes that all Indonesian restaurant serve but can’t resist that crispiness and a little acidity in that sweet soya sauce - an extra kick for overall dishes! (9/10)

    GADO GADO DJAKARTA (78K) - traditional Indonesian vegetable salad with bean curd, soya bean cake, egg, shrimp crackers served with rice cake and peanut sauce. Random choosing, just want to eat some veges but don’t want to order random food recklessly. Gado-gado will always and taste good in my palate (never try worst gado2 ever). (8/10)

    KUNGPAO STUFFED CRISPY DUCK (118K) - marinated of fillet roasted duck stuffed with smoked beef, shiitake mushroom, lotus seed and served with black vinegar sauce. This is one example of reckless and wrong decision to order this dish. There’s two elements that I don’t like - mushroom and black vinegar sauce. So, the overall dish fall apart at the first spoon. (5/10)

    SESATEE ZOETELIEF OF PAK PAHEENG SOLO (248K) - a famous recipe from old Batavia of grilled Australian tenderloin satays marinated in coriander and coconut milk. DEFINITION OF DELICIOUS! Expensive? Absolutely, but OMG their tenderloin satay is soooo big - fatty - yummy and tender! (10/10)

    GEROOSTERDE VISCH (118K) - roasted marinated spicy turmeric sea bass fish fillet, served with fried fern tip and baby potatoes! Not try this one because it’s fish (just a salmon fan) — spicy - and using turmeric as a spice! Not a risky foodie so I pass this one. But my mom said it’s good and cooked well! (8/10)

    Maple & Oak [ Menteng, Kafe ]

    Cozy. Great service. Tasty food! Can’t ask more!

    COFFEE BUTTER STEAK & EGG (138K) - homemade coffee butter, seared angus sirloin steak, sauteed mushroom, 65 degree sous vide egg, sauteed spinach, pomme puree and basil oil. What a great dish for sunday brunch with family. The steak cooked in medium and that coffee infused perfectly into the steak giving roast aromatic. (9/10)

    MAPLE BUTTER BRIOCHE (78K) - their signature maple truffle butter, toasted brioche, beef bacon, strawberries, scrambled, mesclun, cherry tomato and maple syrup. Just one bacon, bread, egg and maple syrup on side - it’s expensive from a value of money perspective but I could ensure you that the combination of flavor make you want to it more and more! Love it! (9/10)

    SALMON AND TRUFFLED SCRAMBLE (88K) - toasted sourdough, salmon gravlax, scrambled egg, white truffle oil, house salad, maple orange vinaigrette. I’m shocked at first because it doesn’t look like salmon in first place (looks like tuna srsly!) So, it was smoked and cooked with beetroot in two ways to create that color. And yes, it’s working! (8/10)

    MASCARPONE BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE (48K) - light mascarpone mousse, blueberry compote, maple milk bread crouton, homemade granola and spiced crumble. Quite a subtle spoonful of crumble; the mascarpone flavour dominates - it’s a pretty and absolutely loveable dish (9/10)

    ICED MAPLE HAZE LATTE (45K); BLUE KIWI ICEBERG (mango - kiwi - blue curacao 45K); SACARACHA (50K) - salted caramel mocha blended topped with whipped cream. The highlight of the drinks would absolutely goes to blue kiwi iceberg. So refreshing, sweet and sour in same level amount and extra kick from that blue soda!

    Considering cheap for overall delicious food!

    Having my brother’s birthday dinner in Jia because so many recommendations come to us about this restaurant! Surprisingly, the price is quite affordable (there’s promo 30% disc for Mandiri credit card) for this chinese restaurant in one finest hotel in Jakarta. So, we’ve ordered some of appealing dish and high recommendation from the restaurant itself! 

