Do you know where is the best place to celebrate new year? Grand Dafam Hotel is the answer 🥳🥳.
In the last day of 2022, Grand Dafam Hotel has been held a new year event with tropical party as the theme. If you paid to join the party, you would get a paper bracelete in your hand, used tropical outfit as dress code, and the important... ate buffet whatever you want 😍😍.
The menu was also diverse. They had Indonesian cuisine, kebab, western cuisine, middle east cuisine, fruit, drink, and also a dessert. The ambience also nice, neat, and not really fancy like in a hotel in general. But, the place is super wide and super cozy ❤. The service was also nice and friendly.
I try:
1). Bolognaise Pasta: I though it would be only have sour taste but, no. It was yummy, the pasta texture was aldente and they also had a sour-savoury taste. I like it.
2). Shawarma: This beef and the bread was super tasty and had a rich taste. Not only, that i love the taste from the mushroom sauce. Dominan with savoury taste and mmm... yum ^^.
3). Kebab: It's also yummy, the chicken was super tasty and the taste was also rich. I love it so much <3 .
4). Fried Noodle: The texture was aldente, the taste was dominant in savoury, and the topping was good also.
5). Tahu Gejrot: Too ordinary i think. It depends on how you but the sauce to the tofu. Not really spicy at all.
6). Dessert: All of the dessert in here was have a perfect sweet taste. Not oversweet and in some chocolate cake, it was also have a bitter hint.
Overalll, all of the food was nice and out of my expectation. Would love to eat in here again. Hope in the future i can celebrate it in here 😍😍.
Madcoco -- Sebuah brand minuman kelapa punya Titan Tyra yang berlokasi di food court Dotonbori, Mall Of Indonesia.
Di sini, gue cobain edisi spesial mereka di hari libur namanya Choco Hazel Berry dengan tambahan topping Granola. Totalnya jadi 48k. Ya, wajar2 aja lah ya minuman di mall dihargain segitu.
Rasanya?
Ini sebenarnya kelapa blender dengan campuran hazelnut, selai berry, sama dikasih granola. Dan yeah, lagi-lagi kelapanya gak berasa dan cuma es doang yang berasa. Dan rada berrynya sedikit kerasa, hazelnutnya juga. Intinya, ini cuma es doang lah yang dominan di mulut. Rada mengecewakan, sih buat gue pribadi.
Mi Godog Jawa & Mi Tek Tek Kawan Lama -- The stall that sold Godog Noodles, Tek Tek Noodles, etc. Located in Warung Tenda WGP, in front of WGP apartment and open at night.
Because, i already eat noodles in the afternoon. I try Kwetiaw Godog at the night when i visited to the store.
How about the taste?
In my mouth, it taste sweet and also savoury. But, the taste is balance. Sweet and savoury, both taste are dominan. I love the soup because, it was super tasty. But, i think, it would be more tastier if i try it with noodle.
For the ambience, it not really clean and neat because, this store is in the tent street food. But, for the hospitality was nice and friendly.
Kohicha Cafe -- Sebuah kafe yang menjual aneka fusion Japanese food yang ada di Ruko Kirana, Kelapa Gading. Gue datang kemari dalam rangka undangan gathering bareng teman2 gereja.
Di sini, gue cobain: Honey Bee Tea sama Chicken Shirataki Yakisoba seharga 65k. Worth it untuk sekelas makanan kafe. Apalagi, mereka pakai yakisoba.
Rasanya?
1). Honey Bee Tea: Dia rasanya dominan ke asam, gak jauh beda lah sama lemon tea.
2). Shirataki Yakisoba: Rasanya dominan ke asam manis, tektur yakisobanya kenyal. Toppingnya juga royal ada ayam, telur, sama remahan kulit ikan.
Ambience tempatnya cozy. Banyak dekorasi natal yang makin mempercantik tempat ini. Pelayanan juga ramah dan friendly.
Menu yang dipesan: honey bee tea, Shirataki Yakisoba
Mixue -- Mixue is famous drinking brand from China. This brand is super famous in Indonesia. And this brand is have so many many branch in Indonesia. In Indonesia, this brand have a called "malaikat yang mencatat ruko kosong" or if in translated in English it called "angel who write an empty office house".
In Mixue, the most famous menu in here is the ice cream and the bubble drinks. But, i tried the tea menu. I tried Peach Earl Grey Tea (16k) and Original Jasmine Tea (10k). It's super duper cheap.