    Crispy roasted pork (98K) – just one word to describe this food – HEAVEN! What a superb crispy skin from that roasted pork! Love it. Just a burst full of flavor. (10/10)

    Barbeque pork with honey (98K) – another great pork, a simple dish that i know it can’t go wrong. Just delicious and that honey give an extra sweetness (but with less than 98K after disc) oyeah WORTH IT! (9/10)

    Signature peking duck (half – 218K) – MASSIVE LOVE for this one! I’m totally a chinese fan of peking duck wrap and love that thick sweet duck sauce! Just ask the waiter for that sauce twice and dig other meat with it! Half portion but it’s big enough to get one of each element (didn’t have a chance to take the other ways cook of the duck because my family is too hungry to wait) (10/10)

    Crispy fried beef in honey sauce (68K) – what a unique dish, by its look and also the flavor itself. It’s like a daily food that I eat but I just can’t specify what is it. But I think the usage of honey is a little bit too much so it’s kinda powered and hidden the taste of that fried beef. (7/10)

    Braised homemade bean curd with fungus and ginko nuts (108K) – one of my chinese veges fav is this haha.. can’t go wrong with the combination of tofu and fungus, just a successful extra add-on from that ginko nuts and that crazy yummy brown sauce! (8/10)

    Braised E-Fu Noodles and wild mushrooms with black truffle paste (112K) – expecting a really yummy noodles come into my belly but it turns out to be one of my least favorite. I could taste that massive truffle paste but the combination is just not right for us. I think they using a wrong type of noodle and how they cooked the overall dish is just lack of balance. The positive side is just it comes with a very big portions and absolutely enough for our big family! (7/10)

    Steamed fried rice with prawn wrapped in lotus leaf (98K) – Another least favourite of mine. It’s way too salty from what I imagine. And somehow I could only taste that salty fried rice and salted fish from that big bowl, nothing else. (5/10)

    Deep fried boneless chicken with special chili sauce and mango (82K) – uhlalaaa I love this one! It’s superb yummy. Love that crispy boneless chicken and that sauce is UH-MA-ZINGGG! (9/10)

    Braised pork belly with quail egg (98K) – Triple pork for feed the hungry family! PORK LOVERS, HERE WE COME! Hahaha.. they really smashed all that different pork and we put extra love for their quail egg. Just a great cooking of pork belly in brown sauce which totally blown my mind away! (9/10)

    Overall a very great dish, warm ambience, attentive and polite services. Just some food that have to be remade to become a better one!

    Bebini Gelati [ Gubeng, Kafe ]

    My fav gelato and best teriyaki sauce!!!

    Biasanya pesen yang sorbet, tapi kali ini mau coba yang lain.

    Featuring Arnold’s cookie waffles - crispy waffles, cookie crumb, mini cookies, strawberries, banana brulee, dark choc, salted caramel and two scoops of their fav gelato - bacio and rum timtam. High complexity of flavor and totally love that rum timtam ice cream. What I like about their gelato - it’s rich but not overly sweet. LOVE IT!!! (10/10) *Setiap pembelian gelato bakal dapat stampel gitu, kumpulin dan bisa dapet free gelato (sayangnya ga tinggal di surabaya huhu)

    Bebini fried chicken with sweet and sour teriyaki sauce - menu yang tak pernah terlewatkan setiap kali ke surabaya. Jujur, kalo kalian pernah merasakan saus ayam goyza (resto yang cukup booming jaman aku dulu, mendadak shutdown dan paling rame di TA) - this is the exactly same sauce and I loveeee it somuch! Definitely extra point, but the chicken itself is crispy though. So, there’s no reason I didn’t fall in love with this dish! (10/10)
    
Baby calamari with coriander relish - not an ordinary sauce but taste extraordinary yummy. Uda skeptis duluan awalnya denger nama sausnya, dan itu calamari super crunchy combines with the coriander = DELICIOUS! (9/10).

    Prawn and parsley pesto pasta - awalnya baca review orang katanya gaenak tapi kok aku suka yaaa. Simply flavorful, not overly creamy so I can finish it all by myself. Udang dan tomatnya fresh banget. And I’m a huge fan of pesto so yeah! (9/10)

Hot chocolate - simple and good! Salah satu restoran yang bener2 berhasil untuk serve while it’s hot, bukan cuma sekedar coklat hangat. Dan minuman coklatnya juga rich. (8/10)

    Untuk masakan gaperlu diragukan, positifnya lagi free mineral water yeiy (jarang ada yang masi kasih air gratis). Tempatnya cozy, bersih, luas dan mayan instagrammable. Tempatnya pun tidak terpencil (mudah ditemukan).

    Dan yang aku suka lagi, pelayanannya oke banget. kita bisa coba semua gelato dan sabar banget ngelayanin pembeli. Untuk harganya sendiri ya masi okelah compare to premium ingredients yang mereka pake. Overall memuaskan!

    Hello Sunday [ Cikini, Kafe ]

    BEST CHICKEN WAFFLE & JAVATEA SOFTSERVE EVER!!

    Hari minggu saatnya kuliner mencoba restoran baru atau kembali makan di restoran lama yang terbukti enak dan salah satunya di hello sunday!

    Uda pernah cobain hampir semua makanan mereka kayak salad, nasigoreng, pasta, burger, dan ya biasa aja dan cenderung overpriced sih.. Tapi ada dua outstanding menu yang harus dipesan kalo dateng kesini: (jadi nilai review aku berdasarkan 2 menu ini aja)

    1. BIG! CHICKEN WAFFLE (single - 85K): enak bangettt.. simple isinya cuma crispy chicken di stack diatas waffle, disajikan dengan salad dan butter soy sauce - sama seperti semua restoran lain, tapi each element just made perfectly - that totally crispy chicken, crisp waffle and superb tasty butter soy sauce! yumm.. If you want to share with your partner, just buy it double! (10/10)

    2. WAFFLE BAR (55K): Kita bisa pilih flavor waffle and soft serve nya. PIlihanku jatuh pada PANDAN WAFFLE dengan JAVA TEA SOFT SERVE. Wahhh can't describe how great the java tea soft serve! Not too sweet tapi tetep nonjok rasa java tea nya. enak parahhh teksturnya pun lembut - nagih - and it match well with that pandan waffle. Wangi pandannya enak banget. Ohhh! dan kalian juga harus makan yang disampingnya, mungkin semacem granola gitu enakkk parah dikombinasikan sama eskrim dan wafflenya yuhuu.. And I already tried their kopi tubruk soft serve too. It's taste amazing as well. MAJOR LOVEEE  (10/10)

    So, menurut aku dari segi harga worth it banget! karena sering merasakan yang lebih mahal tapi ga seenak ini dan suasana cozy parah. Pewe banget sih, buat duduk ngobrol or main boardgames juga asikk.. Pelayanan attentive banget cuma kalo duduknya diujung rada susah manggilnya karena dia meja kasir dan servingnya di depan. Tapi overall oke banget!!

    Must Visit Chinese Fine Dining!

    Rencana awalnya mau dimsum aja tapi karena bangunnya kesiangan jadi skalian lunch. Tempatnya mewah layaknya restoran fine dine dan pelayanannya super sigap. Aku suka ambiencenya warm and family banget.

    Half roast chicken (i guess? lupa namanya 128K half): ini enak tapi bukan yang wow banget. Positifnya sih ayamnya garing banget! Dan seasoningnya pas (8/10)

    Sweet and sour spanish iberico pork with pineapple and paprika (268K) - uwow my favorite! Ini sih enak banget, bener2 berasa sweet and sour saucenya dan porknya juga garing, porsiny banyak dan mereka pake iberico dong yum. Worth the price! (9/10)

    Deep fried prawn with wasabi aioli (88K) - perna merasakan yang lebih enak tapi mereka punya termasuk enak dan approve dilidah aku! (8/10)

    Fried rice with conpoy, shrimp and barbeque pork (168K): yang ini kesukaan mamaku, porsinya banyak pake banget. Porknya gapelit. Nasi gorengnya tipe chinese food yg non kecap gt jd ga enek (8/10)

    Braised chicken feet with black bean sauce (42K) - jarang banget ada chicken feet yang ga pedes, salah satunya disini. Manisnya pas dan bumbunya meresap banget. Aku sih yes! (9/10)

    Steamed rice flour rolls with shredded turnip and Yunnan ham (48K) - ini sbnerny awalnya mau psen yang pork turns out slh centang, ternyata turnipnya favorit dan jujur enak parah! Ganyangka bakal seenak dan sesegar ini sih! (9/10)

    Baked abalone puff (2 pcs - 68K): wah kalo yg ini katanya paling favorit dan dimsum andalan - yang ternyata beneran enak sih! Crunchy outsider, abalon tender inside. Rasanya unik dan asinnya pas! (9/10)

    Overall puas dan kenyang sih mkn disini. Makanan mrk relatif mahal untuk main ya namanya juga restoran bintang tp mereka pny dimsum mayan affordable mnrtku dan enak! Porsinya juga gede2.. Boleh dicoba sih :)

    Okuzono Japanese Dining [ Senopati, Jepang ]

    Semuanya enak! NEW FAV ❤️

    Ini tempat yang super booming karena dekornya yang totalitas, berasa lagi di jepang gitu. Mereka juga menyediakan private room (tipe duduknya bukan meja kayak didepan tapi tatami gitu) dengan minimum spending yang menurutku masih makesense around 2 mio.