How about the taste?
1). Jasmine Tea: I bought less sugar varian. The less sugar one is not really sweet. And have a bitter hint. The jasmine aroma is not really strong. But, the tea taste is dominant in the mouth.
2). Peach Earl Grey Tea: Dominant with sour taste from the peach fruit. But, in the last slurp, you'll try the sweet taste from the jelly.
The service is kind and friendly ❤. I try in Kelapa Gading branch. In this branch, the ambience is not really neat and the sit is not too much. But, it's okay... because, the place is only for takeaway.
Menu yang dipesan: original jasmine tea, peach earl grey tea
Fish n Co -- Memutuskan buat mampir ke sini karena kabarnya ini restoran mau tutup tanggal 31 Desember. Secara kebetulan, gue juga belum pernah makan di sini.
Saat itu, gue memesan menu The Best Fish n Chips in Town + Paella Rice seharga 115k. Well, mahal kalau kata gue.
Rasanya?
Paella ricenya tawar, gak berasa apa-apa. Fish n chipsnya lumayan, bumbunya oke gurihnya dan gak amis. Cuma gue gak suka sama tepungnya yang gak nempel. Mayonya oke, asamnya pas. Tapi, ya... overall ini kurang, sih.
Ambience tempatnya nyaman meski rada sempit. Tapi, pilihan tempat duduknya ada banyak. Pelayanan ramah dan friendly.
Coffee Tree -- Sebuah kedai kopi yang menjual aneka kopi dari biji kopi murni di Ruko Mall Of Indonesia. Mereka juga jual biji kopi murni di sini.
Gue di sini memesan Caffe Latte Hot seharga 45k. Worth it, sih karena mereka pakai biji kopi juga.
Rasanya?
Latte sendiri adalah menu kopi yang paling light di sini. Tapi, se light kopi di sini, tetap aja rasanya strong dan dominan ke pahit khas kopi. Susunya gak terlalu berasa, lebih berasa ke kopinya. Efeknya gak terlalu strong tapinya. Gue minum ini pas agak malam tapi, jam 12 malam gue ngantuk juga.
Ambience tempatnya luas. Nyaman juga buat kerja sama ngumpul. Apalagi, tempat duduknya banyak pilihan. Hanya saja pas gue masuk sini, gue disambut aroma nasi hainam hahaha.
Kodaigiri -- Sebuah kedai yang menjual aneka macam onigiri. Lokasinya sebenarnya pas di samping kampus gue. Tapi, setiap kali pergi kuliah gak sempet mulu mampir ke sini padahal, udah jadi wishlist sejak lama 😭. Cuma ternyata takdir mempertemukan gue kembali dengan tempat satu ini pas gue lagi mampir ke Christmas Market MOI dan nemu booth mereka.
Di sini gue pesan paket onigiri 3 biji seharga 70k. Worth it lah ya harga segitu dapat 3, mana porsinya gede2 lagi dan bisa buat 2 hari.
Rasanya gimana?
1). Beef Kinoko Gohan: Dia rasa gurihnya unik, isiannya juga royal ada shirataki juga di dalam. Kenyang, sih ini.
2). Kurimi Tori Truffle: Meskipun ada kata "tori" di nama menunya tapi, gue merasa mereka kagak isi ayam di dalem 🤨. Malahan trufflenya yang banyak dan dominan di mulut, aroma trufflenya juga kenceng parah.
3). Salmon Mentaiyaki: Ini enak, sih. Asam gurih dari si mentainya pas dan gak amis.
Untuk pelayanan, mantap. Ramah dan friendly.

Ini Gelato -- Gue nemu ini pas ke Christmas Market festival di MOI. Karena emang mau es krim gue pada saat itu. Di sini, mereka menjual es krim yang mayoritas memakai rasa dari kacang2 mahal yang langka.
Gue mencoba varian Macadamia seharga 38k. Worth it lah ya, pakai macadamia soalnya. Tau sendiri ini kacang mahal.
Rasanya?
Dia teksturnya padat, khas gelato. Terus untuk rasanya, di mulut dominan ke kacang. Susunya berasa tapi, gak sedominan si kacangnya. Pecinta kacang pasti suka ini. Rasa manisnya juga pas, sama sekali gak kemanisan.