    Awalnya aku rada skeptis karena kebanyakan temenku bilang cuma tempatnya yang bagus tapi makanannya kurang enak jadi rada lama untuk akhirnya memutuskan makan disini.

    Ternyata enaaaak semua makanannya, cita rasa jepangnya keluar! Maybe temen2ku pada salah pesen kali ya. Dan positifnya (1) mereka masak termasuk cepet; (2) Harganya juga termasuk murah sih (apalagi dessertnya bikin kaget) untuk modelan tempat kek gini serta didaerah senopati (yayy!!)  Disini aku pesen:

    1. Chaba-Beef Marinated (205K) - tea marinated US Rib Eye Grill. Perpaduan beef dengan daun teh sencha menurutku cocok banget, tasteful. Aku pesen tingkat kematangan dagingnya medium dan empuk banget sih, wise portion, umami indeed (9/10)

    2. Salmon ikura don (160K) - menu ini jujur menurutku rasanya unik karena bumbunya tapi enakkk. Jadi dia nasi dengan topping aburi salmon dan ikura yang super fresh, no complaint! Dan porsinya juga lumayan besar. Ditambah sea urchin sauce yang membuat masakan ini beda dari restoran lain. Favorite banget sih sausnya bener2 berasa dan elevate overall dishes! (10/10)

    3. Unagi don (135K) - simple dish that execute perfectly. Unagi with original sweet sauce, simple tapi 4 potong unaginya super enak dan saus manisnya juga pas, nasinya matang sempurna. Aku suka sih, enak juga ini! Dan kenyang hehe (9/10)

    4. Papaku pesen Ruri sushi set (160K) - jadi ada 3 mini bowl dengan isi berbeda2. Kalo ruri terdiri dari kanpachi - chirashi - maguro sushi set. Aku gasempet foto karena dateng terakhir dan uda pada kelaperan. Cuma coba each dikit dan emang enak sih for first spoon (8/10)

    Ga cuma main, bahkan dessertnya menggoda semua akhirnya cobain 3 menu yang terlihat menarik dan emang aku suka basic flavornya:

    5. Strawberry Milk Pudding (40K) - kombinasi milk pudding, jelly & homemade strawberry sauce. Ini kombinasinya cocok sih, sweet pudding with sour berry sauce. Ini contoh dessert yang ingredients simple tapi bisa elevate multiple flavor, tekstur oke, lembut dan enak! (9/10)

    6. Kurogoma Ice cream (25K) - salah satu black sesame yang enak menurutku. Berasa, lumayan strong tapi ga bikin enek (9/10)

    7. Houjicha Brulee (40K) - houjicha infused creme brulee with vanilla ice cream. Wah yang ini speechless sih enaknya. Aku super suka karena jarang resto bisa bikin houjicha flavorful and strong, One of the best houjicha so far! (10/10)

    8. Ice Houjicha Latte (45K) - wah kacau sih mereka emang terbukti bisa bikin rasa houjicha yang enak! Roasted tea nya bener2 strong dan proporsi susu gulanya juga pas banget. Suka parah kalo ga kenyang mah bakal pesen satu lagi haha (10/10)

    Suasana sih top notch banget ya, warm - cozy - family vibes dan pelayannya juga baik2 banget. Mereka bisa jelasin each of their menu, juga beberapa rekomendasi yang enak. Dan mereka surprise nya juga ga abal2, sampe meja sebelah ikut ngucapin juga haha.. Great times spent and happy tummy!

    Fujin Teppanyaki & Japanese Whisky [ Senopati, Jepang ]

    Great Japanese Cuisine! MUST TRY!!

    One of the best Japanese food, at least for me. I'm a japanese lover and 100% love to eat in here either with fam or friends. The 3.5 (0.5 is for that incredible garlic rice) must order menu when I'm in here is:

    1. CHICKEN NANBAN (120K) - Undeniable to be the best chicken nanban I ever eat. They use marinated grilled chicken instead of fried chicken (like other resto) so it's definitely less oily. And their tartar sauce is superb good + suits well with that green pesto sauce (10/10)

    2. MENTAIKO POTATO CHEESE PIZZA (75K/4pcs or 125K/8pcs): ulala this one is superb good! So cheesy, creamy, but not overpowered! The shrimp and mentaiko toppings are fresh and the potato crepes cooked perfectly! MUST TRY! (10/10)

    3. MELTIQUE CUBE ROLL STEAK (285K) with teppanyaki garlic rice - the beef cubes steak are sooo good! Their fujin's signature sauce is another level. And with that savoury garlic rice, TOP NOTCH!!! Super inlove with their garlic rice, seriously how could a rice be that good?! HAHAH (9/10)

    BLACK SESAME GELATO (35K) - simple one! But good chef could always make something simple into a very good one. Love the nutty bold flavor. (8/10)

    So japanese vibes - feels like home, so clean, yet great and attentive workers. No complaint about their services or food! Maybe just a little bit pricey for their meltique steak. I hope they could maintan this for a long time

    Amazing and Exquisite Dining Experience

    AMUZ is one of the best romantic fine dine restaurant and I've been waited for a really long time to dine here but the price is.... hahahah but because today is my big sister's birthday so she treat me lunch in here (she's so kind). Can't wait to taste it because lots of great review about this place!
    When I first enter the place, absolutely could tell that this place is high-end - elegant - exquisite dining experience and I'm perfectly sure that the dish will look stunning and delicious as well. Their services was outstanding, they explain their favorite dishes well - each and every components, so if we have dietary restrictions - they could manage it. Oh and please noted this! Baby sitters are not allowed (makesense!), no slippers or short pants allowed.
    Next we move to the dishes. So, we ordered 2 pax of trois cours - you could choose each 1 appetizer, main course and dessert. And I ordered a bottle of sparkling water to clean up my palate.
    'Welcoming' bread: Simple one but each of the bread taste great. So, it consists of wholewheat bread, sourdough bread, small baguette and ciabatta with cold butter. I personally love their ciabatta compare to other bread because the smell and taste is sooo good! (9/10)

    1st appetizer: Le Tartare de Thon - yellow finn tuna tartar with crisp prawn cracker, roasted black sesame seed and lemon olive oil dressing. OMG totally fall in love with their fresh tuna, it seasoned well and not too much of lemon olive oil. What a great start! (10/10)

    2nd appetizer: Les Escargots a la Bourguignonne - snails baked in fresh garlic herb butter on toasted walnut bread. Another great dish. I'm a fan of escargot so I know it will be great, but the tricky one is that walnut bread - not much restaurant could make a great one, yet this place could do it! I thought that bread is the helper for overall dish! (8/10)

    1st maincourse: Le Risotto de Fruits de Mer Milanaise - seafood risotto milanese with prawn, snapper, squid and new zealand mussel. That saffron risotto is amazing and smell great! A little bit salty but their seafood is superb fresh and seasoned well! (8/10)

    2nd maincourse: Le Steak Frites - grilled black angus grain fed beef sirloin with french fries, mesclun lettuce and marchand de vin sauce. That beef is extremely great, chewy and cooked perfectly. That wine sauce taste unique but great which is an extra point to that great beef. Plate of happiness I could say. With that big portion, PERFECT! (10/10)

    For the dessert, I'm not a cheese fan so I ordered:

    1st dessert: La Tarte aux Peches - peach flan tarte with lemon sorbet, almond chiboust and caramelized peach. Plate of heaven, all the elements taste great but when you mix it together - numero uno! Sour, sweet with extra kick from almond - YASSS! (10/10)

    2nd dessert: Le Cremeux au Cafe Jivara - coffee cremeux, chocolate hazelnut praline mousse, caramelized banana and banana rum sorbet. This one taste great as well. But I've already eat all that bold main and appetizer so it's too bold for me. So, I do exchange with my sister for the dessert (9/10)

    The first time you come you would think 350 is crazily expensive for 3 small courses but after you finish it, I think it's still okay because they use premium ingredients and lots of sauce combination to make it. And btw, the portion is quite big for me. So, overall it's a memorable dining experience for me
